The staff fully provides guests with comfort, cleanliness, coziness. The food is varied, a lot of meat dishes, an abundance of fruits (we rested in September and, apart from all other fruits, there were a huge amount of delicious peaches! ), Vegetables, sweets... The waiters at dinner are not intrusive, as often happens in hotels with half board.
But it was strictly forbidden to carry and have drinks bought not at the hotel in the room, even a couple of bottles of alcohol were confiscated from Muscovite acquaintances (if you really need it, you can just store it in your suitcase).
The hotel has a good location, its own beach, there is a platform nearby from which a boat departs to the center of Bodrum, the center can also be reached by minibus or on foot 20 minutes.
There is a SPA center on the territory of the hotel.
In a word, a very worthy hotel!
We stayed for two weeks in August 2005.
We had a room overlooking the sea and, which we especially liked, Bodrum (it is located, as it were, on the opposite bank).
The room is very large, tiled floor (it was very convenient for us to walk barefoot after a shower), a large balcony, the bathroom is also of sufficient size. The cleaning of the rooms is excellent, regardless of the tip. I really liked the staff - everyone is friendly and welcoming. They don’t really speak Russian, so they don’t have to! Turkey is not Russia.
The area seemed big to us. There is no feeling of tightness. Everything is beautiful and well maintained.
If you choose a hotel in Bodrum, then Salmakis, it seems to me, is the best choice in terms of location and facilities. If you want to spend the evening in a bar under a palm tree almost on the seashore with a glass of cocktail - please, there are two bars with live music in the hotel (they sing awesome! ).
Do you want parties?
5 minutes by boat (or 25 minutes on foot - as you like) and you are in Bodrum, where there are 2 largest and most famous discos in Europe.
We visited one - a large ferry-type ship - marino club katamaran - goes to sea for the whole night. Dance until you drop!
Bodrum, Salmakis - forever!
The hotel is currently remodeling many rooms.
The rooms are presented in three versions: with a view of the sea - small rooms with tiled floors and a shower; overlooking the park area or patio - carpet and bath.
We were given a room overlooking the park area, very spacious, carpet, bath, just renovated: furniture, safe, plumbing - everything is "zero".
For those who wanted to move from small rooms with sea views to rooms like ours, the reception offered to pay an additional $140. The photo of our room has not yet been presented on any site. Safe in the hotel for a fee.
It costs $ 5 per day, and the safe can only be taken for the entire period of stay. No one speaks Russian at the reception, Russian is spoken, yes, and even then a few phrases can only be heard from the waiters in the restaurant.
Everything that you will take at the hotel is entered on your card, the account for which you pay upon departure.
The hotel is located on steps, so the territory is not very large, but very green and well-groomed. The pool is probably the largest and most beautiful in Bodrum. Sunbeds, mattresses are free, both by the sea and by the pool. Nearby are Azka and Charm hotels.
To the center of Bodrum 15 minutes on foot or 5 minutes by boat. I do not recommend ordering excursions from the meeting parties, the difference with the city is very decent.
We booked a 2-day tour for two for $230, and in the city it would cost us $110 for two. Is there a difference? We booked the next tour in the city, saving a lot of money and not breaking off.
