We stayed at this hotel as a family with 2 children (3 years old and 1 year old). We went in late August - early September 2016, just returned and all the memories are fresh. Before Tunisia, they were in different countries and different hotels, there is something to compare objectively. Immediately upon arrival, I didn’t like a lot, but then I got used to it, so I’ll describe the dry residue.
In short, we can say that the hotel has great potential, which does not develop. Can't or won't.

1. Sea and beach
The sea and the beach itself are magnificent. The nature is wonderful, the purest water and a wonderful sandy beach. There are no unpleasant sea odors. When the sea is calm, the bottom of the buoys is visible - the water is clear.
But! ! The hotel does not take good care of the beach. Perhaps this is due to the fact that the beach is municipal, but it is really poorly cleaned. The main problem is the dirt from camels and horses, which are constantly driven along the shore to ride tourists.
Animals defecate right on the shore and it's all washed into the sea. The person who is responsible for cleaning the beach is more busy with his own affairs - he cleans the beach for 10 minutes, then repairs the boat for half a day and sells the drums. Algae mixed with animal poop lie on the shore. AND IT'S SO MUCH! LOTS OF! ! When the sea is rough and waves begin, it is all washed away into the sea. So it is not uncommon to find camel feces in the sea. Not nice. During the 11 days that we were at the hotel, no one removed the heaps of algae brought ashore. For nature - plus, for cleaning - minus.

2. Meals and All Inclusive system
This is the second minus in the hotel. The person who wrote here that this hotel does not have a restaurant, but a dining room, was absolutely right. The hotel has a main restaurant where breakfast and dinner are served, and there are also 2 restaurants near the beach that combine for lunch. Unfortunately, there are no a-la-carte restaurants in the hotel.
The food is really boring and monotonous.
Dishes on the menu change only in places. . For example, pancakes are not fried for breakfast, but ready-made pancakes are reheated. For lunch, the main dish is fish or chicken fried over a fire. For something more or less normal, like fries, there is a huge queue. Everything is burnt, greasy, the smell is on the whole hotel. . No juices, only powdered drinks. There is no children's food at all.
There is practically nothing to eat between breakfast, lunch and dinner. The choice is minimal and in fact comes down to sweets left over from lunch and pizza. However, it is also difficult to call it a pizza, in fact it is a ready-made dough with tomato paste spread on it and heated in the oven.
Dirty dishes are common. All food is exposed openly, many flies fly over it, which constantly sit on food. . We even found dead flies and someone's hair in the food itself. . Very unpleasant.
The main disadvantage in this is that everyone was poisoned from food or water.
You have to be very careful with food. A woman with 3 children rested with us, whose temperature rose to 40 degrees from poisoning. Moreover, not only children were poisoned, but also adult strong men.
Alcohol in the hotel is a separate issue. It is locally produced and it was simply terrible to drink it, even beer. On the first day I drank 1 shot of whiskey, after that I got poisoned and lay for 2 days.
Be careful.

3. Room, territory, pools and the building of the hotel itself
This is the best point. The hotel itself, in terms of location and construction, is wonderful. The hotel has a huge potential and if the management paid more attention to food and the beach, the hotel would have every chance to qualify for 5 *.
I must say that the hotel is huge. The beach and dining rooms are clearly not designed for 100% occupancy. We walked around the territory, noticed that more than half of the rooms in the far part of the hotel were empty, and for a very long time. Entire buildings are empty.
The rooms are open, they store mattresses, cribs, and some other things. .
However, for all its vastness, there is no territory for walking. There are paths between the buildings, but everything is very crowded, so there is nowhere to walk.
Our room was objectively good. In the main building on the 1st floor, exit to the courtyard, quiet and peaceful. There are no strangers, and in the evenings the music from the animation is not so much audible. Walk to the sea and the dining room - close. The room had an LCD TV, a common air conditioning system, everything worked, everything is fine. On one day, hot water was turned off for almost a day, but it was some kind of global accident. . There were no Russian channels on TV. Someone here wrote that the bungalow had constant problems with the sewerage, clogged due to sand. We didn't have that.
The room was cleaned every day, everything is quite clean. Every day they put shampoos and shower gel, but bed linen was not changed. . I must say that the dirt in the room is applied very quickly.
The main reason for this is the sandy beach.
The hotel has a very unusual system with changing towels. They are picked up during the morning cleaning and are given out clean only after lunch. This is not convenient, because when you come before dinner from the sea and take a shower, there is nothing to dry yourself with. The problem is solved simply, we hid 1 or 2 towels in a suitcase.
From what we didn't like, it's problems with leisure time for children. We found a playground only towards the end of the holiday. She looks sad - one slide and a swing. . We talked to people, they say that a dead rat lay on the site for several days. Complained to reception, zero response. In the end, they removed it themselves.
There are many bars in the hotel, but all are closed. . The potential is great, but not used. .

4. Animation and daytime activities
Daytime entertainment in the hotel at least. Water aerobics and sometimes volleyball. .
Evening animation is quite sad, rather reminiscent of amateur performances in a drama club. .
A couple of animators are trying to entice the audience. . For children, the evening animation lasts about 10 minutes. They include classic "hits" from the series "YUPI Ya Ya, YUPI E E" and memorized movements are danced. . No costumes, no performances. . There is none of this. .
Moreover, there is almost nothing for children in the hotel at all. Sad platform, 1 water slide with a paddling pool and that's it. .

5. Contingent at the hotel
The main contingent in the hotel - Arabs from Algeria and Libya, approximately 80%. There are few Russians, there were 6-8 families with us, very nice people. There are no Ukrainians.
Irina, Anatoly, Sanya from Belgorod, Yura from Orenburg - hello everyone! : )
Among the guests of the hotel - all very decent people. No cattle, rudeness and rudeness - no.
Confuses the attitude of Arabs towards white children. It is perfectly normal for them to run up to the child, start hugging him, kissing him, taking pictures with him. Intrusive…
The hotel staff is generally normal, but there are a number of people who are not happy with life. .
They grumble something under their breath in Arabic and the Russians are clearly not respectful. And if a Frenchman or a German is standing nearby, then they will bow before them, they will put fresh food, smile, and immediately become polite. .

6. Climate and weather
For children, the end of August - the beginning of September is a very comfortable time. Warm, the sun does not bake much, the sea is warm.
Another feature is very high humidity. We had a wet bed all the time, clothes in the room. . But that's not much of a concern.

But then he was small and he did not need it. And everything you needed was there - a pool, a water slide, a beach with yellow sand, a huge bathroom in the room, normal food. We were satisfied.

Hotel.
I chose this hotel primarily based on reviews. I found good reviews - I was looking for a hotel with an operator. I didn't make a mistake. The hotel is only 2 years old as it was given for sale in Russia. In the bulk, Germans / French / Italians rest there. Very few Poles/Russians. Accordingly, the pros: good service, excellent food, a wonderful hotel with its own white sandy beach. Cons: no one speaks Russian. Although, as I later noted, practically no one in the country knows Russian. And this can also be attributed to the pluses - there is a good opportunity to practice in knowledge of the English language (my husband has French). The location of our hotel is between Yasmine (Jasmine) Hammamet and Old Hammamet, in the so-called "Gardens of Hammamet". I also attribute this location to the pluses - far from the hustle and bustle of the main tourist areas, if possible, get there in 5-10 minutes for 4-7 dinars (80-140 rubles) one way. I did not like the location of hotels, for example, in Yasmine Hammamet itself - all the hotels on the "first" coastline have a beach across a very busy road.
I won’t write about the flight, they brought me to the hotel around 8 in the morning. Knowing that they might not give a room until 2 pm, I put shoes / swimwear / shorts / T-shirts very close in my suitcase. At the reception, they filled out a card, they immediately put on bracelets for us, they told us to come by 12 o'clock. We changed in the toilet, put the rest of our things in a suitcase. First we went for breakfast. Breakfast is like everywhere else. Then we went for a walk around the hotel. The hotel (due to the fact that it is one of the old ones) is surrounded by greenery, already very large palm trees, many flowers, good care of the territory as a whole.
Then we went to the spa. We went to the hammam and massage. And so the time flew by.
Number.
At 13 o'clock we came to the reception and we were taken to the room. We booked a bungalow. Our bungalow was territorially right behind the reception. Very comfortably. The room is standard. Before that, I had seen pictures, so I knew everything. The podium with the bathtub is cool. But the only thing, after our baths, water constantly flowed onto the floor by the sink. I wiped it with a foot towel and left it on the floor. They changed it properly. And in general everything changed properly. We put 2 liters of water in the refrigerator every day. Every day I left 2 dinars under my pillow. They were taken away. Cleaned like normal (I did not look under the bed). Figures from towels are not twisted if someone is waiting. : ))
No interruptions in water/light/air conditioning. Soap sets are placed in time. The door to the balcony worked fine. The light bulb on the balcony itself didn't work, but we didn't need it. Be sure to bring a clothesline with you. We didn't have one, so we dried everything on the railing. During the night everything dried up, but sometimes the wind blew something to the ground. But no one took what fell - it lay like that until you go down and pick it up. The safe was not used. Everything was left in a suitcase under lock and key. Nobody stole anything.
Staff.
The attitude of the staff in our hotel was just wonderful - the staff always greets and smiles. I already wrote about ignorance of Russian. But all the staff are diligently trying to understand what you are saying in your high school English or French. : ) The only thing I didn't like was the bar staff - always gloomy and dissatisfied.
In the restaurant, we found waiters to our liking, who were given 1-3 dinars (20-60 rubles) once a day and they were even more welcoming, decorated the table with flower petals and candles and already knew what we would drink. Very nice people.
I won’t write about the restaurant and food in detail - there are a lot of everything, varied, delicious. My fussy husband always found something to eat. And this is already very good!
Animation.
Animation at the hotel is aimed at the majority of the contingent - the French / Germans / Italians. And, to be honest, sometimes it reminded me of village amateur performances. Here is the question of the language barrier for many and the lack of understanding of humor due to our mentality, probably. Therefore, in the evenings we either left for the city, or were on excursions, or sat on the Internet (talked with relatives).
Weather and beach.
The weather during our stay was excellent. A couple of times they wrote that the air is + 38C, but it is not clear - in the shade or in the sun. We did not lie like corpses - we swam a lot, swam, moved. But yes - if you just lie for a long time (even in the shade) it becomes hot.
Water on sensations sometimes reached +32C. For me - it's great! And the clean sea!
True, when it storms, algae begin to nail to the shore, which no one sees the next day. Probably removed. Sometimes, yes, sometimes there is rubbish. I assume that this is what they throw from the sides of the so-called "pirate" ships.
For 3 days the wind rose and changed direction - it began to blow from the Sahara, so a lot of sand was flying. But be patient. On one of those days, we just went on an excursion, so it was even for the better - it was easier to endure the heat away from the sea.
The change in the wind caused the cooling of the sea, probably to 25-26C. It seemed much colder.
In general, before lunch - the sea is calm and you can swim. After lunch, it starts to storm, and then the fun is already to its fullest - climb into the waves and ride them. Very cool and fun! So much cheer and positivity! You can easily stay without panties. : )) True, the water is very salty, so getting into your eyes is always not very pleasant.
Sometimes jellyfish swam, 20 centimeters in diameter. But not very often. One day my husband accidentally kicked one. Received a small burn, which quickly passed.
Camels and horses walk along the beach. Yes, shit, unpleasant. In general, the beach is clean.
Regarding the beds. Yes, they are old. They should definitely take foam or mattresses (there is on the beach). We came to the beach at 9-10 am, you can always find sunbeds. If you leave the beach, but plan to return, leave some of the things on the sunbeds besides the towels. There was an unpleasant incident on the last day - we left only towels, came after dinner, and other people were on our sunbeds, and our towels were thrown on the fungus. From the explanations with these people (foreigners), we realized that the beach staff freed them in this way our sunbeds. Like this. I didn’t want to swear (it wasn’t the mood) and we just found other sunbeds not far away. Although I was very angry.
I can't say enough about the pool. We passed by - there are a lot of people, all the sunbeds seem to occupy a wound. But we came to the sea, so we were not interested.
The country. Excursions.
As the inhabitants of Tunisia call themselves - yes, we are a third world country. Outside the hotels, everything is like in Egypt and Turkey - dirty, garbage. We are no longer surprised by this. Unpleasant? Yes. But if you remember that having driven away from Moscow in the direction of 500 kilometers, everything is also very sad, you no longer focus on this. That's all. Spaces, horizons, terrain, the whole country is very interesting. If desired, everyone can find something that will be interesting for him to watch.
We decided that we would watch the country. Therefore, we chose 2 excursions. The first is Tunisia, Carthage, Sidi Bou Said, Mount Zingwan. The second is a two-day trip to the Sahara.
We went on an excursion with a private guide, a Tunisian who speaks good Russian, whose wife is Russian. We met him on the Internet. He carries out excursions in a rented car, takes two pairs and drives around the country.
Pros - he can stop almost anywhere to take a picture of landscapes or something interesting, he will take a picture of you (a couple), he sometimes delivers to places where tourists are not taken, tries to take you to the sights before the arrival of all sightseeing buses.
Cons - a sedan car, not designed for oversized passengers (however, we had no problems with this), the guide is not very good - until you ask, he doesn’t say much, at the end of the trip to the Sahara he had problems with the car renter , so the ending of this tour was a little spoiled. But we bombarded him with questions about life in Tunisia, it is very interesting to listen to.
In the evenings we went to Yasmine several times. Taxi is cheap. Walked the streets, went to the shops. I especially liked the fixed price shops. Everything is cheaper in them, for example, magnets can be bought there for 1-1.5 dinars. There are barkers on the streets who immediately determine that you are Russian and you can hear: "Come in, look, it's cheap! ". But no one touches anyone with their hands, not enough. It's nice (after Egypt, for example). : ) In Yasmin itself, as already mentioned, there are many horse-drawn carriages and tourist carts. Therefore, yes - the city does not smell of roses. : (
Spa.
We deliberately decided to devote our free time to relaxing in the spa. We were approached by the spa manager on the first day, who speaks quite tolerably in Russian. We took courses. My husband "antistress" 6 days (bargained for 650 dinars instead of 700), I "weight loss and elasticity" 6 days (bargained for 870 dinars instead of 930). The Russian girl Julia works in the spa itself. Very pleasant. You can ask her all sorts of questions.
I liked it - very nice staff, good masseurs. My husband’s course included one type of massage, but by agreement, he changed each time to a new type of massage, so instead of daily Californian massages, he tried Chinese, Ayurvedic, Indian, golfer, and stone.
Didn't really like the lack of hot water (there was no pressure) in the spa itself during our stay. Therefore, they took us to another hotel for water procedures (10 minutes there) by car. This generally took a lot of time.
We planned to visit the spa in the heat (from 11 am to 2 pm), so that we could have lunch later. But because of such trips, they periodically came to the end of lunch. It was not so critical (because almost immediately after lunch they had an afternoon snack : ) ), but nevertheless. . .
Summary. My personal opinion is that the country is interesting. There is something to watch. You must visit there once!
Don't stay in a hotel. Don't focus on negative things.
If you are planning a bed rest, you need to take the choice of a hotel very seriously, because. Information from tourists about hotels is very diverse.
We were lucky with the hotel. We liked everything very much. Especially clean and warm sea.
In general, I am a person who does not like to return to the same country and hotel twice, but this is where I would return. And the problem of choosing a hotel most likely would not have stood.
If you have any questions, please contact.

I went over a year ago and decided to write a review now. Then everything seemed normal, but this year I was also in Tunisia, in another hotel, and it was a ruined vacation, so Paradise Palace is a great hotel, I just realized it now. Firstly, the attendants, it is clear that they underwent European training, they are moderately polite, without fawning and familiarity, they know how to show good manners - a smile, a few words on the topic whether everything suits you, a wish for a good rest, no questions of a personal nature - and - the distance, how respect for personal space. … More ▾ I went over a year ago and decided to write a review now.

I got a good room on the 3rd floor, with a balcony and a sea view. The boy helped to carry the suitcase, showed what and how in the room, after the tip showed how to handle the air conditioner -
well, like if it’s cold, then it’s heating too, click here and here. And in general, if I suddenly don’t understand something, well, like how the TV works : ) then always call me (name), I’ll come and be happy to help. I did not have Tunisian dinars, and I gave him the smallest I had - 5 euros. That's probably why he decided that I'm stupid and I need help in pressing buttons))
The room is very spacious, in the same hotel I saw smaller ones, the furniture is not very new, but the mattress is comfortable, the bathroom is recumbent, the shower and toilet are clean. Cleaning daily and with high quality (she left a tip, in Tunisia it is customary to put them under the pillow, if they don’t take them on the table or bedside table, they are forbidden, theft is considered)
Drinks are free, every day the maid puts mineral water and cola in the fridge (I went on an all-inclusive system)
Looking ahead that in the safe kept only a passport and a credit card,
and big money.
Tunisian dinars, euros (a couple of hundred in total), phone, laptop, camera, expensive things, branded glasses - everything was stuffed into bedside tables or lay on the table - nothing was missing.
So, after checking in, I went to the reception desk and asked to rent a safe (it is in the room, but you have to pay for it). I paid, thanked the receptionist for a good room, gave him a tip of 5 euros too
(usually people write you need 20 in your passport, but I thought that if 10 people give 5 euros a day, then this is good money for Tunisia). On his face, I did not notice disappointment, which was not enough, on the contrary, he was delighted.
Now for the hotel: the territory is large and well-groomed. There is a swimming pool,
but since the sea is nearby, and you can breathe chlorine at home.
The hotel was half empty, the beginning of March all the same. Water +15 air +20 and a little higher. I swam, and at the end of the rest I swam for 15 minutes already, the sensations after such a swim are drop dead.
Food: since it is not the season, I expected worse. But no, the choice is enormous, everything is delicious, everything is fresh.
I won’t write about excursions, there is so much information about them. Sahara is worth it, but 2 days is not enough, if you are a group, rent a car (preferably a jeep and drive on your own), at least for 3 days.
If you have a lot of time, then there is one thing that the cameleer told me about. Overnight stays in the desert are periodically organized - that is, they drive far enough, set up camp, tents... but this contraption is of course an amateur, of course they go in a group.
I will describe an independent sortie to Tunisia and Carthage (of course, I examined a small part). I took a taxi to the station (inexpensive, a few dinars), there was a train ticket (there and back about 10 dinars), I drove to Tunisia (the capital). I had a plan like the subway (it looks more like a tram or commuter train)
get to the station where there is an entrance to the ruins of Carthage.
But since the train was late, and time was running out, I took a taxi.
It turned out to be expensive by local standards, about 50 dinars, we drove for 30-40 minutes and, in my opinion, drove the farthest possible road)) We arrived.
The taxi driver insisted on "wait" but I refused, because they warned me that while waiting they turn on the counters and, as a result, very good. it will be expensive.
I walked around the ruins, climbed over the red ribbon no entry allowed, walked around there. Got out. The grandfather guard, who was watching all this disgrace, when I climbed back, shook his head disapprovingly, "lady, very money. "
Then he asked "Rashien? " I nodded. He also nodded, like "yeah,
Now everything is clear" ))
I walked back, there was a pointer where the center of the town. wandered around a little, then found the station. I bought a ticket (a dinar with a tail to Tunisia), it takes 20-25 minutes to go.
I walked around Tunisia a little, then I went to the station, found my train (with difficulty). A bunch of railway workers and policemen helped me to find the right platform, and everyone was very friendly, they tried to help, they found some respectable guy there on the platform, in a suit and with a briefcase, and asked him to put me on the right train, he needed to go on him. In addition to him, I was immediately taken under the patronage of several students and female students who speak English quite tolerably.
Well landing it was something with something. The train was announced to another platform. The whole crowd, right along the rails, began to climb to the other side. They climbed over. The train was not the same. They announced again to another one, the crowd rushed back, fortunately the vestibules were opened and there was no need to jump on the rails. the guy with the briefcase grumbled, "disgraceful. It must be strange for you, right? " Well, yes, actually. ))
The students laughed and said that this often happens here, like don't worry, we'll all get where we need to go.
Eventually arrived. I took a taxi from the station to the hotel.
In addition to the above, it so happened that I also talked with Tunisians. both with Muslim ladies in headscarves, and Muslim ones without.
Also boys and men. These were mostly students and students,
young workers (not physically), employees, medical staff.
Well, what can I say - Tunisians are kind, sympathetic and deeply decent people. Some of the men looked at me with interest, as a woman, but allow themselves more,
to invite somewhere, or to get to know each other better - they couldn’t afford it, according to etiquette it’s not supposed to be like that, this can offend a woman. And in general, women are very respected in Tunisia.
Bazaar traders, bred around hotels and in the city, grabbing your hands with an attempt to drag you into the store for which they work and others like that... well, remember the Soviet Union, its collapse, bombed taxi drivers at the station, arrogant people in the resort areas, thimblers, threw, bred... well, you will not judge the entire Russian nation by them, right? Well, or remember the market, the one that is now. There, too, sometimes impudent and not too decent aunts and uncles come across, right?
Well, in Tunisia, something similar. Those people who are specialized in tourists are sellers or scammers, the lowest dishonorable stratum of society.
As for the hotel staff, this is unfortunately true about their salaries. They are already low on average in the country, and in hotels -
several times lower, and tips are part of their salary, like work well and you will be thanked. Yes, and it's not true that Russians are misers. At the neighboring tables, I heard conversations several times - once Germans, once Belgians. The meaning was “we don’t leave tips because they get paid, that is, their work has already been paid”
I always left 2 dinars, if there were no small things and I was very pleased with the service - 5 dinars.
On the third day, I was taken to a wine stand (large selection),
They told me about each one, asked about my preferences, gave recommendations, let me try several wines. I chose one
and asked him to always serve me. Magon seems to be called, the harvest must be taken in an odd year.
I didn’t have time to enter the hall, for lunch, for a pause where there were cakes, for dinner, they immediately rushed to me with a bottle of my favorite wine, wondered if I would drink it, pushed back the chair so that I could sit down and opened the wine.
They also learned that I drink mineral water without gas with lemon and the second thing they carried was chopped lemon and mineral water. Wine was poured and the bottle left on the table.
In addition to the tip, there is a cat on the table. there is a tipbox for waiters. It is on the key and its contents are for managers, they do not share with the waiters. There I also deposited money a couple of times, literally 2 or 3 times, for 10 dinars. Well, that would not hurt the managers.
The effect is a miracle. I was told that if I want, I can take wine, fruit and cakes to the room, they will bring it themselves, for free (that is, you don’t have to pay for the room service). But according to the rules, this is prohibited)). I refused, I had cognac bought in duty free and exotic fruits that I bought at the market in my room. I have never tried some of them, one of them tasted like our raw beets, that is, it most likely was not a fruit, but some kind of vegetable.
However, people who did not leave a tip - they were served well too. Well, they had to wait 2-3 minutes until the waiter came up. if they didn't like wine, they were offered something else. The only thing is that they didn't leave a bottle on the table.
True, as soon as an empty glass, the waiter immediately approached.
Well, not immediately, after 2 minutes)). The attitude towards all guests is the same - regardless of the tip - polite and friendly.
Although maybe I was served so quickly and not because of the tip.
I am democratic, and I do not consider myself better or higher than the staff. They are the same people as me, I'm just on vacation and they are at work. Maybe they felt it.
And their work is hard, I don’t even know how many hours a week, probably 80. At 6 am already on my feet, and at 12 pm too, and the next day again, and so on for several days in a row, and then apparently one day off .
So, well, what else to say about the hotel... spa procedures are expensive, and I'm not a fan of these things, you need to go to them specially, at least for a month. The masseur is excellent, unfortunately I forgot the name. He feels problem areas with his hands, all points, knows how to calculate the force with which to press. pros, such in my life met a few.
Plump (not fat), when he does a massage, it is felt that he likes his work.
There is also a guy who brews excellent Turkish coffee, in the room where the hookah is, he also teaches those who wish to smoke this hookah. also when he works, it is clear that he likes his work, he is very polite and friendly, open-minded, always happy to help.
Animation - it is, again seen once. Belly dancing (not bad), tricks, playing instruments, something else was there.
The people liked it.
The contingent of the hotel at the time that I was there were several Russians who stubbornly pretended that they were not Russians. The Germans, a group, aged, smile, are always happy with everything, greet everyone, for some reason they sit all day around the pool. Several Arabs. The facial expressions are arrogant, like we are the navel of the earth and you are all rednecks. The waiters remained on top - they smiled just as politely, albeit somewhat stiffly.
A Belgian couple in love - these did not notice anything and were happy with everything. A group of Belgians looking for something to complain about (those cats did not leave a tip out of principle). They searched for a long time, and did not find mine. No, they found it. Now, if you leave the hotel, it turns out to be dirty and ugly there.
(Well, yes, I agree, but the hotel has to do with it). But they had enough talk about this shortcoming for two whole days. There were also people, mostly Europeans, but they arrived for a long time, like for 4 weeks,
stayed for a day and then drove off on excursions.
There were also the French, and not so few, but somehow inconspicuous...
They came, yum-yum and went somewhere - whether to wander along the seashore,
or to your room. Well, that is, they were on the territory of the hotel,
but rarely came into view. Some kind of mysterious
I would say that the occupancy of the hotel was 20 percent,
no one lived in the bungalow, only in the rooms.
In the end, I was satisfied with everything. In general, everyone. Excellent stay,
one of the best in my life (and I traveled half the world, and it was only the second time on the all-inclusive system, but with Tunisia this is the only option since the cost of an air ticket exceeds the cost of a tour (flight + hotel))
For those who like to look for flaws: the furniture in the rooms is not too new, but the mattresses are good and comfortable to sleep on,
what is most important for a bed. And yes, the same not too new furniture is in more than 70 percent of European hotels.
And yes, there is one more convenience: you can hand over things to wash, there is a package in the closet, the price of washing is cheap, and the quality is good,
for example, they didn’t even spoil the cashmere sweater for me (I would wash it myself, I would have to throw it away : )) Only the bag with linen should be left near the closet, otherwise they don’t open the closets and it will stay there.
More about money: If you have euros, paper ones, and you are asked to exchange them for coins (euro coins are not accepted in exchangers in Tunisia), change only to those you know - the cat to the waiters.
you are being served, a tourist bus driver, a porter
at the hotel, etc. They really have nowhere to put these coins, or they will have to hand them over on the black market at half price.
NEVER exchange banknotes for coins at the airport upon arrival.
When you go to the bus, or have already come to it, a poor_tortured_boy_with_sad-eyes will definitely come up to you and tearfully start to thrust you euro coins with a request to give you a bill. Best case scenario
for your 10 euros you will get 4-6, and in the worst case you will be asked to show 20 euros and then "why did you give me nothing"
ah, they hurt the little one, I don’t understand... blah blah blah
the situation and the amount are nonsense, but the impressionable can spoil the mood, and you have come to rest.
---
Have a nice rest and positive impressions!

True, here October is still not the season, after three it gets colder and a fresh breeze from the sea, however, just right for playing volleyball. Ideal for a relaxing holiday without expensive compatriots. The country as a whole did not attract anything. I won't go a second time.

Rested from 24.06. 10 to 05.07. 10. family: me, husband and daughter 8 years old.
Before leaving, I analyzed many hotels in Tunisia. The reviews were completely contradictory. About the same hotel, completely polar opinions and reviews, which scared me very much. It seems like they set their sights on Tunisia, we read some nonsense and we no longer know whether to go to this Tunisia unknown to us. Very frightening subjective statements, which, needless to say, have a huge impact on us - tourists. But a decision was made at the family council - to explore new horizons, and not travel 100 times to the same country. So - the only 4 * hotel about which we did not find any negative - this was Paradis.
In order not to torment, I will say right away - the rest was a success !!!
Of course, if you look for flaws, you will find them everywhere. We've come to rest.
The hotel is large, well maintained and green. We were settled in a bungalow. When the reception asked for a room in the main building for a fee, we were told that today there is no such possibility. Well, don't go tomorrow. After living a couple of days, looking closely, we realized that the bungalow is better. Since there is greenery in front of the terrace, you can walk barefoot, lie down on the sofa, listen to the birds singing. Where can you do that in a bustling city.
On some sites they write that the hotel has 300 rooms. We walked around the territory and in the main building we saw signs of rooms with numbers over 2200. The hotel is huge and does not pull at 300.
The food is superb. Pure Europe. Of the specific - only the national dish KUS-KUS, for an amateur. If in Turkey it was delicious, but you had to look closely, then here everything that you don’t take is DELICIOUS!! ! Beef, chicken, turkey, lamb, even the beach restaurant had pork! Wine, balsamic, soy sauces, etc. Side dishes and mashed potatoes and pasta and vegetables. Very well represented Italian. corner - spaghetti, pasta, pizza, lasagna, etc. I have never seen such an abundance of fish products anywhere, fried, stewed, baked, stuffed fish, king prawns, mussels, squids, etc. . You can’t count everything. Come at any time - and there will always be mountains of food. If something starts to run out, they immediately bring a new tray. A lot of pastries: croissants, French pastries, cakes, pastries, huge mountains of cream - chocolate, coffee, strawberry, custard, whipped cream. Everything cannot be described - there is only one problem, what to choose, because. eyes run wide. There is something for both kids and adults to choose from. For food, don't hesitate.
Beach... Near the pool they occupy early - hours at 6.30 - 7 in the morning the movement begins to take places. Well, so, away from the pool and on the beach there is always a place. The sand is gorgeous, the color of coffee with milk. Every morning a tractor drove and sifted it. I didn’t see gobies and garbage in the sand. The sea is clean, there was no algae. The sea for living creatures is scarce. But I put on a mask, found a jellyfish in the water (they are very beautiful and big) and swam above it, sent it.
The staff does not speak Russian at all. There were only a couple of Russian families in this hotel. But we considered it - as a positive fact. We get very tired at work - I want to talk to my family, not to enter into dialogues with compatriots. Most vacationers are Italy, France, Germany, Poland, Serbs. All are behaving well. Our guide worked in another hotel (because we were the only one from the tour operator), but gave us a phone number and asked to be called for any questions at any time. But since I can convey my desires and aspirations to the staff in English on my own, then there were no problems, and they didn’t pull him.
I tried to understand how many hours the staff sleeps - I did not understand. They work until late - and a little light - they are already on their feet. They always smile (but not with a forced smile, but from the heart), they sing songs, they try to say something in Russian. And all this from the heart! And from this positive you yourself begin to smile at them in response - and also from the bottom of your heart.
Animation. There is constant movement throughout the day. But I can’t say anything intelligible, because. To our shame, we did not visit a single event in the evening. It was good for us as a family, we are already all at work - so the only way to be together is to rest. The child also did not participate in the animation, because. she was embarrassed that they were speaking a foreign language around. I swam in the pool, and in the evening on the playground - on a swing.
We visited a 2-day excursion to the Sahara, were at the zoo, at the Zulu show. Everything is just great!! ! After the Sahara, they arrived so exhausted that they couldn’t be put into words - whatever one may say, they drove 1300 km across the country. And I can’t travel more than 60 km in Belarus. Impressions of the sea - and the ancient city of Keirovan with a huge mosque, and a rally across the Sahara, and an oasis in the desert, and a camel ride in the Sahara, and an ancient amphitheater in El Jem, and Berber caves. All this is very colorful and impressive! Do not spare money - go around the country.
Here is my short review. Maybe someone got tired of reading all this, but maybe someone will say thank you. In general, do not hesitate, go to Tunisia. Our family has no regrets about choosing this country and this hotel. The only pity is that in the next five years we will not return here - because. I want to travel as many places on earth as possible and have my own opinion about everything, and not someone else's subjective opinion.
Have a great holiday at Paradis Palace!! !

I can note the following: on the day of arrival, we were given the keys to the room on the first floor in a two-story bungalow. Due to the abundance of greenery, the room was damp and smelled of dampness. The next day, our guide helped to move to a room on the 2nd floor - a completely different matter.
Advice:
1. be sure to go on an excursion to the Sahara (2 days)
2. Feel free to express your requirements regarding the promised comfort (of course tactfully and preferably in German or French).

Please tell me the Ukrainian tour operator, from whom you can purchase a tour to the above-mentioned hotel, for March or April, if not, then for May 2014. Departure from Kyiv or Lvov. I want to make a gift to a relative, and relax together in this hotel (I myself have a place to buy a tour). I searched for a long time, I didn’t find it, now there are no tours to Tunisia at this time, or there is, but this hotel is not.
