Why am I writing? Every time, before I leave, I read hotel reviews on the Turtessa website and questions and answers on the Tur Pravda website. As a result, everything goes without surprises. We went from 13/10/07 to 20/07/10 hotel "Eftalia Resort" 4 * Al. In Turkey, the 1st time, in Egypt was 4 times (hotels 3 + *, 4 *), so I will describe in comparison. I must say right away that I expected more (according to stories about Turkey), but I was still satisfied, because. Everything went off without a hitch or complaint. We were lucky with the weather. Air temperature 27-30, water about 25.
Territory. As such, no (I repeat, in comparison with Egypt). Swimming pools, around them a place for sunbeds. A small area between the pools, animation stage and restaurant. There is no greenery as such, grass, a couple of palm trees and bushes.
The rooms are normal. Furniture, plumbing, air conditioning in good condition.

Cleaning in the room daily and high quality (tip left 2 times). Change of towels daily, bed linen 2 times a week. Safe in the room, payment 1.5 d / day.
Beach towels. It surprised. In Egypt, they give you a token and every time you go to the beach (or by the pool) you take a fresh towel. Here you leave a deposit of 10 days and your towel until departure. Everyone dries towels on the balconies, incl. and in a 5* hotel opposite.
Beach. I walked along the beaches of hotels from the center of Kanakli to the end of the village towards Alanya. It would be better if the beaches belonged to hotels (as I understand it, 5 meters is the territory of the state). All hotels have the same at least 2 * at least 5 *. The sand is dirty, umbrellas are at the level of market awnings. In Egypt, each hotel has its own original style of buildings, territory and beach (there is not a mote on the beach).
The food is normal. As elsewhere, vegetables, salads (I liked the honey-based sauce), muesli, soups. For lunch and dinner, something is constantly fried outside. There is a bar on the beach where you can eat in the afternoon. Basically, eat all the time. Breakfast 7.30-10.00, late breakfast 10.00-11.00, lunch 12.30-14.00, aperitif 12.30-16.00, snack tea 16.30-17.30, dinner 19.00-21.00, late dinner 23.30-00.30. The pastries are good, but in Turkey I was expecting a big one. Fruits. Always oranges, watermelons, apples. But then again, autumn is harvest season in Turkey!?
Alcoholic drinks from 10.00 to 00.30, the quality is the same as everywhere else. The Germans, among other things, drink "diesel". It's a beer cola. I, as a beer lover, did not even dare to try.
The main contingent in the hotel is German-speaking people. There is no discrimination.
Turkish bath in the hotel. I asked a question on the Tour to the truth about the cost (out of ignorance, I didn’t ask clearly). Fact: Sauna and Turkish bath are free. All the same + peeling and foam massage from 15 euros. All the same + mask and oil massage ask for 45 euros. We went for 30 days, naturally we overpaid compared to street agencies, but we were satisfied with the quality.

Purchases. In Alanya, at this time, the sale of summer goods. Actually, this is the end of the season. Many hotels are already closed. Friends said that some were moved several times from hotel to hotel. Ours was completely filled. Probably in every hotel there is something to complain about if you try. For example, two Russian-speakers will obviously remain dissatisfied (they were taken out of the bathhouse for boorish behavior in a drunken state).
Conclusion: We were satisfied with the rest.
