The distance from Kusadasi to Dalyan is about 250 km, so we left at 10-30, on the way we decided to stop by Marmaris, see where our friends rest, see the city itself, the beaches. view of the GÖ kova Bay and the valley, mountains in the distance, behind which is Marmaris (photo attached). Quite a cozy town, not fussy, although there are a lot of vacationers on the beach, but not like on the Ladies' Beach in Kusadasi, driving in the center is much easier, sellers in shops are mostly Ukrainians or Russians, as in many places in Turkey, vacationers are also from there. We bought a souvenir with a magnet and moved on. In order not to forget, I’ll say right away that since 2013 you need to pay for travel on roads (not everyone) a little differently than before - the entrance to the road through the barrier is free, and at the first exit you need to go to the post office (PTT), fill out a questionnaire, provide a passport and a registration certificate, pay 35 lira - you will be given a receipt stub and a sticker on the windshield - everything, full speed ahead, barriers throughout Turkey will open by themselves (I don’t remember how many times, but at least 10 - for sure), before it was necessary to apply a plastic map.

After 40 km we saw Koycegiz Lake, which means that it is only 55 km to Dalyan, we indicated the coordinates in the navigator - and after 40 minutes we were near the Onder Pansiyon guest house, the owner was right next to us, looking in surprise at the car numbers, apparently earlier I haven’t seen such people (for all trips to Turkey, we met cars with Ukrainian numbers only three times and nothing more). Pointing to a parking space, he brought things into the room, offered to have a bite to eat, asked if he needed anything, introduced him to his wife and daughters, and politely left. He speaks English perfectly, unlike us, but I tried to communicate in Turkish, which pleased him, but made him laugh more. The hotel has only six rooms, small, but equipped and clean, there is no TV and that's great, two huge refrigerators in the common area. In addition to us, Danes, Dutch, Canadians and Turks rested, Russian speech was heard in Dalyan once. The town is small, compact, clean, well-equipped - there are many cafes, restaurants, all kinds of shops, prices are reasonable, people are friendly. In the morning - to the IZTUZU beach, which is 12 km away, but you can get there without problems and without a car, the road goes past huge pomegranate gardens, lakes and mountains through a couple of villages, entry to the beach costs 5 lire, an umbrella and two sunbeds - 15 lira per all day, there is a cafe, changing room, shower. The beach is great, but not the best we've been to.

In the morning, at 5-00, having my fishing rods, I decided to go fishing - the river is ten meters from the room. Immediately the float disappeared under water - dorado about 300 gr. - and so ten times in a row, when the sun appeared, the bite was gone. He showed his wife the catch and released the fish into the river, to which everyone was very surprised. If you know how, you can catch a blue crab, but why? In local restaurants, all this will be served to you ready-made - you can’t drag it by the ears! There was also a boat trip along the Dalyan River and Lake Koycegiz with a stop in Sultaniye, where everyone for 5 liras was given the opportunity to get dirty in the mud (they say it is curative) and wash themselves in the shower for free, dip their feet in an aquarium with fish - pedicurists. The places are very beautiful, clean - we really liked it, it's a pity that we were there only three nights. Tomorrow we will go to Patara (Gelemysh). I advise everyone to visit Dalyan!
