Hi all! We rested with a friend at the Sun Star Hotel for 8 nights and 7 days! I'll tell you frankly, it's not the hotel, not the food or the staff that makes your vacation great! And company and a planned vacation! We planned our vacation at home. We looked at all the websites, travel agencies, monitored reviews, and chose the local agency “Tours at Alik’s”! We recommend it to everyone! Prices are 3 times lower than those of our hotel guide.

We took - Alanya sightseeing tour, jeep safari, pirate yacht and Hammam, most of all I recommend Alanya sightseeing tour to everyone, be sure to take it with the cable car.
So, almost 4 days we were busy with travel, the rest of the days we decided to be by the pool, but as it turned out there were not enough places there, the hotel was small and modest, but quite clean. We went to Cleopatra Beach ourselves 2 times. By local bus. I advise everyone.
We saw the beach on an excursion that we bought from Alik and that same evening he sent us to Alanya City Tour, and that’s where we included an overview of the main beach of Alanya. Perhaps this is the pearl. the entire Antalya coast. By the way, you can order an Airport transfer from him.
So, food at the hotel for 4, there was enough for everyone and everything!
They clean well, we left a tip and laid out nice towels for us, changed shampoos and gels (although we used our own)
Entry into the sea is not good (slabs
The pool is small but clean)
The only identified negative about the hotel is poor internet, but on excursions we talked with other tourists from neighboring hotels - they had the same problem (
In general, if you have planned your vacation in advance and are not going to lie by the sea or by the pool, then you, like us, will boast good reviews about this hotel.

Service - great, check-in - fast, technical. Number - corresponded to the scale of funds. Disadvantages - queues at the restaurant (although I liked the food); small pool - 1 on 2 buildings; the beach is poorly maintained with a problematic entrance to the water and almost no beach bar; the transfer guide does not speak English.

Reading the reviews before the trip, I didn’t understand why they deteriorated so much in the last year, I’ll try to figure it out upon my return. 1. Keep in mind right away, this is NOT a FOUR!!! , whoever drew the 4th star for them, I have no idea. 2. On the first line there are only buildings A and B, building C (the largest in terms of capacity) is located through one building, and even across the road, 250 meters from the main one.

1. Keep in mind right away, this is NOT a FOUR!!! , whoever drew the 4th star for them, I have no idea.
2. On the first line there are only buildings A and B, building C (the largest in terms of capacity) is located through one building, and even across the road, 250 meters from the main one. This does not even pull on the second line, but not a word about this in the description.
3. The dining room was originally located in building A and is designed for TWO buildings, several rows of tables are placed outside along the dining room, the solution is certainly useful, but it does not completely solve the lack of space. The canteen in Building C is not open.
4. The beach is its own, there is an underpass between the building and the beach, they write that it floods during the rain - it may well be that I didn’t have a chance to check it.
5. The sun loungers are dead, the umbrellas are rusty, there are only a few, the entry into the water is tolerable, but you will beat your legs in a big wave. There are large stones and slabs.
6. Food, as in any top three - it is a top three, if you do not look for frills, then you can find something to your taste. Separately, the coffee break made me laugh, when several trays of some biscuits are taken out to the pool, and our people throw themselves on them, as if they were the last meal in their lives, put them on plates and, with an aristocratic look, eat them with beer and wine.
7. Drinks - shit, instant coffee, bottled water from the tap, even children do not drink UPI in the machine.
8. The rooms are whitewashed, but no more, whitewash is constantly pouring from the ceiling, the taps in the bathroom roar on the whole building, the bed is stained. (I always have my own towels and bedding)
9. Animation - I'm not interested, but I have not seen anything other than films. I think it's missing.
10. Wi-Fi - if anyone is interested, then only in the lobby, and then purely for text messages, no more. In the rooms you can connect for money, but they say the speed is the same.
I suppose that at the time of the last restoration and before the appearance of the C building (it was obviously bought out or rented), it could have been a four, but nothing is being invested in it, and our people already hawala. A hotel with three meals a day, near the sea and at the price of a flight? - Why not? Looking for comfort and cleanliness, then you are not at this address.
Obvious disadvantages:
broken and dirty dishes;
broken sun loungers and rusty umbrellas;
a small dining room for three buildings;
noisy plumbing;
far from Antalya (but maybe that's a plus).

We were looking for a 4-5 star hotel with all inclusive. And this hotel came across. As for its 4 stars, this hotel is very normal. Check-in had to wait a bit. They gave me a good number. The area is good, close to the center. The sea is great, great location. Wonderful entry into the sea. The Internet here, of course, is so-so, you can’t even chat in viber, I used roaming.

We rested at the hotel 6 1.18 to 2.10 18 The 4 * hotel is located 140 km from Antalya Airport, so it takes 3.5-4 hours to get to it, we were ready for this because we are not the first to arrive in the village of Mahmutlar. The hotel itself for 4 in principle is not bad, but there are flaws. What we liked: the sea was calm for 2 weeks - lucky, but without special shoes, the entry is problematic, but there is no pier.

The hotel itself for 4 in principle is not bad, but there are flaws. What we liked: the sea was calm for 2 weeks - lucky, but without special shoes, the entry is problematic, but there is no pier. The transition to the beach is a subway directly from the territory of the hotel. Toilets, showers, taps for washing feet - everything worked! A beautiful covered area of u200bu200ba cafe from the hotel is convenient - but food and alcohol are paid there - for 4 * it’s not ale! There are umbrellas and sun loungers, there was enough for everyone! Room 419 overlooking the sea was not new, but cleaned every day - it's really clean there. No disposable cosmetics, but everything was added to the stationary dispensers regularly, the water is hot, without interruption. 2 elevators had no problems to go down. The restaurant is certainly small for 3 buildings, but we did not observe the hungry. The food, as everywhere in Turkey, is quite specific, but you can easily find something to your taste. . The staff here, of course, has something to work on !! ! It seems that you understand that you are trying to be friendly at a party, but the girls at the bars hate everyone, the animation generally looked like dead hamsters - it’s understandable the end of the season, you can already relax. According to the reception, there are a lot of reviews about the girl Marina, in principle, they agree. Of course, this is not ultra, but for the money the hotel is not bad in principle, believe me, there is something to compare with in this village for the 4th time we rest. Mahmutlar is beautiful both during the day and in the evening and the convenient location of the hotel with a beautiful park next door with small cozy restaurants with live music, with a bunch of shops with souvenirs and sweets, all this adds good emotions. And cons can be found everywhere and in expensive hotels they are also there - but we we didn’t fly to look for cons, we flew to rest! It’s far from ideal, but we wish the hotel prosperity and improved service, and then we’ll be back for sure !! !

The hotel was chosen based on reviews, cheaper, but so that the reviews were normal. It's just a nightmare. Prepare 10 dollars for the tale, so that you can be quickly settled and closer, in course A or B, they talk about it directly. The only advantage is a normal room and that's it. The food is poor, meat, every day only chicken.

The dishes are dirty, that plates, forks, cups are just tin - complete unsanitary conditions. I don't know how this hotel has such a big score on this site and four stars. If you do not have time to take a shower before 7 pm, you will wash under cold water. The restaurant floor is dirty, slippery, greasy. The sea is a different story. Waves, boulders, stones. In such a hotel to relax - throw money away.

Chose a hotel based on reviews, and very disappointed. The rooms are dirty, the food is monotonous and extremely peppery. The staff smiles and falls into the astral. Entrance to the sea is not for children. I have never had such a bad vacation in Turkey or Egypt.

We rested with a child in this hotel, in general, the hotel is not bad, we got a good room with a sea view. To begin with, when we arrived at the hotel, we were settled in block C, this is something, far from the sea, there is nothing in the block (no juice, no coffee, no water), that is, you need to go to block A, if anything o needed.

Going to the reception, I met a girl named Marina, she told me for a long time that there were no other rooms, that everything was packed, be patient, how ??? ? how to endure ???? ? this is not a close distance from A to C, with a small child , but then she said if you pay, then you can look, after paying $ 20 we were settled in Block A.
In my opinion, if they already settle in block C, then the cost of the ticket should be lower, this is already the 2nd coastal one, without any conditions.
Well, okay, they paid and calmed down, BUT I have not seen such queues in the dining room in any hotel, how many times having been in Turkey I see such a nightmare in the first one, all tourists from 3 blocks go to the same dining room, and these queues for hot, well, really you can’t put hot dishes on two sides, why such crowds ????
There were all sorts of fruits, it was pleasing, watermelons, melons, cherries, plums (oak but still), grapes are different, oranges, there are no complaints about food, food in bulk, monotonous of course, but still. Cakes on the beach are terrible, people take 3-5 cakes, it’s not clear why, because they don’t eat everything and throw it away, thereby prolonging the queue, they took a cake with potatoes almost poisoned (the potatoes were sour) and didn’t even come up anymore.
No animation, terrible animators.
They pick up badly too.
In this hotel, I noticed that the attitude of the staff towards foreign tourists is much better than towards tourists from Russia, although most tourists are from Russia.
I think the director, or how to say it correctly, needs to make sure that the employees treat tourists better, so as not to lose their brand of hotel and tourists.
And finally, what even confused me very much was the guide’s story about what helps Turkey develop and how the Turks live on the 1st place TEXTILE, on the 2nd AGRICULTURAL STRUCTURE and on the 3rd it’s TOURISTS, but this is nonsense precisely for the main people of Turkey live at the expense of tourists, they bend the highest bars on prices, and if Egypt is once opened, then they will immediately understand what brings them profit... .

Chose this hotel based on the reviews on this site. I'm not picky at all, but this is just trash!!! The only plus is the clean rooms, and they clean every day and the beds are clean, the towels weren't really changed, but it doesn't matter! There is no animation, water polo and volleyball, cartoons and mini disco for children in the evening, what to do for children 12+ and young people is generally incomprehensible, the hotel has no territory, here is a pool and a couple of tables around + the building.

There is no animation, water polo and volleyball, cartoons and mini disco for children in the evening, what to do for children 12+ and young people is generally incomprehensible, the hotel has no territory, here is a pool and a couple of tables around + the building. There is no wifi even at the reception.
Food is a separate story, first you need to win back food, after winning back a place at the table and forks, they simply don’t exist if you don’t come 10 minutes before the restaurant opens and don’t push everyone with your elbows! The month of June, from vegetables, green tomatoes and cucumbers, today they gave mint, the question is how to eat it? If you come 30 minutes after the opening of the restaurant, you just get some leftovers or nothing. The food is tasteless, half sour, raw potatoes for dinner, etc. , semolina and gelatin cakes, even children do not eat them. The diet consists of chicken and all sorts of offal, for which you need 30 minutes in line, rice, french fries, pasta. Serving dishes, well, like cattle, if greens, then thrown with stems. For a snack at 4 o'clock, they again give cookies and biscuits.
Yes, tea, coffee, water, I don’t want to drink beer, their wine and local alcohol. On the territory there is popcorn and ice cream for money.
The sea at the moment with huge waves, it’s basically unrealistic to go there, I didn’t even understand if there were stones there, there are sun loungers, but there are few umbrellas, well, no lifeguards, with such a dangerous sea. If you walk a little along the beach to the left, there is a city beach and there is a pier, you can swim from it
