New country, new experiences!
We have been at the hotel since June 10th. Our vacation flew by in a flash and 2 weeks as never before. They settled us by 1.00 "according to the protocol", arrived at the hotel early in the morning. There are no complaints, since this is a world practice, check-in after 14.00. We had breakfast, lunch, and then just handed over the keys to the room. The room was good, everything worked, clean. Amazing sea view! We enjoyed it every day and did not regret a bit that we immediately took a room with a sea view! Thank you! I will say right away that we were not lucky with the cleaning lady, we paid, and then stopped, as she cleaned badly in both cases... lazy of course... everything is superficial .... the bed should be changed every 2 days, but if you don’t tell the receptionist, then they don’t change it. Towels were no problem, always clean and fresh. In general, we did not bother .... As for food, there was always a choice of what to eat, delicious meat and fish, often grilled tuna, we love it very much. Almost nothing spicy, harisa separately.
The food is focused on the Slavs. Yes. , As for the Slavs, it's a shame for many Russians .... not in English, not in French, not in Arabic, they did not bother to learn a single word at home .... They yell in Russian what they want, like from their ora the Russian language into English should be automatically translated .... not well-mannered, rude to the waiters, dirty... honestly fu shame! Arabs are understandably not very clean and lazy to boot, but some individuals of Russians surpass them! Doesn't mean everyone is like that, but we were shocked! Food is collected “like the last time” and half remains on the tables .... they carry bread, puffs, cheese, mvslo, fruits into bags .... no words . . because everything is included, I don’t want to eat..... I don’t understand .... Everyone greets them when they enter the elevator, walk down the corridor, the hall, everyone except the Russians. Forever dissatisfied, embittered and proud! This is what overshadowed our vacation, but you can’t influence it, you just need to look for a hotel with the least number of Russians visiting . .
The territory itself is not big, but very cozy and beautiful, clean, tidy. In the morning we were at the sea (crossing the road), the beach is small. but the beach fights were cleaned, cleanly, but there were algae, this is the sea... There were no problems with sun loungers .... we came late at 10 (we didn’t get up early, didn’t take anything, we didn’t spend any energy or nerves or time on it), everything was fine, we were immediately put under the fungus beds, we always carry our beach towels everywhere. In general, we were fine, the whole hotel knew us from the staff, they came to the restaurant. our table was waiting for us, in case it was busy. we were escorted to the free, brought in glasses of water and wine, but if we suddenly did not have time. we went to take it ourselves... Yes, they treat foreigners better, and there is an excuse for this - they are also friendly like us, just like at the reception and on the beach and on the territory.
The main thing is to be friendly and learn the words of greeting, farewell and your main desires in English. It's not hard. We travel a lot (on the site not long ago and only started writing reviews for about 3 years), and so we traveled all over Europe, and we always study the “charter” of the country we visit, learn and print words in the language of that country. It's always good to hear from the people you run into in stores. on the street. restaurants and hotel. + English within the school curriculum, in any case, we never got lost, and we can always explain what we want.
As for excursions, be sure to visit the Sahara desert! Otherwise, sitting in a hotel, you will not learn anything about the country of Tunisia. This is impressive and gives the opportunity to see and get a little acquainted with the camp from the inside. We liked it very much, yes, the road takes most of the time, but how else? ?
The Colosseum in El-Jem, the Bedouins and the desert itself, Oases and mirages……And driving in jeeps through the sand dunes, emotions went wild! ! And camels, holosie are so cute! ! ! And you are in a caravan, in national clothes .... along the sand… along the dunes…. . yes, not by yourself, they accompany you, but this does not prevent you from getting impressions! Sunrise Sunset….
And a trip to Carthage! ! Surely, this is a story…to be and not to see is a crime. Most importantly, she said . . yes shopping, for us it was dishes and leather bags. I’ll clarify, luggage bags, we tested one, handed it over at the airport when we flew back everything was fine! We are glad. They bought my husband a successful tablet bag and a travel backpack for me. Great shampoo for problematic hair with tfaly, I confess I carried almost 4 liters. home, that would be enough until the next time. Argan oil - yes, definitely take it.
