I rested in Sun Heaven from September 24 to October 1, as it were, 8 days - seven nights. I flew with a company (three of us) through the Moscow travel agency "Vers Travel Service" - a direct representative of Pegas-Touristik.
Departure from Moscow from Domodedovo via VIM-air as if by Boeing. Flight number 8173 at 7 am on September 24th. Really took off at three o'clock in the morning the next day. Delay 20 hours. The weather is flying, it's just that VIM-air has few boards, and so many charters have been sold that it is impossible to provide them with real boards. (But the competitors did not get the money! ).
Our flight and another VIM-Avia flight (8171, departure on the 24th at 6 am) were simply canceled due to the lack of real aircraft for these flights. For a whole day, VIM-avia tried to “shoot” free boards from some decent airline, and only at 17.00 on the 24th did it manage to negotiate with Ural Airlines to overtake empty Il from Yekaterinburg, which was safely delivered to Antalya by flight 3553.
Some people were taken to Tu by the same Ural Airlines. All these days, people (400 people, many with children) tried to find out something from the representatives of the company in Domodedovo, who did not want to admit that the planes simply do not exist in nature, and they need to be looked for all over Russia from other companies.
In general, an angry crowd was buzzing on the first floor. The police were constantly present, but did not interfere. Already accustomed to VIM-avia. The passengers occupied the interior of the VIM-avia office and put pressure on the boys to beat them on their own territory.
The second trouble: VIM-Avia has had problems with flights for a long time, Domodedovo administrators told about this. Therefore, the Pegasus-Touristik could not have been unaware of this. But we were not even warned about the flight delay!
The guys from Pegas-Touristik sell vouchers for charters of an absolutely unreliable airline, from which the license for transportation should have been withdrawn for a long time, and do not experience moral inconvenience at the same time! It was not the first time in Turkey, I rested through the Coral, with them I didn’t notice such indifference to us, cattle. I recommend everyone to think hard when choosing a Tour Operator, if you want to go to Turkey.
Concerning Sun Heaven. This is a solid trio, according to the territory, the beach, the rooms could qualify for 4 stars, but the disadvantages are: the hotel is old, plumbing, soundproofing is not up to par. There were interruptions in food in the sense that the day was thick, the day was empty. There were two days of interruption with the meat second course - they ate meat in vegetable goulash, where it was rather difficult to see it. The rest of the days - everything is O'key. And they gave lamb, and chicken as much as you like, and beef, all sorts of kidneys there. There was always an abundance of watermelons. The quality is not worse than Astrakhan.
Almost the entire hotel is inhabited by Russians, there are few Germans, there were Dutch and a few Poles. Therefore, the animation was mainly in Russian. Animation for children is just perfect, for adults there were also interesting scenes, but somehow everything was skewed towards Turkish nationalism.
And Mowgli the Turkish scatters all the others with one finger and much else in the same vein. Alcoholic drinks, as always in Turkey, sin with H2O, but Rakia was undiluted. On the beach, beer, delicious potatoes and some other cakes. The sea is not dirty (there are such reviews), it was very warm, somewhere around 28 degrees.
The host party is the same Pegas-Touristik, they have merged with the hotel staff and will not protect your interests. For a delay for a day, no one thought to apologize and did not offer compensation (in the form, for example, of free excursions, as other Tour Operators do). Departure is the morning of October 1st.
