The tour was taken a couple of days before departure, so there was not much choice.
From what it was, we liked Serap Su Beach. As it turned out, they weren't wrong. Although it all started badly. We arrived and (as I understood from the worked out scheme) when filling out the questionnaires at the reception, we were happily informed that there were no places in the hotel and asked if we mind moving to another hotel in the neighborhood for the night, which is part of their MS group - another "scourge - Mahberi. While people were considering the proposal, the receptionist was glad that everyone agreed and promised fruit and wine in the room the next day as compensation, after which they all put in a taxi and sent to Makhbury, which turned out to be 500 meters from SerapSu. According to Machbury, this is horror =) Our room could easily become a film set for a horror movie. Small, the furniture is old, the light in the bathroom flashes non-stop, but it's better when it's dark - you can't see the dumb bath and the wobbly toilet bowl, the air conditioner only works at a convenient time for it. To our attempts to ask to fix the light bulb, they said we would send an electrician, wait. We didn’t wait - we went to the sea, maybe that’s why he didn’t come? =) We decided - to hell with him, we’ll spend the night somehow, and in the morning we’ll run to our hotel to swear and demand that we be relocated. There was no need to swear, in the morning a bus arrived, picked us up with our clothes and took us back to Serapsa. There we were given a room, they even offered to choose from several, we took it without a sea view, but with a double bed. Fruit, wine and a free safe were brought as compensation for Mahberi. Now specifically for the hotel:
1. Nutrition. Those who write that they feed little, not tasty, etc. either got in a bad season, or were in another hotel. The food is constant and the choice is quite large. Chicken and beef are always available, most often in several variations. Bread is always fresh, cakes are constantly baked. From fruits - watermelons - in large quantities for breakfast, lunch, dinner. To them are always added either peaches, or plums, or local yellow fruits similar to smooth-skinned apricots. There are a lot of salads, with both cooked and separately chopped tomatoes, cucumbers, etc. Soup really seemed to be only one for lunch, I didn’t eat it. Between breakfast and lunch, there is a "snack bar" by the sea, where you can always pick up watermelons, french fries and make yourself a burger. On the territory of the hotel they make fresh juices, sell corn and ice cream. Prices for ice cream are adequate - the most delicious and expensive Magnum - 2 bucks, you won't regret taking it, boiled corn 2 bucks at the hotel, 1 - if you go out into the city, fresh juices - standard price - $ 1 small, $ 2 - large.

2. Beach and pools. The beach is large, comfortable, sandy, next to the beach there is a lawn, where you can also put sunbeds and sunbathe. There were always enough places on the beach despite the crowded hotel. Beds with mattresses available. Towels are available for a fee, we brought our own. The pool is quite normal. There is a place for everyone to swim. There is also a children's pool and a pool on the side of the hotel, in theory, also for children, since it is small (somewhere to the waist) and for some reason almost no one ever swims in it. It's a shame that you can't swim in the pools at night, but they swam in the sea every night, the entrance to the sea was cleared of stones. Has its own pier.
3. Number. The room is furnished with old but solid furniture. Having moved from Makhbury, you immediately feel the difference. They clean every day, leave a dollar - they will clean with diligence and bring fresh flowers. The safe in the room was free. The air conditioner worked all the time and well. Although there were tourists who said that their air conditioner worked only at a specific time of the day. The bedding is clean, the bed is big enough. There are a bunch of local channels on TV, German Eurosport, a couple of Russian-Ukrainian music channels: News One, 2 + 2, Channel One Russia, NTV, maybe a couple more. Two half-liter bottles of water are provided daily free of charge.
4. Animation and entertainment. The animation is weak in my opinion, although in recent days they have doubled the number of animators and have a new chief animator (so they seem to be working on themselves). In the evening - standard performances. In the afternoon - games of darts and water polo. There are volleyball, football and basketball fields. Of these, they played only football. I really wanted to play basketball - but there was no ball. For some reason, no one played volleyball either - maybe there was no ball either? =) There is also a tennis court (5 dollars - and you can play as much as you want) and 2 table tennis tables - for free. Also 2 tables for American billiards ($ 5 - hour), slot machines for children and an Internet cafe.
In general, the hotel. The territory is large and beautiful (who does not believe look through Google earth). Banana palm trees (albeit without bananas) are seen on the territory. pomegranate trees with pomegranates and orange trees with green oranges. There are also rabbits that you can feed. There are 2 water slides, but we didn't ride them. Shop at the hotel at prices no higher than in the village or in Alanya, and for some things even lower. The hotel has a hammam - costs $ 30 per person. I recommend to take in the hotel, and not go to some other. I was also surprised by the lack of queues at a full hotel.

In general, we can say that once the hotel was very cool, now of course it is already a bit old, but still trying to keep the brand. Suitable for a relaxing family holiday.
