Be careful! This part contains many balloons on one area of your screen! ; ))
Day 6. At four o'clock in the morning we are picked up from the hotel. We go to the launch site of balloons. The strange thing was that we did not go where we were the first time. That is, the place of launch is not permanent, but constantly changing?
It's not hot outside, to say the least. So you are sleepy and sometimes frostbitten, but hope is hot, so I warm up with it))
In addition to special platform vehicles, baskets for tourists are brought.
And while the process of inspection and testing of equipment continues, let's run through the theoretical part. A balloon is an aircraft that uses the lifting force of heated air to fly.
On September 19.1783, a sheep, a duck, and a rooster became the first passengers in a balloon that rose 6.000 feet above the ground and landed safely. And on November 21 of the same year, 1783, the first manned flight with people took place.
The Montgolf brothers lifted a 500-foot paper and silk balloon from the very center of Paris and landed it a few miles in the vineyards.
As local farmers were very suspicious of the "fire dragon" that came down from the sky, the pilots offered champagne for reconciliation and celebration. Since then, the tradition of drinking champagne after the flight is firmly entrenched in balloons. Figure here .
>
The history of balloons in Cappadocia dates back to the 1980s. The first balloons were launched by Raks as part of its own advertising campaign. The Turkish Air Navigation Association looked at them, pondered, scratched the turnips and decided not to graze the rear ones, ordering the first balloons and starting to train pilots.
The first company to offer commercial flights to tourists was registered in 1991.
And since then it has started)) In general, the Turks tried to launch air tourism in other regions of the country, but the tradition has taken root only in Cappadocia, in fact becoming its calling card.
First, the cylinders are heated with a pair of powerful fans and a conventional heat gun. And only when the ball is already sufficiently filled with warm air, connect the gas burner, which instantly puts the balloon in flight mode.
The size of the basket can accommodate from 16 to 28 passengers. There were 16 of us. All of them were evenly stuffed and stuffed in six compartments. The captain of the aircraft was located in the center.
Next is the safe landing training: everyone should sit on the floor of the basket, face to one side and firmly grasp the rope-handrail.
And while we are being distributed and taught, the neighbors are gradually starting to take off. Aaaaaa, betrayal! ! ! ! ! And why aren't we still flying? ! ! ))
Oh, how can we not fly when we are already flying! While we looked at the neighbors, we did not feel like we flew smoothly. Yuhuuu!
Then the morning silence was broken only by enthusiastic howls and polyphonic knocks of camera shutters of all brands and models. There are three of us in our department - me and a couple of Indians. It's a bit crowded, but we found a common language, synchronously with our droplet))
The battalion is constantly rotating, lowering and rising so that all passengers have equal opportunities to admire the scenery.
We look at the valleys we have already walked and are still waiting for our brave conquerors.
The sun hints at its rapid emergence. Pink reflections on the rocks and sky. Light morning fog. Brain, can you tattoo this picture forever in my memory?
Let's fly. Let's go. We contemplate. We enjoy.
Another million photos are being prepared to spread on social networks))
Valley of Love-2. This is the one closest to Goreme and where we walked the first day.
>
Can you turn your head 360 °? Do not rush to answer without flying in a balloon))
Flying balloons on the ground is no less fascinating than ours.
The sun is already shining in full. We do near the landing site and go to the landing.
>
The flight lasted about an hour. Aerobatics is considered to be landing by the captain of his aircraft exactly on the platform car. But there was an idea to it - the misdirected ball was turned into a cross towards Kapadokya Balloons, who was waiting for it in the box.
Champagne is poured on the ground.
Unfortunately, the Turks use the non-alcoholic version, so do not start the day in the status of full-fledged aristocrats.
Also, each of the newcomers receives a certificate confirming our already unforgettable flight.
>
So what? For the realization of dreams! And the author of these lines, and all readers of the Cappadocian story (which, however, will not reach its finale : ))
Although, maybe that champagne was not so non-alcoholic, because the inner photographer began to find quite unusual angles))
Emotions are already covered in the hotel. I want to dance, sing and shout something out loud. This boundless happiness of a true dream needs a way out, because if I do not give it freedom, it is ready to tear me to a million happy pieces. I sing in a stupid voice ...
and I fly in the boat, and so calmly meniiiii ...and send my million photos to friends and relatives: ))
