2. Before you go here, you need to understand that this is a German hotel, we were the only non-German couple. Everything here is focused on the Germans, the staff speaks German, in English only general phrases at the level of street vendors, the Germans will have the best rooms, all the attention of the staff will also be to the Germans. It didn't matter to us, we only came to the hotel to spend the night, but if you are counting on something more, you may be disappointed.
3. Cleopatra beach is far enough, about 20 minutes at a fast pace, if you don't get distracted. But it is very close to the central bazaar and all sorts of nightclubs.
4. Shopping. There is no point in going to the bazaar, it is not a bazaar in our understanding, but just a bunch of shops with a standard set of consumer goods. If you want to buy some, I recommend going to the Reni Mood shopping centers on Ave. Ataturk 43 or opposite, across the road, LC Waikiki. The prices and quality of things are quite acceptable, and if you get on sale, then even very interesting ones (jeans $15-20, T-shirts $5). Or you can take an excursion to Manavgat with a visit to the local bazaar, where it really is a bazaar. Yes, I do not recommend going to Alanyum shopping center, it is quite far from the center, about 15 minutes by bus, and it is very small.
5. Excursions. If you want to take a Boat tour, do not take it from travel agencies, just go to the pier in the evening, pick up a boat and negotiate directly. I highly recommend a quad bike trip, in Turkey in the mountains it is more interesting than in Egypt in the desert, usually everyone is very satisfied. In no case do not take Hammam at a travel agency, those hammams where they carry are packed with people, a 2-hour program will stretch for 4-4.5 hours due to queues. In Alanya, there are a lot of all kinds of hammams on the streets, where you can just go up and agree. Turkish 1001 nights are much worse than similar Egyptian nights, but for general development you can go once. They wrote a lot about the fact that you can’t take excursions from your operator, but I’ll repeat it again - in no case do not get fooled by their stories!
