Rested with my husband in this hotel in August 2021. The hotel impressed at first sight. Luxurious large well-groomed territory, clean rooms, cleaning twice a day, Bulgary cosmetics. Everything is provided in the rooms (iron, hair dryer, bathrobes, toiletries), who needs a pillow menu.
Food here is a special kind of art! Incredible serving, I want to eat already with my eyes! In meat El Gaucho - incredible steaks, beef carpaccio, Lujo meat sushi - a must-have!! ! Italian Sorriso - beef vitello tataki (you'll lick your fingers), grilled octopus and risotto. Gaia - delicious breakfasts on the beach with an incredible view. In Asian Shibori, you should definitely try Kamameshi - a risotto with shrimp and truffle oil, as well as beef tataki. The Mediterranean restaurant Opa 18+ is located on Indigo Beach. Evening dances on the sand at the coast and bewitching music.
Entertainment: Evening show program with live music and cocktails at the Escobar bar for lovers of night parties.
Beach: rested all the time on Indigo 18+. There are enough places, you don't have to run anywhere. White sand and incredible turquoise water.
Waiters run around all the time: cocktails, fruits, ice cream - no questions.
I would like to especially note the 24/7 concierge service Mustafa and Zhanna - they deserve special thanks! Always in touch, everything is solved in a matter of minutes. Thank you for being so considerate! Thanks to you, our vacation was unforgettable! A hotel where you want to return and we will definitely do it!
1. There are fragrances in the corridors. The smell is far from neutral.
2. Kitchen. Breakfast buffet. The choice is poor. A fruit stand, a cheese stand, a porridge stand and a bowl of sausages. It's all global. They asked for water at the table, the waiter disappeared. Probably went to drill a well)))
3. Lunch and dinner at a la carte restaurants. You order, they bring it to you. They brought a salad with mold. To the question "what is it? " Answered that it is a Turkish seasoning.
4. Territory for an amateur. Big, lots of space but mountainous. I prefer more level ground.
Is the hotel worth the money? IMHO not worth it. Hotel pathos is akin to drinking the Widow Clicquot from plastic cups
Vacation with privileges is a VIP concept vacation - Lujo edition:
1. Exclusive "secret zone" - this indicates that the tourist according to this VIP concept should be met at a separate reception. Reality - met, like everyone else, at the usual reception. Champagne was prescribed at the VIP meeting - it was not (
2. Fast track - in both directions - it was not on the way back!! ! DID NOT HAVE!
3. The availability of places on your own beach is one of the main conditions of the VIP CONCEPT. Reality - there were no places on our own beach. We were just shocked as it was important to us. We were sent by the hotel staff to the Common Beach.
4. The room that we bought was called "forest suite".
It is stated that this is for people who love unity with nature! Why? Yes, because there is a lot of greenery around this type of room! Reality - a couple of small Christmas trees.
5. I'll go over the points that were also announced on the official. website, and which were not in reality:
- Turkish towel - apparently they should have been presented - reality: there is no Turkish towel
- Presence of a leather case for keys - reality: no leather case
- The presence of a baggage tag is a reality: its absence
- A cosmetic bag should go as a gift - reality: no gift
- Special gifts for children - reality: no gifts
- Of everything declared, there was only children's cosmetics (and, mind you, pouring it out of tubes is UNREAL!!! ! )
It may seem that these are all trifles - BUT FROM THESE SMALL THINGS THE VIP CONCEPT IS DEVELOPED!!!!
Well, now let's move on to all the jambs (you can’t call them otherwise) from the side of the Lujo hotel:
one.
The room we were put in didn't have a living room!! ! Which was stated at the very beginning. What was the surprise at first, then the disappointment and indignation that the reality does not correspond to the declared one, and notice from the VIP CONCEPT. Visually, our Forest Suite looked like three regular standard rooms connected together.
2. Where is the staircase, the staircase that leads from the first to the second floor?? ? OUTSIDE!!!! ! OUTSIDE!! ! And even worse is the fact that the stairs are not even finished and without railings!!!! ! Now, if you just think about the fact that you come to rest with a child in this room according to the VIP CONCEPT and understand that every daytime sleep should be accompanied by the fact that you need to get dressed, put on shoes and go out with the child, go upstairs, to the 2nd floor, and probably stay there. Because you can’t leave your own child there for sure (if you have such a super staircase outside and without railings).
3. Garbage that was near the room.
I think it is unacceptable to have this garbage in a luxury hotel...
4. In the room, upon arrival, apparently as welcome - there were sweets that stuck to the plate. Apparently, they have already been very, very many days, and maybe months.
5. For this type of room - Forest Suite (which works according to the VIP CONCEPT - LUJO EDITION ), designed for 6 persons - upon arrival there was one bottle of wine and not a single glass!!! ! There was only one glass for water, in addition to everything - there was no opener either (((
6. There were problems with water in the sink, the smell of dampness in the shower and problems with the sewerage.
7. Air conditioners on the 2nd floor DID NOT FUNCTION IN THE RIGHT MODE!!! ! And the workers daily tried to fix these malfunctions and were constantly in our room, which was annoying and unnerving. And, WHAT is the MOST interesting or terrible thing, that before our departure the problems with the air conditioner were not fixed (((And!!!!
eight.
Not having your own place on the beach is an out of the ordinary situation. We purchased the VIP concept, hoping for all the declared points, because in other hotels the VIP concept corresponded to the declared level, and what was our surprise when the hotel staff told us that there were no places on their own beach. And all the days our family safely rested on the public beach!!! ! Occupying sun loungers, sometimes the required number of sun loungers simply was not (((
9. The problem with electronic keys was all the days while the rest lasted. The staff gave us 6 electronic keys, of which only 2 worked. It was disgusting that in order to open the doors on the first and second floors, we had to run through the heat with six identical keys.
10. The escalator from the 4 days we went to the beach, minus 2 days, was out of order.
11. Kitchen! Restaurants!
For a long time we have not heard such that in Turkey, in a luxury hotel of the All Inclusive level, chocolate ice cream and red apples have run out !! ! This is exactly what happened in Lujo (((at the request to fry Buffalo wings for dinner - it turned out that in the whole hotel (in all Ala cards) they also ended. Of the 7 days spent in this hotel, the menu of the VIP restaurant had a dish called "Soup of the Day" Every day we hoped that "Soup of the Day" would deign to change, but the whole holiday it remained lentil soup. In addition, 50% of the dishes left much to be desired.
Tired of such a "VIP vacation" they asked to find seats on the plane and fly home earlier!!! ! And, mind you, they were ready to fly back in economy class (there were no business seats available on the date of their departure).
All these points are more or less listed - and were recorded by representatives of the Lujo hotel itself. They agreed with all of the above, but it didn't get any better!
Only on the last day we found a place on our beach.
It was the hardest.. .
In fact, the Hotel is very decent, stylish, it offers incredible views... The sand on the white beach is very beautiful.
We are very satisfied with the hotel. The only, but very big Minus of Lujo Bodrum at the moment is the Service! There are some issues with the service. We hope that measures will be taken and then the rest in Lujo will be as comfortable as possible!
