If you are young, energetic and you have small children, then you are unlikely to come here. But we are a company of five adults aged 47+. My husband (who had difficult diagnoses), therefore, it was the compactness and comfort of this lovely hotel that worked for us, and for 10 nights of staying here, he won our hearts.
Initially, we paid for a tour to block B for reasons of economy, but unexpectedly for us, at the reception, my husband and I and our friend were offered rooms in block A without any additional payments, and even with a sea view. Of course, we were delighted, and it is really very pleasant, going out to the balcony, to contemplate the beautiful seascape. The balcony overlooked partly the sea, partly the neighboring hotel, where active fun every day was exactly until 24.00. But we closed the window and turned on the air conditioner if we wanted to fall asleep early. And so - everything suited us. Moreover, from block A, all the benefits are closer - the sea, a restaurant, a lobby, a swimming pool.
So, the entrance to the sea is great for any age and ability. Soft sand and clear water. You can enter from the pier. There is no need for corrals, I was lucky in vain.
Nutrition. Breakfast is relatively monotonous, but I always found something to eat and was pleased with the presence of grilled vegetables, a lot of different greens and salads. But what is served for lunch and dinner is worthy of the highest praise. The chefs try very, very hard and the food is really delicious, more European with a small amount of Turkish dishes. Very tasty evening grill menu to be taken near the pool outside. The food is really 5+ and everything is cooked with soul and great skill. And meat, and fish and various side dishes. For alcohol, everything is standard - local alcohol. But the wines are not diluted, the rake too, the cocktails are edible. We were all ok. Ice cream was caught 1 time, they said that it was no longer the season. Turkish coffee only in the lobby. Delicious cappuccino and chocolates in vending machines.
Rooms. There is a video, I don't see how to upload it here. The room is clean, freshly renovated, original design. Small but has everything you need. The only negative for me is that there are no closed lockers. But not fatal. There is no bar, there is water in the fridge. There is a kettle and tea/coffee set. Hair dryer as usual - small. They don't give robes. The key is usually given one per room. But I really asked and they gave us another one, since my husband and I often returned to the room in different modes, he used to go to rest for health reasons and each time it was not very convenient to raise him to open the door for me.
There are no complaints about the staff. Everyone is trying to clean up. The rooms are excellent, clean. For a chocolate bar/dollar, girls spin swans and once they even made some combination with live petals))
In the restaurant, the waiter boys offered us drinks many times, and even one morning I was already at a late breakfast, the waiter girl came up and offered me to bring some hot drinks. It was a pleasure.
On the pier it was somehow that in the morning there were dirty tables between the sunbeds. But we asked, the guys came and cleaned. Indeed, there are questions about the cleanliness of the pier, the staff does not visit it very often. Remove glasses, trash cans, wash tables. But in principle, it is not critical. Once it was dirty and so like norms.
Internet. Here you immediately need to understand how much you need it. I had a need not only to correspond via viber, but also needed a normal Internet for work. Honestly, there is something to compare. This is a fat minus to the hotel for the fact that normal internet is only for money. This is my first time or maybe other hotels were higher class. Having suffered in the lobby (the laptop did not log into any system), having spent money on mobile roaming packages, I still had to buy paid access for 5 days for 8 euros. This catches both in the room and in the lobby. Everything is fine. I hope that in time the hotel will have free good access.
The location of the hotel is not close to the airport. We took a private transfer for 5 people. About $70 per car. We drove for about 1 hour 45 minutes. I think that with a stop at other hotels, the road is about 3 hours, no less. We will go back tomorrow as a group - we'll see.
Outside the hotel there are a dozen or two small shops. After a hearty dinner, you can take a walk if you wish. In addition, you can go to the center of Alanya (by minibus or for 10 euros for a taxi), there are many shops - Waikiki, Migros, and so on. But be careful. A local taxi driver slipped us a change with 20 euro coins and we, not understanding, tried to pay with the same money on the way back. It turned out that local taxi drivers do not take metal euros. It is not beneficial for them. The situation was unpleasant, but razrulivali.
In terms of animation, we somehow almost did not notice it. Maybe because almost all the time were at sea. There are no discotheques. During the day, someone plays with the children, but there are not many children. In general, I got the impression that this hotel is more for couples who just want a relaxing holiday, comfort and good sea. All this is here.
In general, the impressions of the hotel are very pleasant. If there is a good price for the tour, then perhaps there will even be an idea to come here again.
I still lacked live music and some dancing. But either I didn’t get to them, or it’s already the end of the season and the cultural program has run out of steam... ))
We wish the hotel not to lose the pace of development. Something to do with the Internet and then the 5 star that the hotel received not so long ago will be well deserved.
1. Wi-Fi is terrible, works intermittently from an hour to a couple of days;
2. The sea is good but there is no beach, there is a concrete rocky shore behind which there are waves and great depth, there is a puddle of peped with a concrete block where the wave throws water and at the same time garbage. There is a paid beach 7 minutes walk, $ 3 for the whole day, but there is only to take pictures, very small;
3. The water in the pools is good, but they are always crowded with people, the sunbeds are busy with towels in the morning and it is unrealistic to find a place under an umbrella after 9 o'clock;
4. Rooms with old furniture and plumbing with a rusty coating, air conditioners are cracking (we and two friends' rooms);
5. Russian channels 3 but there are no cartoons if anything;
6. The food is not bad, although at first it was not very good, they improved;
The bar is free beer (bodyazhenoe but you can drink), the wine is disgusting. Cocktails and other alcohol for $1;
7. The location of the hotel is terrible, there are only stalls with T-shirts and other junk nearby, everything else is by taxi (from $ 7 one way to the nearest shops), there is nothing nearby, there is nowhere to go out in the evening;
9. There are 2 buildings in the hotel, the second one is actually behind the fence separately but close, it is even quieter in it, from some 40 dollars they ask for a transfer to 1 building;
10. Almost all places in the dining room are occupied, you need to walk around with a plate on guard;
11. Cleaning is weak, although they left 2 dollars at first, but they can’t really wash the floors;
12. Guests 50-70% Russians, Germans and Turks, well, enough "tagil" and all;
13. The staff is normal, although we were asked to bring seeds, we brought 10 dollars and did not take money, and then they easily demanded 25 dollars from us for a couple of hours of departure later. In general, the Russian girl at the reception, Lena, is a nice person, but if you want real help and not to chat, then contact the shift where the Russian-speaking Turks are.
We can't wait for the transfer to the airport, the first vacation in many years, which we are waiting for to end as soon as possible. We flew to Istanbul for a few days : )
RESTED FROM 04/26/2018 TO 05/10/2018
3 MAIN CONS:
1. THE SEWER FLOWS BETWEEN THE PANEWAYS OF THE MIRADOR RESORT & SPA HOTEL AND THE NEIGHBOR BEACH TO THE LEFT. You can see it in calm weather, how water bubbles and smelly foam goes to the bridge of MIRADOR RESORT & SPA
2. There is no free access to the sauna and Turkish bath. This is nowhere to be found in Turkey.
Entrance is conditionally free from 12-00 to 14-00, at a time when people are gathering or already at lunch!!!
This establishment is run by a BANDERSH and a BIG BOOR WITH WHICH I MUCH HAVE BATTLE!!!
The suckers who were promoted for $30 or $35, she considers guests, and those who could not be promoted for $$$ are not allowed into the sauna while visiting the suckers!!!!!
-SAUNA ONE NAME - POOR CELL 2.5x2.5m, the temperature in which did not rise above 75 degrees Celsius
-Hamam is also a miserable cell about 6x6m
3. Disk jockey-faggot with a pigtail sees his task in turning on the music of fagots from Jamaica to the fullest!! ! He does not react to the demand to make the music quieter - after all, he has no brains !! ! And the speakers are at the children's pool! There is no normal relaxation music, there is neither Russian nor Turkish, solid BAM-bam- on the brain, typical music of drug addicts and motherfuckers !! ! From this music I had to go to the farthest part of the beach or to the bridge, but even there it got me!! ! And the neighbors didn’t hear any music - after all, there are 5 hotels there !!!!
P. S. There are no complaints about food, cleaning, service personnel !! !
