A month has passed since the rest in SUNMARITIM, so the extra negative emotions have disappeared, and the readers of my review can count on its objectivity. Don't be deceived - this hotel is very far from 4 stars!!! !
The room itself is normal, clean, but the air conditioner is unregulated, that is, if you are not satisfied with 25 degrees, ask the reception to set a different temperature. The bathroom is modest - an ordinary sink on the wall and a mirrored shelf, as in soviet hotels. Towels - well-worn - tattered by life, almost gray. The plumbing is inferior, the toilet tank was leaking, instead of a shower cabin - just a curtain and a plastic shower horn. Somehow the soap ran out - for two days they could not get a new one brought to us (until in the evening they "caught" the owner, who understands Russian very poorly). This is me about the staff. The staff is not particularly polite (not all, of course).
And at the reception, and in the bar, and in the restaurant, they may well get nasty. About nutrition - well, very, very modestly, I would even say poorly. I am not a gourmet, but there is nothing to choose from. Breakfast - eggs (3 and 5 minutes, but absolutely no different). Although there are a lot of plates - on one the cucumbers are cut into slices, on the other into slices, on the third - into cubes with tomatoes, and so on - similarly. Salads sometimes smell sour. The top of culinary art is french fries, or eggplants, and not everyone has enough. We didn’t see a meat dish for a week, a couple of times there was chicken tripe and something like meatballs (obviously soy). Sweets are mostly colored jelly and something from biscuit dough (there is no talk of baklava at all). From fruits - unsweetened watermelons, people sorted grapes, only enough for those who came to the opening of the restaurant. On the beach - there were not always enough sunbeds, since it was possible to freely walk to the neighbors. Umbrellas, as well as sun loungers, shabby with life.
The sea, of course - super! warm, beautiful, clean. But to go into it and swim is a problem. And here's why: the water area itself is not cleared of huge underwater rocks (unlike neighboring beaches). Therefore, you need to know the only "fairway" on which it is only possible to enter. Swimming, you can, with your foot, side, hand, unexpectedly injure yourself on underwater cobblestones (not at all rounded). But still, people adapt - after all, do not spoil your vacation! There is no territory as such. From the hotel you get only to the reception, from there - either to the territory of the restaurant or to the territory of the bar, from there - to the beach. All this is very, very closely located, but very cozy. I won’t write anything about entertainment - I don’t know, because we went to bed relatively early and got up very early.
