Single men are accommodated in the hotel, these are 60% of the total number of guests and mainly the local population. It is impossible to sleep in the hotel, there is no sound insulation, interesting citizens go crazy until 4-5 in the morning, while the tour operator does not warn that this type of accommodation is allowed in the hotel. In a word, apart from the sea, there is nothing to do in this hotel, badoooo. . .
I am with two children aged 5 and 14 and a friend with two children aged 2 and 10.
The numbers are 1222 and 1223.
In general, we were satisfied with the rest and the hotel.
Pros:
Territory - specific, green, beautiful, well-groomed.
Number - on the second attempt gave a good room with a sea view. Everything worked in the room, the bed was changed several times a week, towels were changed daily. The mini-bar was replenished daily (water with and without soda, coca cola, fanta, beer).
Food and drinks - everything suited us, we were not hungry, but due to quarantine measures, there were queues for omelettes and grills in the main restaurant. Orange juice for breakfast, packaged juices (which is important for children), local alcohol at the level and imported with a huge selection (for whom this is important - this is a big plus for a hotel with an ultra all system).
A la carte restaurants (fish and Italian) - excellent service and menu, beyond praise! You need to sign up at the guest relay at 9 am, later there are no more free places.
Snack bar (on the territory of the Italian restaurant from 12 to 17) - it is more comfortable to dine in it than in the main restaurant, you order from the menu and everything is brought, without queues. The range of dishes is wide, there are ready-made salads of 2 types, delicious burgers, pizza, pasta (asked for children without tomato sauces - no problem).
Confectionery near the fish restaurant - very tasty ice cream, highly recommend!
Coffee in the main restaurant is not very tasty, but you can order grain and Turkish coffee in the lobby and coffee shop.
Ice cream at the beach bar - a huge selection for every taste.
Good kids club, kids were happy.
Of the entertainment, a big plus is free billiards and tennis.
Good gym - clean, everything worked. For the first time on vacation, I went in for sports, while the children were sleeping in the morning.
Minuses:
The room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke from the air conditioner. Complained by the guest relay, we hope that they will fix it.
Our room overlooked the roof of an Italian restaurant and often smelled strongly of burning, especially on the last night it was unbearable. They also complained and promised to check with honey. representative. We hope everything gets fixed.
Guest relay - about nothing, there is practically no help from them, they don’t speak Russian and they hardly understand English, but we don’t know Turkish.
They didn’t find the lost things, maybe they didn’t look for them (shorts flew off the balcony, they forgot their cap in the lobby - they didn’t find anything and didn’t return it).
There is practically no animation, in the evening they arranged karaoke or a quiz several times, but it didn’t work for us, we didn’t go. There was no mini disco.
Water park - unpretentious 2 slides, went there a couple of times, the older children did not go.
The biggest negative is Anex. It is only important for Anex representatives to sell excursions at a higher price, the rest is not their responsibility and do not expect help.
They hide behind insurance that will not work if you do not go on an excursion with Anex, this is a scam.
More cons were not found : )
Satisfied with the rest and the hotel! We would go again to Asteria - yes, with pleasure!
There is not enough staff. Everywhere is very dirty: elevators, stairs, tables - everything is covered with stains of unknown origin.
Rooms are miserable. If you do not have a sea view, then there is nothing to do but sleep. The furniture is old, battered, shabby. Huge gaps in the doors, through which local animals can get to visit you (for example, we had a lizard, ants and a cockroach). Channel 1 is Russian, the rest are not ours. The refrigerator almost does not work, so barely, the temperature is a couple of degrees lower than outside.
The toilet bowl makes water bad, it was necessary to press the button 10 times for the water to go).
And probably the main "highlight" of the room is the presence of a joint door with a neighbor's room, you can visit if someone is bored or listen to who is doing what at the moment.
There are a lot of sea urchins on the beach in the water, don't go without slippers!
The piers are closed with a fence, they did not work.
The only place we spent time was the main pool, but that's not what we came here for, was it?
There are some pluses, but they really could not smooth out all the negative points, alas! (the city is nearby, the minibar replenishment is good daily, the bathroom was clean and thanks for that, the Internet catches everywhere and is free).
This hotel is overpriced. This is not Turkey, but at best Berdyansk, or something...
Location: Located in the Gumbet area, 10 minutes by taxi or dolmush to the center of Bodrum. There is also a place to go out, not far from the shopping street and the residential area of Bodrum, who wants to see the local color, everything is fine. I especially recommend taking a free bike (there is one in Asteria, but they don’t advertise it, you have to ask yourself) and ride around the neighborhood. You can go to the mills, you can look at once and the view of the sea is very beautiful.
Territory: in the style of a Greek town, very cool and green. One large pool near the main restaurant and a pool with slides near the beach. Bars are everywhere where they are needed. The beach is wide and spacious, there is also a great pier from which you can jump into the water.
Number: we were on the right of the main building on the second line from the road. The number is in excellent condition, there is nothing to complain about. The mini bar is large and replenished every day. This also applies to shampoo and soap accessories, the wife said that they were also of good quality.
Meals: 10 out of 10. Large selection and excellent quality, it makes no sense to describe everything, as in the best Antalya fives. There were salmon steaks every day. For breakfast they give bacon (! ), freshly squeezed juice, there is baby food in jars. The waiters in the main restaurant are efficient, for tea even more frisky)
Local and imported alcohol, almost all popular types within reasonable limits, you don’t need to beg for anything, they pour it without problems. For a dollar of tea, you also get a smile as a gift)). Turkish restaurant liked, Italian not so much.
Animation Entertainment was a couple of times in the amphitheater, not a bad show is far from the collective farm level.
Contingent: 80% Germans and British, the rest Russia and Ukraine.
In summary: great hotel, great location.
The hotel is excellent - it is clear that the network, trying to keep the brand. Clean, comfortable, beautiful.
Settled as it should be at 14-00, Standard room in Land View, clean, comfortable, everything works properly. It was convenient that they settled on the first floor - as we were with a stroller. Beds and towels were changed, cleaned well, mini-bar and means of walking replenished. A playpen-bed was brought even without request.
Staff: smiling, friendly and quite a lot of employees, when fully loaded, they manage to do everything. Sometimes it's a hassle to change tablecloths and set tables in the main restaurant.
Food: tasty and very tasty, varied, I think I didn’t even try everything. For breakfast, you can make fresh, there is filter coffee, coffee from machines, fruits, an abundance of cheeses, olives, vegetables. Different types of eggs, pancakes. There is a separate corner for vegetarians, a children's corner (with canned purees, cereals and a blender), steam dishes.
In addition to the main restaurant, you can also dine in a Turkish and Italian restaurant. Very tasty and nice service. A la carte restaurants 3 - Italian, Turkish and fish. Everywhere was - everything is fine! Ice cream is delicious, in a Turkish cafe - by weight, on the beach a la carte, but very good Algida.
The views from the hotel are beautiful, there is where to walk on the territory. There are steps, elevators and descents. Everywhere walked with a stroller without problems.
Animation and mini club are good, it is important that everything that happens in the hotel does not interfere with the rest. Music from the amphitheater is not heard on the territory, for example. Only music from a neighboring hotel can interfere.
The beach and the sea are different, there is an entrance to the sea with sand, there are stones, there is even a small piece of pebbles. Clean and refreshing, you quickly get used to it. Children 5 years and 7 months swam with a bang.
Convenient location: you can get into the city, swim in Greece or just relax in the hotel itself.
There is enough entertainment for everyone, both children and youth and adults.
Thanks for a wonderful vacation! I'll be back again.
Rooms are cleaned regularly and on the top five) Guest relation is responsive, they will always help to solve any problem.
Check in was fast even though we arrived at 7 am. I didn't have to wait for dinner. The food in the restaurant is beyond praise. There were theme days - Turkish cuisine, Mexican cuisine and seafood day. There is always enough of everything, there were practically no queues in the dining room. In the morning - orange juice. Alcohol of high quality, imported. Only local beer.
The kids club is very interesting, children's animators do a lot with the kids. In a word, it was difficult to get a 6-year-old child out of the club.
The animation team deserves a special THANK YOU. Interesting shows, lots of entertainment throughout the day.
The only negative, perhaps, is that the wi-fi is rather weak. Not everywhere catches and the signal quality is not very good. Video communication did not pull. But we came for the rest and it was not a problem
Disadvantages: There were not always enough sun loungers near the pool (but according to observations, it is the people who are to blame, not the hotel, they will borrow both by the sea and by the pool and go back and forth). The rooms have very poor sound insulation, the neighbors knew by voice)). In my opinion, there are no more shortcomings.
I highly recommend)
We lived in it from 06/03/2018 to 06/05/2018 as part of a promotional tour.
3 a la carte, you can visit 1 bp for 7 days of stay at the hotel.
There is a bp water park, 2 slides, it is very convenient that it is right by the sea.
Mini bar bp every day.
7 bars on the territory, the lobby is open around the clock, where the bartender makes chic cocktails and brews exceptional Turkish coffee.
Wi-Fi bp in the lobby and rooms of good quality. There are evening animation shows and a disco.
The hotel is all made with terraces, not everywhere you can reach by elevator. People with sore feet should not go there!
Because there are places where you climb up the hill.
The rooms are normal, clean, moderately spacious, the bathroom has a shower, everything works. Water from the shower leaks onto the floor, but this is in many hotels with such a shower.
We lived in standards, if you take them, keep in mind that the rooms are clean, but they have not been repaired and replaced furniture for a long time. And a lot of mosquitoes, but this is easily solved by calling the reception. It is enough to call and ask for a fumigator.
The territory is clean, beautiful, in the form of streets at different levels.
The staff is very helpful, a lot of fights (boys), who carry out and inform, and help open the door, very polite. It is very comfortable to communicate with the staff, they serve with a sincere smile so that you relax from such care. In the lobby bar around the clock, the bartender makes chic Turkish coffee.
Freshly squeezed orange juice for breakfast. The food at the hotel is just amazing. This is the first time in my entire seven years of experience in tourism that they give meat in French for breakfast.
Meat, fish, fruits, vegetables in such an assortment that the eyes run wide.
The beach at the hotel is big enough not to be jostled by back points. The entrance is gentle, sandy, artificially filled. Further stones, as indeed on all the beaches of this region.
I would definitely go to the hotel to rest with great pleasure. Thank you all for your attention, write questions and comments, I will answer with pleasure.
Now about the tour operator who sent us from Moscow. It was Anex Tour. Arriving in Bodrum and leaving the airport, an inconspicuous girl was waiting for us with an A4 piece of paper on which anex was written. We were the only tourists from this tour operator. They took us to the minibus, the girl does not speak Russian, only English, handed us a huge envelope and we silently drove to the hotel. On the envelope, we saw the name of the tourist who met us - Pinesulla, and the date and time of the meeting with the hotel guide. The meeting was to take place on the same day at 14:00. We arrived at the hotel in 30 minutes (about 12.30), the room was not yet ready, and we went to dinner, after dinner we were handed the keys to the room. Having safely thrown our suitcases into the room (about the hotel and the room below), we went to the hall to meet the guide at 13.55. When we got to the lobby, we didn't find anyone there. We waited 30 minutes - no one (I will notice a small child with us, who was difficult to persuade to sit on a chair). The hotel does not speak Russian, only English (unfortunately we know it very poorly) it makes no sense to contact someone. And lo and behold, a Russian Pegasus guide is sitting. We turned to her for help (thank you very much Julia!!!! ). We gave her our guide's phone number and asked her to call. She phoned her, told her that Russian tourists were waiting for her, she answered her that the car would break down in 30 minutes. Another 40 minutes of waiting iiiii- NO ONE!!! ! We call her ourselves, in broken English yell)))) she says sorry for another 10 minutes. Of course, after 10 minutes she did not come, but showed up only after 30 minutes. The result of 2 hours spent in the lobby with a small child. And then our queen appeared, in a shirt with the Pinesulla logo. She smiles and begins to speak English, we goggle-eyed and tell her that we do not speak English, she answers sorry with a shrug. Silent scene. And we didn’t put an extra bed in our room, we didn’t have a third towel, etc. , i. e. questions that needed to be resolved at the reception with the help of a guide - decide for yourself! We are in total shock! Never in our lives will we go away from the annex again and we do not advise our friends.
Now about the hotel. The hotel is great. Very big hotel and big area. Due to the fact that Bodrum and the Aegean Sea are mountains, mountains and again mountains, the buildings are located, as it were, in a cascade (very beautiful). To the sea you will need to overcome a large staircase (by the way, there is an elevator in the nooks and crannies). The room is standard, everything in the room is like everywhere else, the only thing is that yellow small ants are found in the ottoman and armchair, on the first day the child was bitten very badly. After the examination and the discovery of the anthill, the ottoman and chair were safely thrown onto the balcony, where the ants were fried)))) (although this is still unacceptable for the top five !!! ). The food was great!!! ! They cleaned up well. Two hills. The pool is big. All animation is in English. There were only 3 Russian families in the whole hotel, the rest were English, Dutch, French, Azerbaijanis and a lot of Turks. The sand is entering the sea, but there are also stones, both large and small, in principle, the entry is not ice. There is no open sea, only bays and bays. Lying on the beach, you will observe the port, with ships and yachts (at least 30 pieces) and with all the consequences.
In principle, the holiday was a success. We looked at Bodrum, it was time to buy in the Aegean Sea to move on))))). Have a good holiday everyone!! !
