rested in Eftalia from April 24.2008 to May 4.2008. in general, they were satisfied with the hotel itself. We traveled with two children - 5 and 6 years old. lived in a double room. Regarding the view from the window, there are no complaints, despite the fact that we could see the entire territory - both the pools and the main building of the hotel and a piece of wasteland with a construction site. when traveling with children - very convenient - you go out to the balcony, the whole territory is in full view, everything is under control. construction did not interfere. we even wondered how quickly the Turks were building - when we arrived in front of the main entrance there were only frames, a week later the shops were almost ready to open there. everything was done quietly and imperceptibly. there is plenty of greenery on the territory of the hotel, of course, not like in Caretta nearby, but quite normal. 4 pools of different depths. The water park slides are great! the water in the pools is very clean.
There are always enough places everywhere. the only exception is the lobby during "rush hour" around 11pm. alternative - tables outside. during the day there are also full houses around the pool, but you definitely won’t be left without a place. sun loungers and mattresses on them - clean, nothing broken there. they clean the territory quickly and efficiently, which cannot be said about the rooms - if you leave the bed unmade, they will clean it, but if you make it, they will simply close the curtains in your room as a sign that the maids have visited. leave a roll of toilet paper, fresh water, change towels - and adyo. dust is not wiped, the floor is not washed. but when the soap ran out, they gave it out in the amount of 3 pieces without any problems. an iron in all of Ephtalia cannot be found during the day with fire. just no. washed everything themselves. on the very first day they stretched out the laces on the balcony (I advise you to take care and not forget. very important! ) - there are no other options for drying towels, swimsuits and washed clothes. as you know - with two children and two adults washing is more than enough. The furniture in the room is decent. the beds are very comfortable. the bed is clean. the disadvantages of the room - hair dryer that stops working 30 seconds after the start (bring your own); shampoo that tangles hair to an insane state (take your own and be sure to use a balm); incredibly alkaline water - does not wash off, there is a feeling of soapiness; lack of a rug in the bathroom (on the second day, the maid laid a snow-white towel instead of a rug, which was changed every other day); in the bathroom, the water drains slowly - when taking a shower, you end up standing 20 cm in the water. in fact - these are trifles, not being nervous on the second day you get used to it.
further - kitchens-bars-restaurants. the director of the entire Eftali catering is a super-intelligent guy. his waiters are well-trained, the bartenders are built. cleaned quickly, served quickly. the problem is neither a broken glass, nor spilled cereal in chocolate milk, nor other accidents and tragedies - everything is solved in just a minute - they immediately clean it up, help to transfer to another table. food in Eftalia is best organized - it resembles an anthill, where everyone has their own role and no one interferes with anyone. queues appear only at the beginning of the distribution of food, and even then because of the eternally hungry Germans, and from time to time in the evening there is a small queue at the bar in the lobby. the queue is about 20 people, I have not seen it again, it is moving very quickly. I say the same - the power supply system is debugged both day and night, simply at the highest level.

about the food itself. sweet a little disappointed and puree soups are also not a topic for kids. didn't like the spinach. the rest is very tasty. the best part is that they don’t impose their own taste - you can mix anything in any proportions, sprinkle with any seasonings you like and pour over with any sauces you like. there are so many sauces and herbs that I never managed to try all the options for watering the salad. there are always a few side dishes, a bunch of stewed vegetables, cheeses, fruits (we found apples and oranges - the beginning of the season, alas). wine during lunch and dinner - at least pour yourself. I didn’t really like it with meat, but it’s an amateur, I guess. there were fish a couple of times; on a Turkish night for dinner, an incredible amount of baked turkeys; sausage - not very much; always eat stew and stew in vegetables. salads just a sea of anything. lunch and dinner are just brilliant. breakfast is more modest. during the day you can make yourself hamburgers and Turkish pancakes - this is if you are late for an organized meal : ) in a word, the biggest problem with food is the lack of at least some utensils in the room. that is, if you brought a watermelon, you will have nothing to cut or spread it on. but according to legend, you can take dishes with you to your room and use as much as you like. we did not have such a need. a. and the lunch bags just suck.
entertainment for children - drawing on the -1 floor during the day, dancing lessons by the stage. mini disco in the evening. mostly they play songs in German, because there are a lot of Germans in the hotel. every night the same songs in the same sequence. adults have a little brains on their side after this mini-disco, but after a week of dancing your child is already such a pro in all these steps, that you can only wonder how, without knowing German, they dance so much in the subject : ) truly, for children - repetition is the mother of learning. but for adults, well, yes... the mother of stuttering : )))
been to the gym several times. I did not like the fact that there is no instructor there. maybe because the gym is always empty. or vice versa? Don't know. We ourselves dealt with all the simulators.
in the indoor pool (fifth) - pretty cool. but it should be so, because this pool is also intended for splashing there after the sauna : )
hamam is incredible! for $ 30 you will be taken care of for two hours like a beloved doll, up to the fact that they take you off a slippery marble table in your arms, wash your hair, wipe it with a towel and wrap it up warmly and send you to a mask and oil massage in such a look stunned by care where another story begins. in a word - go to the hammam without fail and without fail in Eftalia. this is one of the most vivid impressions (I had never been to a hammam before)

animation for adults is not that inspiring. so-so. Well, they shot once from the air. well, I took part in the Miss Eftalia contest, well, we watched a theatrical show on the "Turkish night", went to a disco a couple of times. I don’t know, maybe I’m too demanding on evening entertainment, but the repertoire is rather dull. although, during the competition, Miss Eftalia was driven out there, which is necessary. disco from 11 to -1 floor. the sound sucks, the music is C-grade, after 00.30 - the drinks suddenly become paid, so you won’t be able to really have fun in Eftalia. for dump head recommend to go to Alanya - there is a whole street with clubs and dances. called disco street. It's more fun there, but more expensive, obviously.
in the Internet cafe there is no Cyrillic layout on the clave. they do not mind installing, but they are lazy. I put it on one computer, but I have to type blindly, this is understandable.
two billiard tables, an hour of play - 5 euros, but if the game is not over in an hour - they let you finish playing, no problem.
there is no printer in the Internet cafe, which is extremely surprising. to print an eight-page document on a recipe - 2 bucks. madhouse.
there is a strange room - it's called a TV room - there is a huge TV set and sofas. I saw living people there once - the administrator and manager of the restaurant calmly discussed something in silence. besides them, there is no life there. the same - in the conference room.
if you are really bored - you can go to Konakli or go to Alanya. in addition, there are streets with shops around Eftalia. for a great life, you can get acquainted with the sellers and visit the hookah every evening. only then it would be good not to deceive the expectations of the guys and buy at least something from them. discounted, of course.
walk to the sea just a couple of minutes. I don't understand the trips to the beach. the beach is like a beach. if you want - fry on a sun lounger, if you want - jump off the pier, if you want - blow beer as much as you like.
so, the result: the kitchen is decent, room service is average, the Turkish bath is a tower, bars and a restaurant are excellent, animation is mediocre, a disco is at the level of an ordinary school, shops and a hairdresser in the lobby are a little expensive, it’s better to go to the guys on the way to Caretta (neighboring hotel), territory - I liked it, indoors - I liked it, pools - excellent, Internet - I do not advise.

in general - a pleasant and relaxing holiday, but not for those who are looking for endless fun. I personally know people who got drunk there out of boredom and got into trouble with the local Ephtali police : ) I also know those who said: "It's not boring here. It's lazy here"
if you want comfort and tranquility - go to Eftalia. if you want a break - look for something else. This is about the hotel itself. about excursions and the road from TezTour - another time. this is a different, much sadder and more nervous story.
