Rested in this hotel from 14 to 24 September 2010.
Initially, I want to say that if a ticket to this hotel costs more than 22.000 rubles. for 10-12 days with a departure from your village, then you can consider it for recreation, otherwise feel free to forget about this hotel. Yes, by the way, this price is indicated for a flight from Voronezh, but if you are located much to the north or east, then you will have to recalculate the price yourself.
I will try to objectively state the facts about this hotel, and you will decide for yourself what you are willing to pay for and what not.
1. The hotel is located at the crossroads of two main streets of Alanya, so peace and quiet in the room is out of the question, day or night.
2. The territory of the hotel is a pool measuring approximately 4x12m and a passage around it is a maximum of 2m, and that's it. The remaining 50m2 is a continuation of the dining room, which is located indoors.
3. The beach is really 30-50m. with crossing the road. The hotel is attached to Cleopatra Beach No. 11, but you can sunbathe on any, because. they are all paid. The price for a deck chair with a mattress and an umbrella for one person is $ 6, for two - $ 9. In the store you can buy a small umbrella for 20 lire and sunbathe on the beach for free with your own towel. Prices are everywhere in lira. The dollar exchange rate is 1.47 to 1 lira. It is most profitable to exchange dollars for lira there, because. rounding change from dollars is always not in your favor.
4. The sea in the Cleopatra Beach area, most likely, does not have breakwaters, because. there is never a calm. There are always waves in that area, either strong or very strong, so it is not possible to swim there, but you can ride the waves very cool.
5. The food in the hotel is worse than in other 3 *, but not much. If you eat lamb and "chops" of unknown origin, then you will not stay hungry. There are very few pastries in the hotel, and if you did not come to the beginning of breakfast, lunch, dinner, then you will be left without it, I never found pastry for breakfast. Same thing with fruits. On different days watermelons, grapes, melons and plums were given, but only for the first "batch" of diners. A couple of times at lunch I saw a dish of cucumber skins, that's how we peel potatoes, so they peeled cucumbers and collected them on a large tray. There were not enough knives, forks and plates for everyone, so a whole line of thirsty people gathered and waited for the next batch to be washed and taken out of the kitchen. But the main feature of this dining room is different - there, during breakfast, lunch, dinner, between the tables, two "waiters" carry a cart with a bucket, where before your eyes they dump the leftovers from the plates and stack the dishes, I have never seen anything like this anywhere and never......
6. The hotel rooms are ordinary. Cleaning is standard. True, the first couple of days I was without towels, because. “They were taken to the laundry, ” but then, after explanations at the reception, they were immediately brought to me. Yes, no one speaks Russian in the hotel.
7. The hotel is not intended for Russians, only Pegasus sells it, and the guides, bringing tourists there, say that they will not appear there anymore, because. you are the only one in this hotel. True, I was able to find, as it turned out, 9 Russian people (along with me) in the hotel, of which two are children of 5 years old. And for our entire vacation, no Russians were really brought there. Mostly Germans, Poles and Turks rest there, and these are either pensioners or Turkish families from some remote village.
8. The hotel is located at a distance of 3-4 km from the "central" discos of Alanya. Taxi is 10 lire. 1 lira = 20 rubles (+/- 1 rub. ). You can get to the center by minibus for 1.25 lira.
9. These discos are visited by almost all tourists of Alanya. I will say for those who like Europeanized discos like "Aura" and "Inferno" in Kemer and "Aura" and "Joy" in Marmaris, you will not like these discos in Alanya. Outside of Alanya, in Mahmutlar and Konakli, there are two Europeanized discos, they are called "Auditorium" and "Samer Garden". We were in the "Auditorium", by taxi it's 30 lire from the hotel one way, the entrance is 20 lire (one cocktail is included in the price). This open-air disco, with a pool, foam parties and mixed music. She works till 5-6 o'clock. We didn’t get to Samer Garden in Konakli, but I know from the stories of my friends that it is in the same style as the Auditorium.
10. Also in the center of Alanya are branded stores with fixed prices. Turks are traded in ordinary stores, but not very much. Factory jeans can be bargained for 30 lira, but I stopped at 40, because. I was already ashamed to buy cheaper, though it is very difficult to find such jeans, because. for the most part, this is handmake. In the Collin's brand store, jeans cost 79 liras, in Mave I bought, probably the most expensive jeans in Turkey, for 120 liras. Also in Alanya there is a "bazaar" that comes every Friday (and do not believe the guides who say that there is no market in Alanya), it is located in the very center, you will immediately find it, you will not get lost. In this market you can buy very cheap fruits and vegetables (I bought peaches for 2 lira and this is without bargaining). There are also souvenirs there, but they put a very high price on them, so you have to bargain to the “victory”, especially since the market is the only place where bargaining is really a pleasure for sellers.
11. Alanya itself is a very pretty green town, with countless parks. Mostly Germans, Poles and the Turks themselves rest there, Russians are much less than in Marmaris and even more so in Kemer. Not many people know the Russian language there, and if they do, they know the minimum set of words. But almost everyone knows English there. And although they say that Russian girls taught the Turks to “vodka, disco, sex”, after a trip to Alanya, I can responsibly state that the Germans taught them to do this. I have never seen such a number of obese, flabby, with a hanging belly and chest, and sunbathing topless, girls, women and grandmothers anywhere and never, and I was in Turkey for the fifth time. The Turks themselves in Alanya are absolutely straightforward and frank, without even asking your name, they offer you “vodka, disco, sex” and are genuinely surprised when you say “no” to them.
Finally, I would like to say that although Alanya is a beautiful town, I would not want to return there. I think once was enough for me.

The hotel was chosen inexpensive, a prerequisite was the proximity of the hotel to the beach and the center of Alanya. We arrived at the hotel at 5 o'clock in the morning and we were offered a choice: to check into an uncleaned room or wait until 14.00, we chose the first option. Single room; hair dryer, air conditioner, TV, refrigerator worked properly and everything suited us. In another building, next to the pool, there are more two-room suites. Cleaned every day, but not very high quality, although bed linen was changed 2 times a week, and towels more often.
The food at the hotel is more or less normal, although breakfasts could be somehow diversified, otherwise for 13 days there are boiled eggs, soybeans and cereals fed up, they could at least make an amlet for a change. But we were not hungry.
There is no animation at all. At the request of some people to turn up the music louder, the bartenders answered: "there is a center. " There were a few Russians in the hotel, 10 people.
The main plus of the hotel is that the sea is a 3-minute walk, and you can walk to the center in 20 minutes or drive 3 stops by bus for 1.25 lira (or by taxi 10 lira). On the opposite side from the center there is a small amusement park, it takes about 20 minutes to walk, our child liked it there. In general, we had a good rest, because we had no illusions that in 3 *** the service would be like in 5 *****!

Everything that is written about the location of the hotel and the proximity of the beach is true. The hotel is fully consistent with its stars. Well, first things first. So, we arrived early in the morning and we were immediately settled. I’ll clarify right away that you can find fault with everything and everywhere, even in the “five”.
The room is without any frills, all the necessary minimum is there, everything worked, nothing ran anywhere. Towels and bed linen, of course, not new, but quite normal. Rooms were cleaned almost every day, linen was changed 1 time in three days. I didn’t pay and didn’t leave it. All electrics worked from the key, the temperature in the air conditioner was not regulated, because it was tuned to some particular wave of its own. Know that mosquitoes are found in Alanya, of course they don’t fly in a swarm they don’t gnaw at death, but at night Fumitox will come in handy if you sleep with an open balcony. We had this tool, so there were no problems.
Food, as, probably, in any three-ruble note (in Turkey, this is not the first time, so there is something to compare with), the vegetable diet prevails. It does not differ in particular variety and periodically repeats, but we have never been hungry. problems with the stomach. Oranges were constantly, for dinner they alternated - watermelons and apples, or watermelons and grapefruit. Watermelons and oranges are ripe, but it seems to me that grapefruit was not very good. From meat they gave - soy meatballs and some cutlets, chicken and turkey. Fish - some local minnows, but they don’t know how to cook fish. Local alcohol in the bar is not a fountain. I haven’t tried wine. We didn’t drink water in coolers at the bar. Near the hotel there is a small shop "BIM", where we bought soda, juices and water at very affordable prices. Although foreigners took water from coolers with them to the beach. In the bar you can also order Cola, Fanta etc. local production. Everything was bottled.
We did not swim in the hotel pool, because. came to the sea.
The staff was unobtrusive, did their job and that's all. Probably a minus that at the reception desk they spoke and understood Russian poorly, according to our information, there were not so many Russians resting there,
maybe it's even for the better. But nevertheless, you can explain.
I speak English well, so everything was fine with us in this regard. When we rested, the hotel was not full.
Eastern Europeans, Turks, Germans, Russians, there were no more than ten people with us there. There is a Turkish bath at the hotel, I recommend it to everyone. There are no procedures on the "stream".
Kadir is in charge of everything, a great guy. When agreeing on bath services, you need and can bargain. If you want to get an even and beautiful tan, you need to go to the bath on the first day or two of your vacation. parties are not here. For this, you need to go to the center to the street of bars and discos (there is a bus stop next to the hotel,
so getting to the right place will not be difficult). So, we liked the rest here, calmly without fuss.
The price-quality ratio justifies itself. So think and choose for yourself what you want to get from your vacation.
Good luck to all!

I had a rest this summer in Cleo Mare and was very pleased - quite a decent varied food (although coffee is disgusting), - I was always full, my room was cleaned every day (and there were no problems with towels), a wonderful clean beach (and most importantly, close, across the road), there is a small pool (but why is it, there is a sea! ).

My room had 2 balconies, TV, air conditioner, refrigerator, shower, toilet, and 2 beds (although Single was resting). Upon arrival, I immediately met Russian girls and had such a rest! ; ) In short, he fulfilled all the tasks set for himself in relation to outdoor activities! ; )
As a result, a good option for a not too demanding tourist (I especially recommend it to those who travel for the 1st time, as well as people without children, and of course, young people who want to have a good time! ; )
Discos - in the center, 20 minutes on foot, or 3 minutes. by bus (1 lira), I liked Club Havana. . .
Yes, the staff is quite courteous and polite (unless, of course, you don’t show off yourself, and pretend to be who knows who (there are many such Russians)). That's it. Draw your own conclusions.

The only advantage of the hotel is the beach and the sea (although neither one nor the other is its property, so it's probably not worth attributing them to the advantages of the hotel). The sea is wonderful, the beach is very good, a beautiful view of the fortress and mountains. The only negative is the paid sunbeds and umbrellas ($ 6 for an umbrella and a sunbed), but it was good on a towel under the sun, especially since the hotel is a three-minute walk away.

The only negative is the paid sunbeds and umbrellas ($ 6 for an umbrella and a sunbed), but it was good on a towel under the sun, especially since the hotel is a three-minute walk away. The rest was spoiled by the ubiquitous Turkish "machos", silently and continuously pursuing me and my girlfriends both at sea and on the shore, and it was useless to explain to them that their presence was undesirable, since the natives do not speak any language other than Turkish. The hotel staff also does not speak Russian, and the Russian guide does not care about tourists. The guide talked to us twice: the first time - on arrival, when she actively sold excursions at unrealistic prices, and the second time, when she said goodbye to us in a very dry, businesslike way.
Separately, I would like to dwell on the cleaning of the rooms. On the second day of our stay at the hotel, towels were changed and the room was cleaned. At this point, the hospitality of the hotel staff seemed to have dried up, because our room was not cleaned anymore, although the bar was checked daily.
By the way, about the bar of the restaurant. Alcohol is bred godlessly, drinks are poured very reluctantly and each time less and less. What to say about alcohol, when even coffee was diluted! Although Turkish beer is very personal, there is one drawback: in the glass - half foam, half beer. What can you do? Cleo Mare Hotel!!!
If we talk about the kitchen, I did not like the monotony. Breakfast was a guess as to what would be for lunch. There is no variety on the menu, but you won't go hungry either. Pleased with the abundance of fruits (watermelons, peaches, plums, grapes, melons).
In general, the hotel is so-so, it pulls for a three. No entertainment, only Turkish music. Saved by the fact that in the evening it was possible to go out into the city. By the way, there are cool discos. Although we were in Turkey for the first time, we expected better.
In general, I do not recommend anyone to go to Cleo Mare Hotel. Even my mother-in-law.

The location of the hotel is just amazing - you crossed the road and you are on the beach, the beach is good. About umbrellas and sun loungers: for me it’s easier to buy an umbrella for 6 bucks and not spend money every day (the money is still not big). About the reception: I was in Turkey for 10 days. The Russian-speaking girl at the reception was only the first two days.

The Russian-speaking girl at the reception was only the first two days. Then she was gone and I had to turn on all my knowledge of English, which sometimes turned out to be much greater than the knowledge of people at the reception - I had to turn on sign language.
I can only say one thing about the pools: during the day we did not swim in them, but in the late afternoon, after a few grams of cognac for free, it was simply necessary to freshen up. So I'm not complaining about the pools. There are disputes on the network: how many pools are there in Cleo Mare? I answer: there are 4 of them, two children and two adults. Only they are located two by two near the first and second buildings, but everyone living in the Cleo Mare buildings can swim in them.
And now the most annoying thing. Room service. JUST AWFUL!!! ! On the 6th day of our stay, the trash in the toilet was removed. Linens were changed on day 7. The towels were not changed at all. It turned out that the Chaldeans came and began to clean up, but we, in order not to interfere, went to the bar. Upon returning, we saw that everything remained in its place, i. e. as soon as we left, the Chaldeans left almost immediately behind us. At the same time, tips were taken without a twinge of conscience. All our requests to change towels were answered by the staff tomorrow, and this tumorrow lasted until the 10th day of our stay.
Now about theft in the hotel. Our very good friends (husband and wife) came for 14 days. They had a package with the so-called dry rations in the corner, because at the end of the trip she went to relatives in Arkhangelsk, and he went home to Kyiv. So she decided to take dry with her. rations, because the path is not close. In short, s. . whether this package. During the trial, Igor left the room and saw that the door of the next room was ajar and there was a mop! When he entered the room he saw an oil painting: two Chaldeans who clean the rooms were lying in the room in shoes on the bed and watching TV. And the room was occupied. I won’t tell what happened next, but he yelled at them and dragged them by their black hair throughout the hotel (the former military man is honor and praise to him). The package was never returned, but they began to clean the room daily.
10 bucks were stolen from other acquaintances from a bag, by itself, the investigation of this incident did not produce any results. Now, if it were not for problems with cleaning and not for theft, then I would not even have anything to complain about. By the way, the bartenders poured drinks with such a face, as if I were taking the last from his family from him. It wasn't that I noticed it, it was just.... it was a bit uncomfortable.

Well, what to write about him, the first time we took a chance and went to 3 * and were pleasantly surprised, a small hotel, consists of 3 buildings, 2 people speak Russian at the reception, on the first day they settled in an unsuccessful room, not only was it some kind of damp, so even considering that we are two girls, we did not have enough space for our luggage and in general for everything, on the same day we asked to change our room, and the next day we lived in a good room with a sea view, room let's say so-so, but given that we only spent the night quite decent))) They are constantly cleaned, even the curtains were changed for us))) The food is very good, the only thing that we didn’t eat cold, since the salads were obviously from the remnants of dinner, they disguised them badly, but the hot one is very, of course, there is not much variety, but everything was enough, everything was very tasty, and almost every day everything was new , were 16 days and hot did not repeat.

The hotel is located very conveniently, you can walk to the center, though it's still a long 25 minutes for sure, and in the end we went by bus. There are few Russians in the hotel, a lot of people from Germany, Prague, Scandinavia, Turkey, 2 minutes to the beach, the beach is of course excellent the one that Cleopatra, the first week they took sunbeds, 1 sunbed $ 2, an umbrella $ 2, and then friends came to us and we just lay down on towels near the shore, very good))
The only thing I didn’t like was the pools, there are 4 of them, but they are located, as it were, on the back side of the building, and the sun is there only at noon, respectively, they are constantly cold, although we lay there and nothing bothered us)))
In conclusion, I will say that the hotel corresponds to 3 *, good value for money, I think that I will go there quite calmly))) If you have any questions, write))
