From what I really liked. Territory - a lot of greenery, very diverse plants - the feeling of a botanical garden. Very beautiful and well maintained palm trees. And pomegranate trees in the fall are a separate conversation !!!
Beach. There used to be a slab, the slab was broken, covered with pebbles, now the entrance to the sea is excellent. On the beach, the UNESCO blue flag is absolutely deserved. For 8 days of stay, the sea is super clean and transparent. Well, warm, but this is already a merit of nature. Not to mention the color, such blueness and blue make your head spin. No dirt, debris, leaves. Opposite the island: waves, zero storm. Near the mountains, the wind on the beach is also not particularly felt. There were no problems with sunbeds (I don’t know how it is in summer).
Rooms. New repair. Still clean. The beds are comfortable. Drinking water is replenished in the required amount. Hair dryer is new. Shampoos, soap, gels, cream, slippers - everything is there. Safe for free. Where the numbers go - how lucky. Our room 3002 in the central building overlooked the pool, a piece of the sea and a restaurant. It suited us. At 7.00 the restaurant began its work, pleasant music was playing - it was a call to swim in the sea in order to earn money for a bun at breakfast.
Food. For every taste. I liked the grilled turkey, grilled chicken legs, lamb, sea bass fish and some other, I don’t remember the name, a large number of fresh and grilled vegetables. Cherry tomatoes are just sugar. Side dishes - rice, potatoes, couscous, bulgur, beans. There is a corner for those who have a diet - steam vegetables, rice, veal. The youth ate french fries. From seasonal fruits watermelons, melons, grapes, pears, apples, peaches, nectarines. I never liked ayran, but here I just checked it out.
Bars and drinks. Two bars on the beach, one in the lobby. People praised the beer, but we preferred the gin and tonic. The bartenders did not spare alcohol. Everything was in abundance. Maybe because the season was already ending and the hotel was not super full.
Contingent: French, Poles, Turks, Ukrainians, Russians, many young people.
The animation is rather weak, we can say that it was practically non-existent, but it's all an amateur.
Staff. In addition to registration upon arrival, they did not communicate, and since they did not communicate, it means that everyone worked well and did their job perfectly.
Recommendations: recommended.
We rested at the hotel from May 31 to June 10.2018. We really wanted to go to Bodrum on the Aegean Sea, so we chose this hotel at a normal price and did not lose. Beautiful well-groomed and large territory, transparent as a tear the sea. The hotel is quiet which means quiet at night and almost all the bars are closed. I got the room in the main building, on the ground floor, which was very convenient, thanks to the manager Aiza, she helped with the check-in, and also throughout the whole time Aiza helped on any issue, a friendly and helpful girl, special thanks to her, there would be more such kind managers in hotels in Turkey. The location of the room was good as everything is nearby, both the beach and the main pool, as well as the bar, restaurant and reception. Elevators are working.
The room is after repair, everything is beautiful, do not be surprised that you will not see the TV right away, it is built into the mirror, until you turn it on you will understand that it is there, maybe someone has already come across this, THE ONLY REQUEST TO THE HOTEL MANAGEMENT TO SUPPLY DRYERS FOR LAUNDRY ON THE GROUND FLOOR !! ! It is easy to get to Bodrum, there are always minibuses and taxis near the hotel, there will be no problems, we went to the city several times for shopping at the MIDTOWN shopping center, you get there from the bus station, transferring to another minibus. PRICE TO THE CITY, TO THE BUS STATION 3 LIRA FROM 1 PERSON (approximately 42 rubles). There you can then transfer to another minibus and get to the shopping center. You can also do shopping in the center, near the bus station, gradually descending to the waterfront of Bodrum. There is a market where they bought fresh shrimp (there are also fish, fruits, etc. ), in the same place in restaurants they fried them on the grill, with sauce. In general, I liked it very much, like shopping itself, and just walking.
By the way, there were sellers and Russian speakers, but this is mainly in the center of the local market.
Once again, regarding the hotel:
The staff is friendly, the food is 5+, everything is very tasty and varied, not only in the main restaurant, but also in the snack bar, which opens at 12 noon, so you don’t have to go to the main restaurant. pizzas, and doners, and cutlets, kebabs, quails, etc. , and after 15:00 sweets. You won't be left hungry, the main thing is to come early in order to have time for some delicious dishes, such as red fish, which is quickly taken apart (salmon, trout, chum salmon).
Special thanks to the staff!
Many thanks to the managers Isa, Nese, Azemi. (Girls from Kyrgyzstan, they know Russian and Turkish well, they always helped with any questions) Also thanks to the waiters Aidai, Sokhan. At the reception guys Salim, Nurbek, Umit. Also maid Orazbek, Assel.
All the guys are friendly, always ready to help and solve any problems if possible. Helped, prompted, agreed. All the best, thank you and all the best. I would like the management to adequately appreciate these good employees and be interested in such personnel in the future.
P. S In general, I don’t know what they write in negative reviews, it’s clear that people are different, picky, but I’ll say that my wife and I really liked it, the food is delicious, there is a lot of it, probably this is a plus for the opening of the season, there were a lot of fruits (strawberries, cherries, watermelons, melons, apples, pineapples, kiwi, grapes), meat, fish. The territory is well-groomed, the entrance to the sea is a bit with stones, but tolerable. Sun loungers are always available. There is a water park, expanse for children. Thai massage is good at the spa. Animation is both at the pool and on the playground. In the evening there was a show, there was also a live sound . . At night, peace and quiet (.
SO IN THE END I WANT TO WISH THE HOTEL PROSPERITY AND SUCCESS, KEEP THE BRAND AND PLEASE YOUR GUESTS, AND I WANT US TO GO BACK TO THIS HOTEL AGAIN. IF THERE IS A POSSIBILITY TO RETURN TO BODRUM NEXT YEAR, WE WILL BE PLEASURE TO CHOOSE YOUR HOTEL!!!! !
But... Continuation is usually more interesting than the beginning. That is what happened to us. Impressions are positive, which I want to share with you.
Check-in at the hotel takes place exactly at 14.00, so we had the opportunity to go and appreciate Ersan's cuisine during lunch. The kitchen deserves applause. For 8 days we tasted various dishes prepared mostly according to the recipes of European cuisine. Various types of meat, fish, omelets in different forms, cheeses, salads. Delicious pastries.
Of the drinks, beer was probably the best.
After lunch, check-in began. Rooms are standard no frills.
But the territory of the hotel was distinguished by a large number of wonderful plants. Sometimes you even get the impression that you are in a botanical garden.
The hotel's pools attract tourists with children, but older people prefer sea procedures, where animation programs take place. In my opinion, they are somewhat boring, and in the evening there is simply nothing to do in the hotel. Either walk from the beginning to the end of the hotel, or go to Bodrum. Which is what we did. I recommend everyone to taste the evening life of Bodrum. And here is the route. From Ersan, you need to climb a little uphill to the checkpoint behind which you will see small buses, to which drivers will immediately invite you. Travel 2.5 lira. Drive to the final stop "Garage" (refer to when you drive up to the site where the same buses will stand), and after getting out, follow the rest of the people who will lead you to the main street of Bodrum, where Turkish shopping and the bustle of eastern cities are already waiting for you.
at the hotel, I recommend buying tours for excursions. From excursions I can advise Ephesus. During this trip, you can visit the house of the Virgin, which is under the protection of the Vatican. I recommend everyone to visit this wonderful place.
Have a nice holiday everyone!
Now a few minuses that one could not talk about, but still: small rooms but rooms only for sleeping. A disco that should be open until two closes whenever they want - and that's it. Also, I would like to give some good advice. They wanted to prick me, a person who knows Turkish perfectly, several times (looks in the face and looks at... wow, I ask why he smiles, he made a mistake, it’s just a habit with them and even a disease, or maybe even an integral business). For example, go to a store, buy shoes, give dollars, he converts from Lira to Dollars, takes your money, gives 10 change instead of 30 and smiles in your face and says ok (but you don’t understand these numbers and don’t understand how everything happened). and it's everywhere and everywhere it's just a habit so be careful, take a calculator, count change, take checks. in the bazaars, cut the price by 55 percent and get a 25% discount for sure. Even in Duty Free they....wow. You won’t regret taking it to Yersan / Bodrum, by the way, don’t believe everything that is written in booklets and on websites, etc. instead of 5 kilometers, maybe 10 instead of free, maybe for a fee, don’t be surprised.
The hotel is very clean and well maintained. Lots of food, delicious.
In general - I advise you to visit!
P. S. We lived in two-story bungalows, almost every room had a sea view.
Liked:
1 Beautiful park, well-groomed beach, unobtrusive animators (I hate animation, although we still remember with a smile the Guten Morgen song that they played in the mornings near the pool).
Clean cool sea without jellyfish, small fish swim. The beach, although concrete, is covered with sand and wooden platforms. Clean delicious air.
2 We originally booked a 2-bed standard room with a sea view, but we were put in a triple room, which was great, because it turned out to be much more spacious than a double room.
3 There were few compatriot tourists (mostly Belgians, Germans, French, Poles... ). You can communicate well with the staff in English, many speak Russian (except for the cleaners). Everyone is smiling and happy to help.
4 The spa has Russian staff, and they work well.
5 The room was cleaned daily, towels and sheets were changed, even if we forgot to leave a dollar for a tip.
6 One day we forgot the photocopier right on the table in the main restaurant and went on an excursion. The next day we returned - and the fotik was waiting for us at the waiter's, which was very nice.
7 The hotel has several Wi-Fi hotspots in the lobby and on the terrace. Sometimes the net was caught in our room. The Internet is free and not very fast, but you can check your mail.
8 The food was good, but not 5 stars. There were a lot of fruits, cottage cheese, yoghurts, an abundance of vegetables, delicious pastries and oriental sweets.
One thing I didn't like:
There was almost no natural meat (I can't live without meat and fish). Sausage and soy sausages. There are no fish. In general, there is no seafood (it is called, they came to the seashore). Juices are tasteless. Wine and beer is also so-so. As far as I understand, this applies to all locally produced drinks served in Turkish hotels. The main restaurant is very noisy.
The hotel is very good. If you diversify the meat and fish menu - it will be great.
A couple of notes about Bodrum.
We went for a walk in the old part of the city almost every day. The road meanders between the sea and mountains, past secluded wild beaches and moorings with snow-white yachts. Minibuses run every 5 minutes: the final one is right at the hotel gate.
CURRENCY EXCHANGE in Bodrum:
pay attention to the currency exchange offices that say tax free (this naduvalovo is located near the bus station of minibuses). Do not change money immediately! After 300 meters towards the embankment in banks, the exchange rate is 20% more profitable (although there it is also decently overpriced for tourists, but everything is better in different ways than in a hotel and at airports)
