I want to share my experience of visiting Tunisia for the first and last time. Let's start with the fact that we arrived at the hotel at 22 o'clock and we were not fed, as it always was always in Egypt, we could of course go to a cafe to eat, but it turned out that everywhere they accept only local currency at the reception, there was no money, and banks they work with 9 to 13. So we went to bed hungry.
The number is of course a different story, it's not even 3 *. Three days later, 2 clean towels disappeared from our room. Of course, for a long time we could not understand where they were, but when 2 girls (Algerians or locals - who can figure them out) entered the room that was locked, as it turned out to be the next room and, apparently, the key came up to our doors, looked at my husband smiled and closed the door. This of course was the last straw. We went to the reception and realized that if you do not know English, then no one will help you, because in Russian they only know how to ask for money. They took us to the director, who also does not know Russian, and when I asked him to change the lock in the room, he replied that this was not possible. He said that he might move us to another room tomorrow, so we slept propping the door with a stool.
So in 10 days my husband and I were poisoned 2 times, the local doctor sold us pills 3 times more expensive than they were in the pharmacy. Animation is of course rubbish, 9 people who really do nothing, it was the worst animation I have seen, and the worst thing is that it was repeated every other day. When there was a heavy downpour, our balcony was flooded, but as I later realized walking along the corridor and watching how people were sitting under the door, their rooms were also flooded, the water stood on the stairwells and in the corridors.

But my biggest disappointment was the sea and the beach, the city beach is not closed, on which there are a lot of locals, they pee and poop right under the stairs that lead to the sea, the stench is incredible there, there is no shower, no bar, no animation on the beach not even music. The sea is dirty, bags, wrappers from chocolates and bottles - this is what you can find in it, when you dived with a mask, you saw only garbage at the bottom, there are almost no fish. I think for another 10 years and no one will fly there, because the Tunisians overrule their sea, that it will even be scary to swim in it.
In general, for that kind of money, I would fly to Sharm to the Tropitel hotel and live in a bungalow with chic. They clean up badly, regardless of whether you give tea or not, if you give a dollar, they will leave you 2 mints, but the towels will not be changed, but simply folded neatly, the bed linen is stained and hairy, and it also smelled strongly of bleach. There were only 2 sockets in the room - one for the telly and another 1 in the bathroom. But as it turned out, we still had a good room, since we had air conditioning and a balcony - many didn’t even have that.
