Traveled with my husband and 3 year old. The ticket was bought to the Maya Golf hotel in Side, but since overbooking is common in the Maya hotel chain, they offered to move to Belek, since there were supposedly no places in Golf (then why confirm the reservation... ). We and another family agreed and left together (not for free). Everything would be fine if they didn’t pick up an infection and miraculously didn’t shock the child (therefore service 2)....more on that below.
Territory:
Outwardly and initially I liked the hotel, at the reception and in the restaurant it’s beautiful, artificial leather sofas, tables. On the very territory there are two adult pools and two children's pools (once swam with a child, my husband more often), there are slides (but we did not ride), a small waterfall. The territory itself is also not bad, green, beautiful, but small, lemons and oranges grow.
Nutrition:

Here I liked the food, a large selection, delicious, always stew with vegetables or chicken, fish, also grilled meat on the street. There are many vegetables, but the quality of their washing is questionable. From the fruits were watermelons (often unripe pieces, although I found juicy), melons the same story, oranges, grapefruits, grapes or plums. In the morning there is milk porridge. Tea is delicious from teapots, coffee from vending machines.

We were given a room with three separate beds, but since we were very tired, we didn’t ask to change the room, we just connected them. The room itself is ordinary, the air conditioner hangs very badly, in the bathroom there was rust near the shower-bath (I don’t know what to call it), although the sink was also not very tidy and not comfortable, well, okay, closed your eyes. Initially, the door to the bathroom did not close and the flush in the toilet did not work well, they told the reception, they immediately came and fixed everything. On the balcony, the air conditioner was very noisy, when the neighbors came and turned it on, some masters came twice, but did not fix the situation. The room was cleaned superficially.
Beach:

The beach itself is beautiful, sand, but they don’t clean it very much, if at all) Gobies are constantly lying around there and glass can be found (the girl cut her leg on the glass)... local Turks also come to relax on the beach, which we didn’t like terribly, come in, who you want, passage yard. The beach itself has a large coastline, the sunset, in principle, is not bad, a bit of pebbles, it’s even pleasant for the feet. The sea is not very calm, there are almost always waves, because of this, the water near the coast is unclear. A bus without windows drives to the beach, according to the schedule (I will attach a photo), the young driver drives carefully, and the older driver does not drive carefully, when we drove from the beach, he crashed into a car, broke her headlight and drove on as if nothing had happened) Our bus is really the oldest, compared to other hotels. You can walk, but for 20-30 minutes, once walked, it's beautiful, a lot of greenery, there are coniferous trees, from which there is a fresh aroma in the morning. Also on the beach is a terrible shower that works intermittently, we watered with a hose). There is a bar on the beach, open from 10.00 to 16.30, the door to the women's toilet on the beach did not close. And indeed, they don’t turn on music on the beach, except for volleyball there is no animation (but for me it’s better, you can relax in peace).

After the mini-disco with the child, they went to the room, and opposite the vitamin bar, the child grabbed, as we first thought, a branch sticking out of the grass, and it flared up, everything seems to be in order with the child, they called the manager, he told us “Sorry”, I say call us a doctor, the child needs to be examined, because it is not clear whether it was shocked or not, the action of the current can affect in a few hours. What was refused, only in the morning, not now, I say then take us to the hospital, also refused, as a result, the conversation turned into swearing, not even with the manager himself, but with the guy from the vitamin bar (like he is still an animator), he was like a translator for us, as the manager does not speak Russian very well. I don’t know who this guy thought he was, but he was very rude and not friendly. As a result, they took us to the hospital in the hotel car, paid the deductible, looked at us, took a cardiogram, said everything was fine, the current did not hurt. To go to the hospital 10 minutes, why was this swearing is not clear! Here is the question, what does a bare live wire do on the grass, where a lot of kids run around ????
The second unpleasant situation: at the end of the vacation, my son and I picked up an infection, we suffered with our stomachs for two days, we observed hygiene, we always washed our hands before eating and treated with an antiseptic, we couldn’t overheat either, it turns out we picked it up either at sea or through poorly washed vegetables, fruits . Two days later, on the day of departure, my husband also fell ill, tormented all the way. In addition to us, several other families had the same problems, one girl vomited right on the beach....Rotovirus or what it is, I don’t know... And I wrote this in the VK hotel group, where my posts about the infection are quickly deleted... It means to be afraid.

To go to this hotel or not, it's up to you. But I will not recommend MAYA hotels to my friends. If you are ready for a possible overbooking, then take a chance. Since some from Belek are sent to Side, and the price tag is different for them not in the direction of Side.
