food only in minced meat or some kind of stew, everything in gravy, sometimes smelly fish, wild pears and apples from fruits, warm watermelon can be for dinner. Vegetables are often sour. After eating them, heartburn and nausea are common phenomena, the children could not eat anything there at all. And at the same time, everything is absolutely dirty - starting from the lobby, rooms, dining room and dishes, ending with pools and abandoned territory. There is no animation at all, no entertainment for children and adults. The safe and internet are paid - $2 per day. Towels are available for rent - $2 each. Sunbeds are generally antediluvian and dirty, often broken. The sea is more or less clean, but to swim in it, you can break all your feet with stones, it is impossible without special shoes. Definitely not suitable for children. The hotel corresponds to 2* maximum, exactly and not close to 4*. I do not recommend in any case. You will spoil your vacation!
Now the pros: the hotel area is very green, the pools are clean, the staff is friendly. I was afraid that it would be dirty, but no! On the contrary, I was very surprised that everything was cleaned, washed, watered constantly. The guys are great, keep the environment clean. There was enough food for everyone: me, my husband, and children. For every taste: fried, boiled, dietary, breakfast cereals for children with milk, pancakes with chocolate, fruits, cheeses, salads, sweets as much as you like. Flat cakes are baked in front of you, chops are fried and vegetables are grilled. Everything is very delicious! From the drinks there were juices (not yupi !!! , but normal juices, such as store ones), tea, coffee, latte, cappuccino from the machine, at the bar 7up, mirinda i pepsi. Alcoholic cocktails. Children's ice cream, popcorn, corn are all paid 1 dollar.
The sea is incomparable, clean, but you need aquashoes. The beach is being removed. Evening animations for children and adults. We went twice and didn't like it. More went to walk around Konakli. The children are a bit bored, they had fun in the pool as best they could, there is actually no club for children, as well as discos. In the amphitheater we watched shows and bainki, and in a nearby hotel there was music until 2 am and everyone was dancing. Here it was quiet. It seems to be a plus for those with children, but at the same time, I so wanted to jump to the music. Wi-fi is free only 350 mb, then pay money. In general, we liked it, MC Mahberi Beach Hotel is very cozy and atmospheric)
The food is varied, but the schedule was not very suitable for breakfast from 7:00-10:00, lunch 12:30-14:00, dinner 19:00-21:00, night soup 23:00-00:00. Snack bar from 11:00-16:00. Therefore, from 16:00 to 19:00 you will be hungry. In the garden bar, alcohol was poured into plastic cups, beer was generally diluted. The beach is not sandy, screenings are poured when you walk, dust rises and the same entrance to the sea is 2 meters, then carefully large and sharp stones will not even help you with slippers.
The territory of the hotel is their plus there will be good photos), playground - slides, swings, trampoline.
Entertainment is in the evening a children's disco, then a show for adults, a passage near the mini club to the territory of another hotel.
In conclusion - the rest was like in Ukraine, only for more money.
Evening programs are not interesting, they are not organized, people watched for 5-10 minutes and went to the rooms, because it is not interesting. There is no live music. Boring monotonous.
It is very strange that many vacationers simply have nothing to do. Until the age of 23 there is a bar with alcohol and everything, no discos or anything. I once left a child in a mini club (they were drawing), she came in an hour as she was sitting and sitting on a chair alone for nothing, and no one came up without giving me a pencil card to draw. I have never seen so many in Egypt. and here's the horror. There are no beach towels. Ice cream pay. It's been an hour for the cakes. Turkey itself is beautiful, this goal has interrupted the desire to go to Turkey again. One plus that took a yacht tour to Alanya was interesting.
According to information from the guide, the cost of accommodation for one person is eighteen dollars (June 2019), so if by multiplying the number of people and days + flight + transfer + percentage of the tour operator and travel agent, you received a lifting amount for yourself that you cannot relax in your homeland, then rest in Machbury you will succeed, otherwise you will call it a ruined vacation.
About the cons - the staff from Kyrgyzstan at the reception will probably spoil your impression of the hotel from the very beginning. They are normal guys, they speak Russian quickly, they understand everything, BUT THEY DO THEIR WORK WORSE THAN THE STUDENT INTERNS. In my case, at midnight, a group of 9 people - it's just four rooms settled for more than an hour, they also complained that there were SO many of us. The room was given the wrong one the first time, for the safe and towels they said come in the morning, then we will explain.
The hotel is really far from young, the renovation in 2015 was very cosmetic, only the locks of the front doors and air conditioners were changed.
For a week of stay, towels and bedding were never changed, despite the tip of the maid.
Everything worked in the shower, although there was a terrible sewer smell in the morning
In the reviews, they wrote earlier that they did not add water to the refrigerator and soap and shampoo - at our request they gave water and soap, the maids only know Turkish, but a smile helps in understanding each other.
For children, one of the three pools has two slides. Work alternately and not all the time
Towels were taken in the sauna, towel change $1
There are not enough sun loungers on the beach, as it seemed to me, due to the fact that, according to the "good" tradition, our tourists begin to occupy them early in the morning, and then do not come.
A HUGE MINUS OF THE SEA, WHICH THE TRAVEL AGENCIES WILL NOT TELL YOU ABOUT EVEN THOSE WHO HAVE BEEN IN THE HOTEL, this is the fact that stone slabs begin a meter after entering the sea. There are two clean entrances, you can find them by the accumulation of heads in the water, the sea is deep three meters after the entrance.
PLUSES - food for this money is quite normal
In the morning they cook scrambled eggs or scrambled eggs (not by choice, but in fact)
In the evening there is always some kind of grill - we had chicken fillet, chicken pieces, river trout, mackerel, horse mackerel
in the restaurant for dinner there is chicken, beef liver, beef, fish (not all of the above, but there are always two items to choose from) There is always pasta and something else to choose from (vegetables stew, chickpeas, rice, potatoes )
Sweet - like everywhere else, fruits - well, in June there were three times a watermelon, every day there were apples (norms), cherry plums and pears (not norms)
from 11 am on the beach they start preparing burgers (cutlets - frozen
poppy type)
WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE IN MIND - compatriots, this is Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan. The probability of meeting any decent burgher in this hotel is reduced to zero.
To its credit, I didn’t see my compatriots drunk in the smoke, half-quenched too, mostly family vacations. and not youth, although Russian grandmothers order a lot of alcohol at the bar for lunch and are still indignant at small portions. In bars and restaurants "juice type", tea and coffee - self-service, alcohol, beer and Pepsi (diluted twice) - the waiter pours mostly into very small disposable cups.
Due to a burning desire to spoil themselves and others for an all-inclusive holiday, our people follow a long-proven scheme - CREATE A QUEUE.
For lunch and dinner, tables are occupied on the street 45 minutes before the start, dinner starts at 19, at 18-25 everyone at the tables is already waiting, at 19-05 the restaurant opens and a crowd runs in for everything, rowing everything and a lot.
If you go not not at 19, but at 20-10 (forty-five minutes for food and twenty minutes for the waiters to be able to sort out the remaining garbage from a pile of half-eaten food), then of course there will be many more dirty tables, but all the food will be available (except that they are raking sweets and why cherry tomatoes), and all the salads, including the same chopped tomatoes, grilled menu and watermelons, will still be there, but without the tense ten-minute queue.
According to the same scheme, our people create queues in elevators, although there are two additional elevators + no one has canceled the stairs.
Evening animation takes place in a nearby hotel and I consider this a plus, because no one makes noise next to your windows until 23.00.
I also read the location of the hotel in the village of KONAKLI as a plus, five to seven minutes walk to the shopping center, fifteen minutes to the center with a weekly bazaar (for locals). right next to the hotel there are a couple of shops with the assortment that is in demand among vacationers.
Enjoy your stay if you choose this hotel.
1) The reception staff is terrible, the accommodation is very low level;
2) the entrance to the sea is terrible - big stones, you can break your legs
3) the interior is not impressive, the furniture is old, the balconies creak;
4) safe, internet, beach towels are paid;
5) there is no disco, it is boring for young people in the evenings.
PROS of the hotel:
1) The food is excellent: there is a lot of meat, fish, vegetables, fruits, no one will remain hungry;
2) The kitchen staff is very polite and attentive, well done guys;
3) the territory is large, 3 swimming pools with a water park;
4) during the day there is enough entertainment: volleyball, tennis, polo football, there are competitions, in the evening animation for children.
Rest with the family is normal, it will be boring for young people, the rest is budget.
