To the water you will walk along the algae of 3 meters, which no one removes
Float in the water: algae (you will come out of the sea in algae), bottles, condoms, cigarette butts and other dirt. The hotel is about 20% of "ours". These degenerates take sunbeds by the sea around 5. At 7 everything is already taken. You just have to swim and lie in the pool. 60% of the guests are Arabs with their own incubators (I can’t name their women differently) and a brood: 3-5 children of various ages. So, these individuals are very arrogant and noisy. If you are ready to shut up an Arab with a brood so that they do not yell above your head, then this hotel is for you. If you love the Sea, then in any case I do not recommend going here. Also, I do not recommend to all alekvatny people to go here. With this money you will find beautiful Turkey or Egypt.

There was no soap in the room upon arrival. You bring drinking water to your room from the bar. In the toilet room, at the seams of the bath, fungus. The air conditioner is scary to turn on because. from the outlet of the cooled air there are inclusions (growths) of unknown origin, tending to escape into the inhaled air!
The rooms (for the most part) have a connecting door with another room and what is happening in the next room can be heard as in your own.
The beach is dirty, cigarette butts, etc. you are looking for a sunbed yourself and a mattress for it too.
On the positive side, this is the sea and normal cuisine.

pros
Good location. Private beach 5 minutes walk from the hotel on a flat road (no ups and downs), well suited for older people. The path to the beach is through the road, but it is not heavily loaded with transport. Excellent and varied food. Despite the large number of people in the dining room, the staff coped quickly with cleaning the dishes and almost always easily found a free table. In the dining room, people behave culturally, including vacationing Arabs and immigrants from the former USSR, there were, of course, cases when they were “with their hands in food”, but this was rare in the performance of the French and Arab children. On the beach, mattresses are provided for the sunbeds - very comfortable and everything is free. There is a free bar on the beach, although it only has water, tea, coffee, cola, sprite and fanta. A very good pool complex, fresh and salt water, located on the inner territory of the hotel, animators organize aerobics on land and in water, volleyball in the water. There is no Islamic fanaticism in observing the norms of behavior and dress code (as, for example, in the UAE. Inexpensive and high-quality: olive oil, leather goods, creams and other body care products (especially if you do not buy the cheapest).
Minuses
The sea is dirty (garbage floats, a lot of mud, after a storm it lies on the shore and rots, but it floats off the coast), the water is unclear (maybe we got into such a period), the underwater world is practically not represented by anything. Places for swimming are fenced with squares, there is little space, especially where the legs do not reach the bottom. Water transport drives right behind these squares, we tried to swim early in the morning behind the buoys, until the engines began to roar and the propellers turned. During a storm, the square narrows, they can still put a motor boat inside this corral, and in order to swim, you need to go away from your beach and sunbed. In principle, this is typical for all of Yasmin, and if you love the beauty of the sea, you are not here (for example, compared to Cyprus - heaven and earth).
Local. There are many normal, pleasant, modest and well-mannered people among the locals, but there are enough assholes and, unfortunately, they are well spaced and remembered for a long time. In the hotel, many employees behave boorishly, often show their irritation, constantly wait for tips, allow themselves inappropriate humor and familiarity, they perceive a normal attitude towards themselves as a weakness, while they are absolutely not worried about the reputation of the hotel and the opinion of customers about it. For example, on the advice of our tour operator, they handed over the keys to the room at the front desk. The first few times everything was fine, but then, when you come to pick up the keys, the reception workers defiantly leave you to make phone calls, talk and laugh with their friends, you start telling them that they are busy, etc. Naturally, they stopped leaving the keys with them. This is not the only case, there is no desire to describe everything. The situation is similar outside the hotel. Basically, the cattle there is represented by merchants. Again, I would like to note that the fixed-price stores have normal and friendly staff, there are many adequate sellers at other outlets, but encounters with defective genetic material cannot be avoided. They may shout something insulting after you if you do not go to their store or refuse to communicate and buy fruit on the beach. Going into the store, and not immediately buying what the “wiser” advises you, you will very seriously offend the local resident, after which you will experience his anger and contempt. Moreover, which is typical almost everywhere: if you bought a product, then: “Putin is well done”, “Putin is my friend”, “I respect Putin”, if you didn’t buy the product: “Putin is a cannibal” and other disrespect. To the phrase that we are from Ukraine and, as it were, nothing to do with it, at first they exclaimed like: “Oh! Shevchenko! Klitschko! ”, but in the end everything ended up talking about Putin again according to the above described scheme.
The cleaners are unpredictable. Some women cleaned, changed the bed well and quickly, and the next day it was the complete opposite, in addition, they could take almost all the towels and not give out clean ones. They don’t know English (only native and native French), but when you explain with fingers and gestures, they nod that they understood everything and will fix everything now, you leave satisfied and satisfied that you were able to resolve the situation, and they immediately forget about communicating with you (time 3 so it was).

The hotel was half full so we were offered 3 rooms to choose from. We chose a room on the 4th floor with a view of the sea and the neighboring hotel.
The next day, we signed up for a spa, paid $ 900 for 4 days of a special course, 4 procedures per day, and gave us the 5th day. There is such a bonus in all spas. Every day we had breakfast, went to the spa for 3 hours, then went to the beach, ate seafood in a cafe and basked in the sun, then slept in the room, went to dinner, hung out at the hotel (cheap billiards, bar, hookah room). The sun sets early in winter at 6pm very dark. Ride ATVs in the mountains - very cool and cheap! The funniest thing was that we were promised: there would be only Russians, and there were only two of us. We went to Carthage, a fantastic sight, but Carthage itself was given only 1 hour of time.
Thanks to the spa, which employs high-class professionals, during the week of rest we rested as if we had rested for 2 weeks. Spa prices are not cheap, but the level and quality of service is like in the best European resorts. The massages are super professional!

Transaero flew (special THANK YOU), early morning, we are on vacation, warm. We were at the hotel at 10 am, settled quickly, without any additional payments, a room overlooking the pool. By the way, we were happy about this later, because the sea was constantly stormy and the wind was blowing, so we only won. The only thing that upset us all the time was the ignorance of foreign languages. languages (to blame themselves). And everything is just great. Excellent service everywhere, and the restaurant and pool and bar. The animation works very well, the guys tried very hard to stir up and cheer us (all tourists). They know how to joke themselves and love jokes on themselves. The main indicator for Tunisia is cleanliness and the absence of crime, and your vacation depends only on your mood. So Lord, let's learn to rest ourselves. And we decided to go to Tunisia again, but with other goals and at another time, in order to get to know the African spring.

I stayed in this hotel in July 2010. My husband and I did not like the hotel. It definitely doesn't deserve its 5 stars. About the rooms. . . in general, they are not bad, but there are those that overlook the neighboring hotel, where the animators are clearly deaf =))) But these are not all charms, they worked with a jackhammer almost until night, because a store was being built nearby. But all this can not be heard if you do not sit in the room. But in order to get to the exit, you have to overcome a very long corridor, and it is not one way, which leads to TWO elevators. And moreover, these elevators are not in a hurry at all, they also tend to break down during the week that we have been more than once!
Meals: we took a ticket with breakfasts and dinners, but we were not even warned that the hotel had such a system as "all inclusive". Naturally, they fed only as much as possible, but the main thing is more. There were few fruits, for example, we did not see a watermelon. But there was a melon, though not very tasty... I don’t want to talk about green peaches at all, you need to find edible fruits there, but you can find them. Food for five stars again does not pull. The beach is like a beach, there, like everyone else, you have to cross the road, so there is no crime with this. In general, we were very glad that we took a ticket only for a week, and not for 12 days, as we originally wanted.
For comparison, my mother was vacationing with a friend at the same time, in another part of Hamamet. The hotel has 3 stars. So they spent 2 weeks there, they liked everything very much, they fed them tasty, varied, they themselves saw and were surprised, they came to visit them and really did not want to leave. Why did our 5 stars draw?

We rested in May 2010. The complex includes 2 hotels - El Mouradi Hammamet and El Mouradi Menzahi. Our hotel rooms were even larger than those in the photo. We had a large bedroom with a large bed (singles pushed together) and two separate single beds, as well as two small armchairs and two tables. In addition to the bedroom, there was also an entrance hall with a sofa and two armchairs, a TV set, a table, and a minibar. And there was even a separate room for clothes! Too bad the sofa and chairs were torn. There is an old hair dryer in the bathroom. Otherwise, I liked the hotel. The building is solid, the halls are large. The walls are strong, you can't hear your neighbors 
The pool is in the middle of the complex for two hotels, but there are a lot of places. Those who have to bring mattresses are trying not to notice you, so that you would later thank them for bringing the mattress. The water in the pool in May is warm enough to swim. There is an indoor pool with jacuzzi. Warm water.
The only problem is that the ventilation is somehow not the best and there is a strong smell of chlorine.
There are many restaurants on the territory. But I wanted to walk around the city. Near the port there is a very large area of cafes and restaurants.
Internet is wireless and expensive in their internet center. But near the exit from El Mouradi Menzahi towards the sea there is a bar. It's called English Pub. They have free wifi for those who order something from them. There are many flags near the entrance - you can't go wrong. Food is cheap there. They make good cappuccino. The staff is unobtrusive. You can order a classic set of fried potatoes, chicken escalope (chops) and salad (7 dinars). The portion is big. Football is broadcast there in the evenings. (Tunisians are very fond of this sport).
Rested mainly French, Germans, Poles, Italians. There are few Russians.
The food is good. It is clear that the country is Arabic, so do not expect pork and beef  . Salads are simple.
For dessert there were fruits in the form of apples, oranges and peaches (not sweet yet). A couple of times there were dates and a local fruit bead (something like our cherry plum). Cakes, mousses, ice cream and cookies have always been alike. One evening they had an animation on a national theme and that day they were given local sweets. Be sure to try it, so that later you can decide what to buy home. I really liked nougat in stores.
We had two meals a day, so drinks for dinner were bought with our own money. Cola - about 1.5-2 dinars, local beer - about 3 dinars, small bottle wine - 8 dinars, tea and coffee - 2.5 dinars. We left tips in the form of change, because usually all drinks cost a penny.
We bought something in the Bravo supermarket. First you need to go along the street on which the hotel stands, which goes from the sea to the city and then turn left along the first street that runs parallel to the sea.
If you turn right and cross the road, you will enter Medina.
The animators are always trying to pull them to some events, especially every time the shout-invitation to “Aquagym” was touched. In the evenings, they also arranged something, but we did not go, so I can not advise.
Of the annoying ones, there is only a seller near the store, which is located at the exit from the dining room to the pool, and a friend who makes henna tattoos.
The beach is excellent, clean without algae. Good white sand. The sea is across the road. But the road is not actively traveled. A train runs along it to Hammamet. There are no partitions between the beach areas of individual hotels. On the sites of each hotel there is a green area, covers, some kind of building with a toilet. I think there is a cafe in our building during the season. The water was cold in May, but sunbathing on the sea is nice. Artificially created a shortage of sunbeds and mattresses.
And these beach boys bring a mattress and expect a tip. There were water activities right next to us. But we were walking along the beach in the morning and the guy from the far point was selling twice as many parachute minutes as those near El Mouradi. Apparently they have fewer customers there.
We rested for two days, rented a car for two days. Rented from Actif Auto. They have 2 dots. The first is opposite the Bravo supermarket. But there the seller is a merchant. And the second - if you go from the hotel along the seafront road and reach the rounding of the road, it turns out that you will go from the sea along the perpendicular embankment road to the street on which the Medina is located. Somewhere in the middle of this stretch of street is a parked white, painted little Volkswagen Beetle. And in front of him there is an advertisement and an entrance to the agency. I think this is a SAFA hotel. There is a calm seller. For Renault Simbol 1 day 60 dinars. For 2 days we paid 110 dinars. The car is given without gasoline. Fill in as much as you need.
The contract is a simple piece of paper. We didn't give a passport. They gave me a visa card which they made a copy of. In the evening we left the car keys at the hotel reception. They took the car and returned copies of the card.

Yasmine Hammamet is a separately built area for vacationers near Hammamet with 20-30 hotels, shops, shopping centers, a port and a bunch of cafes, water entertainment (banana, parachute, etc. ). The area appears to be safe. Very clean and civilized compared to other cities (we drove around in a rental car in many).
Medina (old city) has become an entertainment and shopping center. It’s unpleasant to walk in the ranks of sellers - everyone is trying to invite you to their store and then they are offended that they didn’t go. There are also many cafes, something like the Carthage Land amusement park. Opposite there is a park with inflatable slides for children.

ti money in Turkey would pull only 4 *. when we went there, we read reviews and were afraid of the invasion of jellyfish, showers and thefts in the room. but everything was ok. not a single jellyfish. and in the room, just in case, the luggage was closed with a padlock. still prezhivaya about cockroaches - also was not. The towels were changed every day, but the carpet was not vacuumed. Free minibar in the room is also a plus. hotel beach across the road. The beach is clean and so is the sea. only traders on the beach get it, who offer all sorts of nonsense - cigarettes, pantless jewelry, etc. it’s not enough to kill boys with flowers. read different reviews about hotels in Tunisia and you will understand what I mean. at the reception they don’t know Russian - a phrase book helps out. the heat is normal, because the hotel is located in hammamet - the northern part of tunisia. in the south it is noticeably hotter. We were on a 2 day tour of the Sahara. honestly expected more. a tiring trip, there is nothing special to see in Tunisia. an ancient amphitheater, a salt lake, a tiny waterfall, jeep rides and all. I thought I'd see a piece of wild sugar. and they put us on camels and walked a short distance. Moreover, this place is called the gate in sugar - this is the very beginning. I was not particularly impressed, although because of the sugars I flew to this country. and the tour was called "Journey into the sugar". in sugar we were 1 hour and night at the hotel. Yes, and camels paid extra. although the tour is not cheap. and they fed very badly - little meat and with long breaks. Zao stopped the bus in cafes, where we bought pizza for 400 rubles at our own expense, which is attention! ! without meat. the pizza was like this: a tortilla of bread, cheese on top, ketchup. all. when they approached the checkout, they realized that they had been fooled. but there is something hunting. It's little things like this that spoil the overall experience. at the end of the trip, they brought me to Kairouan, a place where cheap souvenirs are. They are really cheap there, but there are so few of them. so they press, horror. Souvenirs are not cheap, because they are handmade. Leather products are not fashionable.
Despite all of the above, I liked this country more than Turkey. There is a better attitude towards Russians. And the service at the hotel is better. The population is poor, but not as nasty as in Turkey. On the contrary, even cute (except for sellers).
