In September, we rested for 2 weeks with my sister at the Cartago Hammamet hotel. On the way from the airport, the guide said that Hammamet has the cleanest sea. what we saw surprised us very much. Go to the sea from the hotel for 5-7 minutes across the road. The entire coastal strip of the sea is black, fetid algae. Entering the sea is not an activity for the faint of heart: not everyone will agree to go into a warm, fetid slurry in consistency resembling, at best, thick pea soup. True, 2 days before our departure, the owners of the hotel drove a tractor-excavator, which scooped out and stored this mass on the beach during the day. The sound of a working tractor + the smell made us a "good" mood. : both food and service are at the level. We went to another hotel for spa treatments (on the advice of a guide). Of course, the procedures are pleasant, but the quality of the procedures and the qualifications of the staff were not impressive. In general, I don’t want to go there again. Those who were in Sousse and in Hammamet they said that Sousse is better. The sea is exactly right.
