In the morning we met our Russians in the dining room with the words: you won’t die of hunger, but there is nothing but: sweets and fried...
After breakfast, they came up to ask for another room... it was proposed to pay $ 80 extra. We made a fuss and ended up getting a decent room.
In the future, all new arrivals were placed in room 113 for the next payment for the best room! And we must pay tribute: THEY RECEIVE ADDITIONAL INCOME IN DOLLARS.
And now the cons: a refrigerator for rent for 10 dinars / day, no paid Wi-Fi in the rooms, the Internet is only at the reception and it’s very bad, it loads well when there is no one. We were still lucky with the room, everything worked for us, but many people quarreled because of the non-working air conditioner, TV.
The food is essentially monotonous, there are a lot of flies in the restaurant that constantly land on your plate. 3 meals a day in the main restaurant and pizza and pancakes between lunch and dinner by the pool.
Sea and beach. Most people prefer to hang out near the pool, so there will always be free sunbeds on the beach. The first 3 days of rest, the coast was very dirty in algae, packages of all kinds of packages, in general, brrr....after walking a couple of meters from the coast, the sea itself is clean. Then there was a day with strong waves, all the muck was washed away and until the end of the rest there was a transparent, crystal clear calm sea, only occasionally you could stumble upon a plastic bag. The sand is white and fine, pleasant, cleaned every morning.
The location of the hotel is not very convenient, to get to the shops you need to either walk along the coast or take a taxi.
Usually beach towels are given against a deposit, but we didn’t have enough, we had to buy them ourselves at the hotel store.
Water can be obtained in a bottle after 10 pm at the bar, the rest of the time you can drink from a cooler at the bar, but the taste leaves much to be desired, water was also bought at our own expense.
I can’t say anything about the animation, I was interested in a beach holiday, I have never been to the pool for all the time.
In general, a good sea, beautiful territory stretch the hotel up to 4, but it’s rather boring, in the neighboring hotel there were constant discos in the evenings, it was much more fun)) so try to diversify your vacation in this hotel with excursions, otherwise you can die from boredom.
The area is large, but a little neglected. Ancient palm trees, near which standard photos will not work, there was no green grass either - the heat turned it into hay. The rooms are shabby, very old towels, the smell of chlorine. Some of the bungalows smelled bad of sewage, we used air fresheners in our room and became tolerant.
The beach is relatively clean, the sea too, the conditions are good, but again the same towels: they were either not (from little to bring them) or also so old that it is a shame to give such people.
The most egregious were the thefts from the rooms - this is normal for Tunisians, during the trip they stole two charging phones and money from a wallet from acquaintances. We kept everything near the safe, so it passed.
What made it so good was the food. Female and diverse. Amused. Sometimes shrimp or mussels for lunch, chicken, veal, lots of pastries and unlimited melons and watermelons.
The coffee is awful, made of cola and yuppie drinks.
Service so-so. Dirty dishes, forks, impudent eternally dissatisfied waiters.
The trip was inexpensive, so there were no high expectations, the rest is always good, but I do not recommend this hotel.
Check-in is fast and hassle-free. The double rooms are clean and comfortable. The territory of the hotel is large, green, well-groomed. The food is varied and tasty. Animation at the highest level!
The check-in took place , , traditionally, , . We arrived at 9 in the morning, they said with apologies to wait until 14, supposedly there were no places. For $ 10, a 3-room bungalow was immediately found.
The hotel is wonderful if you understand what Arabic service is and are ready to put up with it. Huge territory in palm trees, blooming bunguinvilleas and oleanders. Three pools, one of them is just gigantic. Beautiful buildings in the Andalusian style... White walls, blue balconies, many colorful details. Stylish. Everything is well maintained, cleaned, the staff is unobtrusive, polite. 300 meters to the sea on the territory of the hotel, then a beautiful gallery with columns, and along the coastal sand 70 meters to the sunbeds, wooden flooring covered with rugs. The sea was wonderful, some algae washed ashore in the afternoon, but tolerable. Sunbeds, umbrellas, mattresses for free. Camels walked along the coastal strip, but we were not annoyed, entertainment.
The room was in Moorish style. Bungalow from a living room with upholstered furniture and a TV, two bedrooms and three bathrooms. One washbasin and toilet were out of order. My husband and I used another bathroom, everything worked there, the plumbing is almost new, without rusty drips. The bed was comfortable, the linen was clean, the towels were sometimes a bit old. Cleaned, towels changed every day. Safe for free. Not everywhere there is a mosquito net. We took the fumigator with us. If you don't mind, it's a great room. Cozy, bright, comfortable.
The food was usually very tasty. We didn't expect lobsters and black caviar, so we were quite satisfied with the menu. There was meat, fish, fruits, cakes, and national cuisine. I especially liked the local wine. All local drinks in the restaurant and pool bar are free of charge. The dishes are clean, but it is better to wipe the glasses additionally. The service is unenthusiastic, but quite polite.
What didn't you like? Rogue guide, rain on the day of arrival, our beloved compatriots who were there in the vast majority.
The overall impression. . . it's heaven. Eden is located in Hammamet. If you are looking for an economical, but decent option for a vacation, then you are here. We warmly recommend and look forward to coming back.
1. The hotel impressed with its scale and interior. The territory is green. Everywhere is clean and tidy.
2. Food - varied. Meat - all kinds + seafood (the choice is small, but enough). For breakfast - we were pleased with freshly squeezed juices. Fruits - melon, watermelon, grapes, apples, pears. Drinks - water and beer (everywhere), wine in the restaurant, everything else - in the main bar.
3. Number - we lived together in a bungalow. The size is a small one-room apartment. The room was cleaned regularly. Perhaps the room needs a facelift, but on trifles. We did not pay attention to this.
4. The beach is large. The sea is warm, but not deep. You have to walk a couple of meters from the coast. It was not always possible to find a free sunbed right away, but the guys from the beach solved this issue in an instant.
5. Staff - polite and friendly. They speak Arabic, French and English.
6. There is animation, but the program is not very rich.
and do not know the measure in drinking free alcoholic beverages, a freebie, then they suffer from their own gluttony. There are two free bars and one paid bar on site, and there, yes, all drinks are paid.
