The problem is that the owner of the hotel positioned the direction of the hotel in an interesting way - business travelers and vacationers for the weekend or for a couple of days. On the Booking website. com constantly offers great discounts for holidays in Sea Bird for a few days - as one of the stopped business travelers told me (an Ankara resident who came to look for work in Konakli for the summer) - this is the most affordable hotel in Konakli for self-booking. But for tour packages, prices for this hotel could be lower, but there is already the moment the hotel works with operators.
The attitude of the staff is as friendly as possible - it does not depend on the tip - we were given one of the best rooms in the hotel (502) with a wonderful view of the sea (after which we decided to stay here). The water on the hill was turned on almost exclusively for us and at any time of the day! ! ! The food is delicious and fresh! ! ! -and this is one of the advantages of the hotel. (we really didn’t try the mayonnaise menu). Cleaning is average. The beach was not ready during our stay for the season-quite-spent time (+drinks, shower, changing room, toilet) on the neighboring Sunside and SunHeaven beaches. The sea in this place was quite dirty (at the level of the Black Sea, but without jellyfish). WiFi only in the lobby, for the internet in the room we found out the password of the nearby San Haven WiFi.
In Konakli every WEDNESDAY there is a big BAZAR - and food and things - we just left on Wednesday and bought very well (the prices there are very nice - do not rush to buy on arrival) - walk to the BAZAR - and it is located right on a long street - going PARALLEL to the main on the highway towards Alanya, on the left, you can walk -15-20t minutes walk from the hotel and to the left in any of the turns (near the Turtas hotel, there is still a bridge). You can also take a bus for 2 lira to the center of Konakli. It is profitable to ride buses and make purchases IN LIRA, do not be lazy to exchange currency for LIRA! ! ! the price is sometimes lower by 15-20%. There is an exchanger at the travel agency near the Sea Bird hotel. It is especially unprofitable to buy in euros. Telly: 2 cotton canals, the rest Turkish-son watched cartoons in Turkish-liked it).
