At 52, I felt like a 20-year-old happy kid. We got acquainted with wonderful people, every day there is a disco (hello DJ Jamaica). I took $ 100 with me, the rest, as needed, was withdrawn from an ATM at the airport.
When you check in, for 20 dinars we got a beautiful room with a view of the sea and the pool, and on the right is the back entrance of the hotel bar, but this is a separate issue))). The toilet seat in the room was broken. Without saying anything to anyone, the toilet seat was changed the next day (they left 3 dinars on the table for the cleaner)). I can’t say anything about television, since I didn’t even stick the plug into the outlet. At the hotel in the lobby there is a shop where Armen and Mohammed work. Armen practically speaks Russian. Mohammed English and Rush communicated without problems. Several times they helped out about the Internet that had fallen off, the phone worked for distribution (there were problems at work). I have an ooredoo sim. It seems that the scale is full, but the Internet is like 2G. Origin is said to be much more stable in this area. Probably due to the proximity of the airport. I borrowed water and cigarettes from them several times)). Prices are certainly not the same as in General, higher, but not by much. Just right for a hotel shop. If you go to General, then you must also take into account the cost of a taxi. I bought an inexpensive chain with a pendant from Armen (he made a good discount).
In general, if you want to get the most out of your vacation, do not skimp on tips (2-3 dinars) for the staff and smile. In response, you will receive smiles, greetings and increased attention.

We went to the Colosseum in El Jem, 130 dinars by taxi round trip and 2 hours waiting (10 dinars ticket, the museum is included in the price). Sea of ​ ​ impressions. There is also a museum (a lot of interesting things), but it is better to get to it by the same taxi. Somewhere 1 km from the Colosseum, it was hard in the heat. Twice agreed with taxi drivers for friends in the Colosseum))). For which they fell into disfavor with our guide))). Next year I will try to stay in the same hotel.
