At the beginning, the hotel had very few visitors, about 5-10%, and from Thursday to Sunday the hotel was simply jam-packed with the local population. … More ▾ We chose the hotel for a long time. At the beginning, the hotel had very few visitors, about 5-10%, and from Thursday to Sunday the hotel was simply jam-packed with the local population. Then everything was empty again. Everything was related to the celebration of Ramadan. In the evening, the local people, after dinner on which it is already impossible to crowd, gather by the pool and listen to the local dull singing of one performer to the national instrument until 12 at night. In general, you need to be a fine connoisseur of the East and it is desirable to know Arabic languages ​ ​ in order to feel calm. In a four-star hotel, there are no beach towels, animations and showers on the beach at all. Water and drinks at lunch and dinner are paid. The rooms are seriously shabby, there are ants on the upper floors. All beautiful wicker furniture except chairs is not functional. Cleaning in the rooms is so-so, the territory is simply miserable (dead lizards and birds are not cleaned for weeks), and there are also a lot of algae on the beach. There is nowhere to leave the hotel, and it’s not safe (with us there were cases of the theft of bags from passers-by vacationers, by local hooligans). Food for four. There is no "all inclusive" in the hotel, there is an extra. option - lunch (drinks are paid). Hammam and many procedures of the vaunted thalassotherapy are under repair, the gym is very small and paid - about 600 rubles. for 2 hours.
In general, a depressing impression, although the photos are beautiful, but believe me, everything in this hotel is small and shabby. The escort guide from Koral Daria struck me with her idiocy (she simply tortured everyone leaving with warnings that you can not fly if at least one local coin is in your luggage or hand luggage), as if we wanted to take handfuls of dinars. Hotel Africa Jade was a pleasant surprise. I don't understand why 4 stars. With the exception of a few technical details, it just definitely deserves five stars. At night from Enfidha Airport, by private transfer (Toyota Prado), at night, with a friendly, well-dressed and tidy driver, I, my wife and my parents were taken to this wonderful hotel. At the Africa Jade resep, we were met by a duty shift of administrators (two polite Tunisian guys), one unloaded my family's suitcases, the other, for a symbolic amount, at my request, arranged two good rooms (junior suite and suite) on the second floor with a beautiful view.
By the way, the rooms are of three standard sizes (standard, junior suite, and suite). The main guest part of the hotel consists of three floors, is equipped with elevators and is connected by a glass passage to the main hotel complex. Rooms with elements of African decor, simple in their decoration but not without comfort. The "problem" with the safe in the room is solved with lightning speed with a kind word and a small tip. The TV is not the latest generation (but they didn’t come for this ). Air conditioning in the room is built-in, centralized, but with individual adjustment. The rooms on the plate, plus a symbolic tip, were cleaned very well and every day. Shower gel, soap, shampoo, caps were regularly added with a large margin, with the replacement of bed linen and towels, everything is also ok. Sometimes there was bath salt and body lotion. There were no bathrobes, slippers, toothbrushes and toothpaste, tea accessories (but not five  ) The hotel area is just large, but not simple, not empty, very interesting and diverse in its filling. All kinds of parks squares gardens lawns hedges of thickets and corridors, recreation areas, etc. etc. (this must be seen). Gorgeous beach, where only hotel guests. It looks deserted, the horizon is clear of people, there are no neighbors, buildings, roads, hotels and other nonsense nearby, because of which on some beaches you feel like a sprat in a jar. This hotel is serviced daily by a large number of janitors, gardeners, maids, security guards and other inconspicuous staff. Sometimes I got up at dawn before sunrise at 4.30 am and saw these wonderful people, they clean and harrow the sand on the beach, cut and water the plants, sweep and wash hundreds of meters of paths. And most importantly, be quiet! They don't make noise. Africa Jade is an oasis in the desert. A very intelligent guy, smart, energetic, with a sense of tact and humor, he tries to understand the Russian soul, but he still remains an oriental temperamental person. It's very easy to offend, but he doesn't show it. Sometimes not very flattering reviews are written about him. But I am not a supporter of such reviews. Samy is a good helper. His job is a hotel guide, not a court slave. If you need him urgently, call him. I don't understand the people who yell at him. Samy has dozens of tourists, and hundreds during the year. But still there are people who think that Sami is assigned to them personally by such a page. Just be normal people with the staff and Samy in particular. And there are enough pompous posing as gods and kings among Italian tourists. Of the total number of about 80% year-round stays in this hotel. Samy asked us every day what else could be useful for us. Moreover, he found us both on the beach and in the restaurant and by the pool and in the lobby both in the morning and in the evening. Sami thank you for your concern from all my family. You are a super mega human! Respect and respect to you! If you are in Moscow, call me.
About Entertainment. Animation is active, but in Italian (most prevail). Almost every day I used a jet ski on the beach. Bike is a beast. This is a plus (it looks like I was the only one riding). There is a banana and other inflatable stuff, but it doesn't float. There is no Russian "tagil" there (this is good), and the elderly Italians apparently do not like such entertainment  , there are no legal quadrics. He flew with a parachute on a boat - not airborne  . The city of Korba on the edge of which the hotel is not touristic. You will not see souvenir shops. There are no people with a European appearance. My father and I were photographed locally on the phone. The little girl was pointing her fingers. In general, it is not comfortable, you feel like an alien. We went to the city of Nabeul 20 km from the hotel. There is something to catch there (oriental bazaar).
About the kitchen and the bar.... I know a lot about food, cuisine (occupation) and so - GOOD FELLOWS! They could not strain, but they try to 5 plus. The assortment is truly impressive, every day something new appeared (whole sword fish and other evil spirits ), very very tasty! I didn’t manage to try everything, let alone get fed up. Minus - no 24-hour food in the room. Coffee at four in the morning is a “trouble” (but not a fiver ) I tried all the local (Korba) wines in the hotel bars. Very good - I recommend.
On the third day, he moved his parents to a suite next to him (again, good people helped  ) began to coexist with his parents on balconies. Excursions? - not mine (read booklets about them). Tallaso therapy: mine have tried everything - they praise...
Separate respect to all the waiters, all the bartenders, and all the guys at the reception. They are very polite and attentive people. At the end of our stay, Samy came in person, although he might not have done so, and saw us off. There was a transfer (Toyota Land Cruiser 200) The driver slowed down every time I was afraid of not having time to take a picture of this or that detail of the landscape, as if I felt what exactly I wanted to take a picture of. It's petty but nice. While I was writing this review, I did not specifically go into the numbers of prices and tips in order to say one thing at the end. I do not know languages, and money is not the main thing, but everyone understands politeness, and Arabs from Tunisia who speak French and Russians from the nineties who do not even speak English. Be human and have a good rest!

I leave a review and impressions of our company about visiting the AFRIKA JADE 4 * hotel in Tunisia (village KORBA) from August 31 to September 14.2011.
The first time in this hotel, a large female company, we rested in the second half of September, last 2010. My travel agent (T / F "Soyuz", through the Tour Operator "Biblio-Globus") recommended this hotel to us for a relaxing, comfortable and safe stay.
And indeed, the hotel impressed us with its exotic design, well-groomed and equipped territory, the cleanest beach, the correctness and friendliness of the staff, and excellent service. And all of the above left the most pleasant, warm and comfortable memories of a holiday spent in complete safety.
This year, we had no doubts about which hotel to go to in Tunisia. And we again chose AFRIKA JADE. Our company consisted of 7 - and women aged 29 to 57 years, and we booked 4 rooms.
He masterfully portrayed horror, thanked us for the information, and said that it was very unpleasant for him, because he had known each of the service personnel in this hotel for 8 years, and he could not imagine that any of these honest people could do that. act.
The 2nd theft took place in the room of Dasha Serebrennaya and Tatyana Filinova. The first lost 100 US dollars, and the second lost 100 euros from!! ! ! ! locked up! ! ! ! safe.
We immediately informed ourselves about this. Without listening to the details, SAMI began to run around the hotel lobby at breakneck speed, saying that he would immediately inform the owner of the hotel about this, periodically jumping out into the street, along with ......a suitcase carrier !! ! ! pretended to call someone. But, he in every possible way referred to being busy with other tourists and a lot of work. We asked to arrange a meeting with the owner of the hotel. We were received by the reception chief named MUAZ, and with the translation by ourselves, after listening carefully, he said that money does not disappear from the closed safes in their hotel ! ! ! ! True, we were also told that a meeting would be arranged with the staff. And if someone stole something from us, then it will definitely be returned to us! ! ! Because in such cases everything is returned. My question is that our theft is not the only case in the hotel? ? ? , the conversation moved to another topic. Realizing that we would not be helped at this level, we began to insist on a meeting with the owner of the hotel. So another 3 days passed.
Nobody accepted us.
SAMI worked hard with other tourists. Each time we met (2-3 times a day) we reminded him that we are waiting for some information about our problem, or, in extreme cases, at least an elementary apology from the hotel administration. SAMI shrugged us off each time like annoying flies. At an information meeting with newly arrived tourists, we again approached SAMI to find out something about thefts from our rooms, he asked what we want? We reminded him that we are his tourists like everyone else, and that, unlike new arrivals, we already have problems that have not been resolved so far. We were told that there were no problems, in fact, no. Then we told the newly arrived tourists about the theft in the hotel, and SAMI, waving his head, smiling, began to say that everything we say here is not true, that this is not possible in Tunisia, that we invented everything ! ! ! !
It became clear to us that we would not get anything from anyone, nothing in this hotel. That there is no one to protect the rights of Russian tourists here. And no one really cares about anything.
We told ourselves that we were very disappointed with his behavior, the lack of help from his company, the hotel administration, which is strange for us that the hotel is not at all interested in its reputation and no one has brought us at least an elementary apology, and that we are more to them we will not arrive, and we will also report this theft to the travel agent and tour operator, we will write our reviews on all possible sites.
To all this we will receive a wonderful answer from ourselves: “Well, you won’t come to our hotel anymore, so do what you want in your Russia, at least complain, at least swear - we don’t care! ! ! . Don't stop me from working here! ! »
So we did not wait for any reaction from the hotel administration, the administration of the host.
In fairness, it must be said that at the time of our departure, when I asked for the position of the hotel representative who spoke with us and wrote it down in a notebook, already on the bus, SAMI said that he regrets our problems, apologizes, and will definitely inform his administration about this .
We are very disappointed by the hypocritical behavior of the representative of the host at the SAMI hotel, the inaction and disrespect for Russian tourists on the part of the hotel administration, and most importantly, the very facts of theft from Russian women.
Everything else that caught our eye compared to our last year's stay in this hotel is absolutely experienced, and we simply note it as a fact. Namely:
- a very unkempt area that starts badly! ! ! clean up hours at 9 am;
- the beach is bad and rarely cleaned. Full of cigarette butts, small garbage. There is practically no security. During the day on the beach, from 9 o'clock, 1 young boy of 22 years old is on duty.
He is a lifeguard, a guard, a cleaner;
- abandoned lawns, garden;
- the hotel staff has become very intrusive and not correct (waiters, male masseurs);
- food is more scarce and monotonous, except for weekends, when Tunisians came to rest with their large families;
- from the animation - at 11 o'clock volleyball on the beach, and on weekends there was still darts at 12 o'clock and a children's disco. It's all.
