In general, the hotel seems to have animators, but it seems not). There are no declared sports events, mini-football or football (tour operators have it). There is a sign on the field, its meaning is this: it is forbidden to go out, we are restoring the lawn. Well, at least not the coronavirus. There is also no water polo. The disco is announced from 22:30, but it is not there either. There is a hall, in the open air, outwardly not bad. I'm not a dancer, but it would not be bad to come in for 10-15 minutes, depending on the mood. But if tour operators have a disco declared, but in fact it doesn’t exist, this is a cunning approach of the hotel administration.
I won't write about the little things. Let me tell you, they are. As for the pros - it's your good mood, the sea, the sun, swimming pools, a well-functioning air conditioner in the room, a 30-minute transfer from the airport, clean, green, well cleaned. Nutritionally strong, strong good. When asked if I would go to this hotel again, I answer: no, I did not go. Not next time, not this time, but nothing will change. You will have to continue to eat, sleep and entertain yourself and your child yourself.
1. The check-in went quickly, as we stopped at 13.00. But when the bungalow was not fully occupied, they asked for the 2nd floor (to be the top one), we were "driven" to the 3rd floor and directly looking at the animation zones, which are now until 24.00, and the air conditioner works right under the window loudly!
in the voucher it was indicated and they asked for a quiet place themselves (were ready to pay extra) - they don’t give a damn. They came on July 3 again, having suffered in the evenings. They waved it off and only (the girl at the reception).
There is practically no animation during the day - no exercises, no water entertainment, practically nothing. But in the evening here - kapets for rest until 24.00. They said: "Now there is an epidemic, otherwise they would have endured it until 2 am. "
Why the hotel is declared as a family - it is not clear!
2. There are no comments on food. Just enough and varied. I was surprised by the paid a la carte, but declared as free.
3. Sea - the entrance is a pebble into which "a foot falls through. "
The beach is not cleaned.
The problem with sunbeds, as you can take as many towels as you want.
Therefore, the same people occupy many places near the pools and at the sea.
Put things in order!! ! This is a hotel - 5, as you wrote, and not a private sector!
4. The sun loungers on the beach are plastic, not new with mesh, as in neighboring hotels - in the absence of foam mattresses - unpleasant!
We decided to take a tent for 50 euros, so the whole day is exactly where people lie, lay new paths and dig in new tents! Although only 3 out of 10 are in demand.
Why not start work where there are no people (few tents are rented), and here, where it is rented, not continue in the evening or tomorrow?!
In general, management should be professional and take into account such moments.
We have never seen such a disgrace in the service, of course we will not come to the hotel again and will not recommend it.
As a result, the choice fell on Limak Arcadia and Belkonti. Both hotels are "old", a huge plus of which is their chic green area (which is not found in newer hotels) and close proximity to the center of Belek (15 minutes walk), but the minus is the old number of rooms.
After reviewing the reviews and photos, we chose Belconti.
However, after reading about the old number of rooms, in order not to get into such a "trash", we immediately booked a deluxe room with a sea view 2 adults + 1 child through the tour operator. We booked in early February (early booking), which later played a cruel joke on us.
Having paid the money and received confirmation of the reservation, we calmly prepared for the vacation. Planned trips to Pamukkale, Aquarium of Antilia, Side, Land of Legends. . .
So. Check-in went quickly and without unnecessary nervousness. Everything was great. The lobby of the hotel is very beautiful, with a bar, a magnificent terrace, even two rare cars were placed!
We were given 2 room key cards and 3 pool towel cards. Also, red tags were tied on the arm, which meant a VIP guest (ULTRA ALL INCLUSIVE - "standard" guests were tied with green tags) and issued a memo about what is included in this very ULTRA ALL INCLUSIVE. Much to my disappointment, this package included everything that is included in a simple all inclusive. The only exception was a plate of fruit and a small bottle of wine in the room (a one-time compliment from the hotel), as well as a "bonus" of 30 minutes of massage for two (one-time) in the hotel's SPA Center and a tent on the beach for the entire stay at the hotel ( for mere mortals, renting a tent is around 10 euros per day). Everything else (food, drinks, paid La Carte restaurants) - as in a regular all-inclusive package. We never got a massage - in the SPA Center they explained to us that this was by appointment the day before the visit, and due to our frequent trips, it was difficult to plan the time. Yes, and there was no particular desire.
ROOM "Deluxe" №1403 - the main disappointment. That's where we got paid off with an early (slightly cheaper) booking!
Main disadvantages:
1. Small number - standard size.
2. Small balcony
3. Old furniture, battered by previous guests, but intact and it is clear that it was once expensive.
4. Old electrical appliances - a hair dryer (made of plastic yellow from old age, stopped working as soon as it warmed up - they let it cool), LCD TV (the screen did not always turn on - there was sound, but there was no picture), central air conditioning (or rather, its remote control console - is about to fall off the wall, and switching modes is extremely inconvenient).
5. Gray (no longer white) from old age and not always clean towels - changed every day. We did not touch the two bathrobes that were in the room.
6. Old but clean bedding.
The only update of the room was obviously a new carpet, because. its chemical smell lingered from the room for a long time - the windows were open all the time. The hotel has refurbished standard rooms which were better than our deluxe.
But the view from the windows is superb! Large green, blooming territory, two swimming pools, slides, and you can see the sea. . . Another plus was the daily replenishment of bathroom cosmetics, which had a wide choice.
They didn’t try to change the number right away, because. settled in the evening and had to feed the child for dinner.
After dinner in the main restaurant of the hotel and an evening walk through its magnificent territory, upon returning to the room, we were in for a shock:
Live music that played in the bar under the windows and the voices of the guests in the bar were so loud that it was impossible to sleep in the room! And if you close all the windows and the balcony door - you suffocated from the smell of the carpet! HOW IS IT POSSIBLE TO ACCOMMODATE GUESTS WITH A CHILD OVER THE DISCO?? ? The hotel knew in advance that we would be with a child (the extra bed was already ready)!
So we tried to fall asleep until 12 o'clock at night, until the disco under the windows ended.
The next day, together with a guide from the tour operator, we turned to the reception with a request to change the room, to which we received an answer that we should have had a room overlooking the garden anyway (it is cheaper) and that all the others are occupied, and one of the free ones next to the sea view and two with a garden view.
HOW?? ? The hotel was then filled with a maximum of 50%!! ! The left wing of the hotel, where there is no bar music, almost did not shine at all... And after May 9, it was already full of people!
In general, having achieved nothing, we decided not to scandal, not to spoil our vacation and adapt to the local schedule...
When it rained in the evening, it was possible to sleep in the room without problems, and when it didn’t rain, they danced themselves at that disco until 12 at night, it’s good that my daughter really liked it. In general, they reacted to this with a positive)))
A little about food: according to the memo, the hotel has a central restaurant, bars scattered around the hotel (it's free for everyone), and La Carte restaurants for 7 euros per person. We never found the latter (apparently, they were not put into operation in early May).
The food is basically the same, no frills. There was almost no seafood (except for fried trout, mackerel and fish stew without a name). There were delicious grilled dishes. With fruits, it’s a real problem - slicing oranges, bananas, grapefruits and apples. Strawberries were only in the form of decorations on sweets in the form of cakes and cakes. Upon arrival home in Odessa, we managed to overeat strawberries the very next day! Ice cream (2 types) was given out from 16:00 to 17:00. Local chefs tried to cook as many dishes as possible from a meager set of products. And they probably succeeded. On arrival I gained +2 kg.
There are dietary dishes, yoghurts and milk porridges. The child always has something to eat.
Alcohol is mostly local. There is an imported one - only in the lobby bar and not everything is free. Fortunately, we did not come here for this and we did not experience problems with alcohol (beer, Irish cream and wine).
The waiters are always friendly and welcoming!
Purity:
The cleanliness of the hotel and its territory is excellent! Local gardeners, janitors, maids, waiters and cooks are trying their best.
Animation:
There is always something to do in the hotel. In the kids club, the child will definitely not be bored. Animators (Anna and a Turkish girl (I forgot the name)) are at their best. A big plus is the aviary with rabbits and turtles roaming freely around the hotel. Lizards warmed themselves on the stones. . . Well, in the evening - a children's disco! Daughter was delighted))
Various competitions, games and quizzes were organized for adults. Or you could work out in the gym or on the street - Pilates, step, etc.
Many thanks to Katya and Eldar for what you are doing!
Evening animation - also on top! Every evening, if it didn't rain, the hotel's theater stage put on great shows!
Beach: clean. It looks like it's being removed. In early May, there are enough sun loungers for everyone. Towels, as well as near the pools, are old, worn out and not always clean.
We were given a tent for free, which is part of the Ultra all inclusive, but the farthest from the sea - in order to get to the sea, we had to go through 2 more rows of such tents. Apparently, they decided to humiliate us on this as well. we made an early booking and paid less than the rest. . .
But then again - we did not bother about this, because. they rarely went to the sea (we also have it) - they mostly went on excursions.
The pools are clean and not heated. The smell of chlorine is present, but not fatal.
So, conclusions:
Minuses:
1. Inadequate hotel policy towards guests in terms of providing decent service at the reception and rooms. Cancel then early booking! If there was a question of price, I would pay extra.
2. The result of the first point is an inadequate policy of differentiating guests from Europe and guests from post-Soviet countries. Why are tables reserved for Germans from standard (judging by the green tags on their hands) rooms, they are served by waiters, bringing any alcohol and bringing any food instead of a buffet?? ? Why are they given better quality towels near the pools and at the sea? Etc....
3. Old rooms, towels and linen.
4. A small assortment in food, especially fruits. How can you not treat guests with strawberries when it is the peak of the season and there are a lot of them!?!!
5. Deluxe rooms and Ultra all inclusive system - do not meet the standards.
Basically, that's all!
There are many more advantages:
- Belconti is a family run hotel.
- Cool, green, blooming, clean area
- The presence of a children's club with animals. Turtles and lizards walking around the territory, a fountain with fish. . .
- Friendly staff. No complaints!
- Clean beach and pools.
- Sea
- Cool animation.
What else do you need for a vacation!
Will I come here again - alas, no, due to the discrepancy between the service and the declared one. Apparently, the owners of the hotel only want to make a profit, not investing much in the development and maintenance of the hotel. It's a pity. But the experience of the hotel is still positive!
For those who want to save money (accommodation prices are average in Belek) and are not experienced in service, but do not want to get into trash - I advise this hotel! Preferably standard rooms.
