I want to share my impressions of the rest at the Riva Bodrum Resort. I will say right away that there are pluses, there are minuses, and if you choose this hotel, then you need to take this into account so as not to spoil your mood and rest.
Let's start with the check-in: in the hotel lobby, at the reception, they showed our passports, filled out a questionnaire, they gave us a key card one for the room and told us to wait until we were taken to the room (because it’s hard to find it ourselves, we were generally confused on the first day, where to go, and asked the staff). We waited 20 minutes at the reception until we noticed that everyone who came with us was no longer in the lobby, and other tourists were escorted out of the lobby by the hotel staff, and they already had bracelets on them (at first we thought that they were put on after how they settle, but it turned out we just forgot to hang them), in the end we had to come up and ask ourselves. On the one hand, you can understand that employees are also people and get tired, but on the other hand, somehow unprofessional. We were also given an A4 sheet with the concept of the hotel (see attached photos).
We flew in very hungry (we ate at the airport at 10 am, and settled us at about 5:20 pm), but we didn’t manage to eat, because. the snack bar was already closed (it is until 17:00), and dinner from 19:00. At the reception, they did not react at all, they gave a delivery business card and said to order food. If we were still waiting for the delivery, we would definitely die of hunger. In a 3-minute walk from the hotel we found a store and bought bagels with sesame seeds and kefir there (the food is so-so, but at least somehow satisfied our hunger).

I want to warn you right away that it is difficult to meet Russian speakers in this part of Turkey (except for tourists), the hotel staff speaks English or Turkish (unlike Kirish, Kemer, where we previously rested).
Now about the room: we were settled in a triple room with a double and a single bed overlooking the sea (I also attached a photo of the room). The mattress and pillows were great and the bed was comfortable. There was no shower gel in the bathroom (aka shampoo), although we had our own brought bath accessories, but we would not have enough of them, so we informed the receptionist about the lack of gel and the next day he was already in the dispenser. There is also a safe for a deposit in the room (you pay $20 at the reception, they give you the key and use it, and on the day of check-out you give the key and take the deposit, we didn’t have less than $50, so they gave $50, they were returned when you handed over the room) .
In terms of nutrition, everything was excellent: for breakfast they took scrambled eggs and grilled toast with grilled cheese + delicious pancakes with chocolate + coffee (we ate our heads); for lunch they took something meat, vegetables, cheese cakes, less often a side dish (it is strange that they had absolutely tasteless potatoes in any form) + sweets, watermelons, ice cream (pistachio and chocolate were especially tasty); for dinner, they mostly took fish / meat with vegetables + sweets. They also drank tea, but added lemon juice and mint to it - it tastes better. We tried beer from alcohol (at lunch and dinner it went with a bang for food), and after dinner we went to the bar and drank cocktails: there are cool ones and not so much, but this, as they say, is a matter of taste.
As for the hotel territory: terraced development, a hall with a reception on the ground floor, on the -2nd floor there is a games room with free billiards, table tennis and darts (but it's stuffy there, because there are no air conditioners + one of the evenings we came there after 22:00 to play billiards, after 20 minutes of playing the hotel employee came, silently closed the doors and it became unbearably stuffy, we opened them, after which he came again and closed them, we immediately opened them back - to which he began to speak in English, that they should be closed, we replied that with the doors closed, it was as if you were in a sauna, he began to say that the noise from the cue hitting the ball prevented the guests from sleeping (apparently there were complaints and he came to close it), but it was unpleasant for us, because we are also guests and he could explain initially what was the matter, and not slam into a stupid door). In general, this should also be taken into account.

As for the sea: we went to wild beaches. One is near the Isiz hotel (it takes about 10 minutes to walk from the main exit, but there is a very steep descent, it is difficult to climb back + construction is underway near it and most likely soon this beach will be private and closed to Riva Bodrum Resort guests). It takes 20-50 minutes to go to other wild beaches, mostly off-road along the sea, but it's worth it - the sea there is of different shades of green and blue with clear azure water and mountain views + you can see a stunning sunset. There were also on city public beaches - not impressed: muddy water and shallow.
The hotel is the final stop of the Bodrum-Gumbet minibus, where you can get to Gumbet, visit the castle of St. Peter, see the mausoleum, the amphitheater, or just visit the city beach. We went there 2 times (the first time we bought an excursion to the Dalyan reserve, it was cool, I recommend it, at a price it cost us $ 30 per person + we spent an additional $ 14 for a portion of 3 crabs ($ 7), 3 bottles of pomegranate juice (0 each , 33 l = $6) and a tip to the driver ($1); the second time they wanted to visit the castle, they read on the Internet that the entrance costs 20 liras per person, and on the spot it turned out that 90 liras ($11.25). it’s expensive just to look at the stone building from the inside. Next to the castle there is a port and it would be a little more expensive (for 125 lira = $ 15.5) to sail on a yacht and swim in 6 different bays from 11 to 18 with lunch included, to you understood our indignation.
On one of the evenings we smoked a hookah in a hotel for $ 15 - thick and dense smoke, there was a lot of it, we smoked a hookah for about 1.5 hours, normal.
Regarding water: when checking in, there were 2 bottles of 0.5 l in the mini-bar - they don’t bring more water, we had 2 more bottles of 0.5 l with us (they gave water on the plane), so 2 l was enough for us trips to and from the beach. They collected water in a restaurant, bar, in the hall from vending machines.
As for the towels: they ask you not to use them on the beach and the pool, we took a dip in the pool 1 time during the day and we didn’t need towels, but we still took them to the beach, t. to. they didn't have theirs.
Regarding cleaning: there is none, they cover the bed, change towels and remove garbage from the floor, if you throw it on, the bed was not changed even once in a week, they don’t vacuum.
About WiFi: catches only in the lobby, restaurant, bar and weaker on the sunbeds by the pool.
