Rested in Tunisia for the first time. I chose the Marhaba Salem 3 * hotel. Literally 2-3 days before the trip, they called from the agency and said that there were some inconsistencies with the hotel, but I can go to the Marhaba Royal Salem 4 * hotel for the same money. Since there was an appropriate attitude, I agreed, although the reviews about Royal Salem were worse. The flight went well, we were met at the airport normally. On the bus, I found out that from the whole plane I was going to this hotel alone. They gave me a single number (I was alone). The room was basic but without a balcony. She asked to change. They promised to do it the next day, asking what the reward would be. Upon learning that only chocolate would be the reward, they were upset, but the number was changed. Settled in room 2 1 2 in the main building overlooking the entrance and the fountain. The room is normal with a balcony When you check into the room in the bathroom, there were 2 disposable shampoo sachets. During my entire stay there, I have not seen more. She herself took a bar of soap from the maid's cart. When I discovered that the air conditioning was not working, I turned to the reception. The master did not take long to wait and quickly fixed the problem. The room was almost never cleaned, although I left a dinar every day. There was no safe in the room, they offered to take a safe next to the reception for 2 dinars per day. Much to my regret, I didn't use it. Although I read that theft is rampant in this hotel, I never thought that this would affect me. Nothing has ever been lost in any country, in any hotel. I left my passport, Russian money and dollars in a suitcase under the lining. The suitcase was closed with a padlock (symbolic). I'll tell you about the missing money later. As for free sunbeds near the pool and the sea, I always found a place, m. b. because finding a free sunbed for one person is easier. As for food, I can say that they fed without frills, but you can eat, especially since I am not picky in this matter. I was not asked to tip for service. Bottled water is included in the all inclusive. Local alcohol, you can drink all sorts of alcoholic cocktails. Always for lunch and dinner there were 4 types of delicious ice cream. Of the fruits were: oranges, nectarines, watermelons, melons, sometimes apricots. Separately, it must be said about the sea. The sea is very dirty, algae both on the shore and in the water, and, in addition to algae, there is household garbage. Although communicating with tourists from other hotels, I heard that everything was in order with the purity of the sea. And now about the most unpleasant moment for me. One day, when I decided to count the cash, I did not find any of the $315 in my suitcase. The suitcase was also locked. There were $11 and 30 dinars left in the bag. Everything was in place. At the reception, having learned about the incident, they asked to come in the morning. After reading my statement, Gen. the manager promised to give an answer before I left. To my concerns about leaving expensive clothes in my room, he assured me that I could be calm. Although in some reviews I read that some of the clothes were missing, as well as part of the money from the safe. I also saw the maid opening my perfume. To tell me he can't catch the thief, gen. the manager took two days. I didn't expect any other answer. Of course, he believes me that I had money, but he can’t help me in any way. He can only give his money. Now I regret that I didn’t say: come on if you can’t clean up the hotel. People, if you have already bought tours to this hotel, keep your money in a savings bank, that is, in a safe. Maybe it will save you at least from stealing money. Next time, if I go to Tunisia, then definitely not to this hotel. To leave the room calmly and not think about whether you will count your things or not.
