But these are all trifles, I am not one of those tourists who are looking for negativity, I was looking for positive, because I came to the sea and a beautiful beach... But then the biggest disappointment of my life awaited me... I saw everything in my life guys. . . But that's a full paragraph (that's a very soft word)! The beach near the hotel is littered with seaweed and rubbish iiii r. . . m! You didn’t hear tons of camel shit, it’s impossible to swim there, it’s just a shame to be there... I shot a video - https://youtu. be/B0I2T1wEQFI.
In general, the vacation began to turn from a misunderstanding into HELL, the hotel staff was very unfriendly, snapped at any request or made a face that they didn’t want to ask for something else, I suspect that the staff simply do not get paid or are paid a penny and they absolutely do not care at all. The restaurant absolutely can’t cope with the number of people that live in the hotel, the service is the same, you can wait for a glass of water for half an hour, clean the table for half an hour, the food is just disgusting, although I’m not pretentious, but the feeling and smells of second-rate food were clearly felt!
In general, on the third day, I was just ready to escape from this Hell, if there were extra money, I would buy a ticket and fly away ahead of schedule. As a result, my tour cost 55 thousand, and for them I got just HELL! The manager Julia “leaked” me to my messages, to put it mildly, although I was already a regular client and left at least a quarter of a million to the tour company, and I probably would have rested with them further, since I don’t notice many minuses, it’s important for me the basis that if my tour operator offered a good hotel at a normal price and knew where he was sending me... Now I realized that the company is purely bazaar sellers, bought a tour and goodbye, something you don’t like, go where you want...
When they arrived they asked for an early room, so a small child was breastfed and he already needed to be fed, why not breastfeed him in the hotel lobby?
As a result, they gave a room in which the air conditioner did not work, there was no refrigerator, neither the telephone nor the TV worked, there was no baby cot (although it was registered in the room when booking the hotel), the windows overlooked the pool, where it rattles all day music. They barely begged to change the room - they gave a bigger room and everything seemed to work, but there was no refrigerator, they could only bring it to us with a scandal from another room only on the 3rd day !!!
By evening, they discovered that the bath was leaking and by lunchtime a huge puddle had formed on the floor, at night cockroaches came running to this puddle for a drink. Our requests to fix the leak in the bathroom were in vain. No one at the reception responded to this!
Everyone said: everything is OK, they will come to you, but NOBODY came and did nothing, only 10 days later, through a representative of the tour operator, I insisted that he once again explain this problem - as a result, from morning to afternoon, already furious, we just almost screamed on the receptionists that we will not leave here until we fix the bathtub leak.
I wonder who writes positive reviews about the work of receptionists? For all problems - a complete ignore !! ! For a 4 * hotel, we did not expect this ...Room cleaning would be normal if in 15 days our room was forgotten to be cleaned twice! Moreover, towels are taken from the rooms immediately after breakfast, and brought only by 16-00!! ! How is that at all? Or not at all! We called the reception with a request to clean up and bring towels - as a result, only after 3 hours! And our constant calls brought us towels, and not fresh and with dirty spots! In general, the tin is complete!
There was no such thing in any hotel in any country!
Food - in general, not very good, breakfasts are good, but lunches and dinners - tin - a lot of people, everyone runs, grabs, almost almost fights for food, for plates, which are never enough! There are no glasses on the tables, you can’t interrogate them from the servants, there are no napkins, the tablecloths are all dirty! You run halfway through lunch or dinner in search of glasses and napkins! The food is mostly VERY spicy, it’s hard to find something not spicy, there is no children’s menu, apparently designed for Arab vacationers, of which there are so many that tin is a VERY uncultured, loudly yelling nation, plus the French and Italians, also boorish and loudly yelling. Our Russians are the most decent - we can say for sure!
Internet in the hotel - no! How so?? ? You run around like a fool, looking for points where at least WiFi flies. The hotel is big but it has ONLY 2 elevators!
Once one elevator broke down and we had to carry a stroller to the floor for more than a day (well, at least we had the 1st floor)! Tin! The beach is dirty, no one ever cleans it. The sea is also dirty! 6 years ago I was in Tunisia - the impression was completely different from the sea, from the country ...On the last day of rest on the beach, a Russian woman had an epileptic seizure, I will say right away - the help of the hotel doctor did not arrive immediately, the Russians themselves helped, apparently having honey. education, and the lifeguard and beach watcher were just running around. (
As a result, if they had a week's rest, they would probably have "swallowed" everything, but since they lived there for half a month, I would like a different attitude towards vacationers. Never to this hotel! And we don't recommend it to ANYONE!! !
Of the minuses - the elevator never worked, I had to carry a child with a stroller up the stairs, an insane number of Arabs with heaps of children, broken playpen beds for children (we changed several times and each time they gave us even worse than the previous one), at the reception they almost do not know Russian language. But in general, they are satisfied - a beautiful territory, which is combined with a 5 * hotel, swimming pools with sea water and fresh water, a tennis court, awesome restaurant cuisine!

The hotel itself is located on the first line, but across a one-lane road. But this fact can upset only tourists with children. Although the movement is slow. The piece of the beach itself, which belongs to the hotel, is not fenced, which leads there various left-wing people such as corn and other food vendors. You can guess that this piece of the beach is hotel only by the presence of a bar where they pour bracelets, which was a nice bonus.
The water in the sea is warm - 25 degrees. Marine reptiles were not found.
The pool is a little cooler, I don't know why it happened. But traditionally foreigners hang out near the pool.
The hotel is made in the form of a well, so there is never a wind inside, which is good.
The room is basic but big. Ours went out to the pool, but it would be better if he went anywhere, even to the trash can. At 9 am, cheerful animation begins, where German old women famously dance in the pool to the music. I'm not a fan of water aerobics, but a fan of sleep. Minus.
In the evenings in the assembly hall (that's what I wanted to call it) various shows. Most often, the artists were recognized not only as animators, but also as waiters and security guards. Amazing staff savings.
There were no problems with food. No frills, but you won't leave hungry. The pizza bar was open until two in the morning - for lovers of night meals.
All in all, for the money we paid, this is a very good deal.
July is a good time of the year for Tunisia - not very hot and the water is warm, there are no jellyfish, algae.
The 4 * hotel in which we stayed is worth, together with a 5 * hotel with a common area, swimming pools, bars, etc.
The check-in went with a slight minus - I had to change the room with a surcharge of 20 dollars, because they gave it with a view of the garbage dump and generators - tin! A trifle, but extortionists.
Large room overlooking the pool. Pretty decent in every way. They cleaned well, left tips several times, but I think this did not affect the quality of cleaning.
Once they made an intricate pattern from towels and sprinkled with flower petals. Water - 1.5 l bottle per day.
Safe in the room - free of charge. Beds do not creak, all plumbing is in good condition, although repairs would not hurt.
There are many restaurants, we used the main one. Let me tell you, the food is excellent! 5 points! Chefs respect for the 4 * level of the buffet and the quality of the food is decent. the waiters are very prompt and nimble - they pour it out, bring water, "our" waiter was tipped a couple of times - for a couple of dinars he ran even faster when he saw us.
They didn’t go to a la carte restaurants - they said the same thing, by appointment you can at least every day. There are 3 of them in the hotel.
Bars - by the pool, on the beach, lobby, there was a snack bar behind the lobby.
All drinks are quite acceptable, bali only wine, I can’t judge the rest.
Swimming pools with sea and fresh water is a plus! .
There are sun loungers on the beach and at the pool - the guys will always find a place, they will bring a mattress (towel for a deposit of 10 dinars).
But we got up early and after breakfast went to the beach, to the sea.
Intrusive sellers on the beach, but do not particularly spoil the rest.
There is nothing special to buy there, as well as in souvenir shops - Chinese handicrafts. Oils, oils and . . more oil. Although the prices are encouraging - inexpensive, bargain!
Excursion to the capital - Tunisia - from Pegasus, easily transferred from 9 am to 5 pm. Interesting, rewarding, beautiful. 60 dollars from the nose.
Of the pluses, the location of the hotel - behind the hotel Medina (bazaar and old town), Katraz - an amusement park for children (I compare it with Port Aventuro) adults have nothing to do there. Near the water park, a lot of tallas centers (in almost every hotel), close to shops and souvenir shops. In general, there are places to walk in the evenings. By the way, I often went by taxi - inexpensive! (5-10 km somewhere 5 dinars)
The beach is quite clean with fine fine sand.
Of the minuses - I did not find a shower on the beach and a toilet.
Animation - very decent - who with children - will not regret it! And in general, the guys are trying to entertain the guests of the hotel, water polo, aerobics in the pool. In the evenings, there are performances on the stage at the pool, competitions, etc. Everything is very unobtrusive.
I recommend the hotel for relaxation, for little money we had a good rest for 12 days.
If you have any questions - ask, I will answer. Because I omitted the details, I wrote more reviews on the hotel.
Alexey.
The territory is small, in the form of a well of two hotels: Menza and Palace. A couple of palm trees, a large pool and a bar. That's all.
The room was given on the second floor. The balcony is large, with an "exit" to the "terrace" and a view of the pool. A Sony TV set of 1992 (I had the same one at home for 17 years), one Russian channel - a poor version of Channel One with advertising for Russian immigrants in Germany. They didn’t show football : ( Although our team still lost. They clean well, but for some reason they don’t change the sheets, they just make the bed. They put two bottles of water in the mini-bar. Therefore, it’s better to stock up on alcohol in a dutik if you want to drink in the room. Well, everything is as usual: bathroom, shower, push, hair dryer, beds. . . The beds creak, if you eat in pairs, your neighbors will appreciate it; ) The air conditioner only works when the balcony is closed (clamped by the door, so any rectangular object can fool the system). The spatter is not strong. The only downside is the soundproofing. Morning women's exercises in the pool to the music, evening disco - you can hear it perfectly even with the windows closed. Therefore, if you do not want to live according to the standard hotel schedule and sleep when you want, stock up on earplugs.
The food is pretty good. Breakfasts quickly get bored, because they are the same, but lunches and dinners are varied in places. And there are salads for every taste, and meat: beef, chicken - always. There are also partridges, chops and more. For lunch and dinner almost always - ice cream! From fruit - watermelon for dinner, oranges and cherry plum for lunch. Poured beer and wine.
By the way, about alcohol. The tour operator declared this hotel as Ultra All Inclusive. Which is not quite the reality. Ultra is when you have at least White Horse whiskey, Tuborg beer, Black Stork cognac, Beefeater gin. If in a bar all foreign alcohol is Algerian wines and Libyan vodka, then this is not UAI, sorry. Otherwise, the tour operator worked well and without problems: the guide Haytham was polite, competent and attentive. And he even offered excursions, but did not sell them. Therefore, the tour operator - five with a minus. For the pennies that I paid for the tour, such a nuisance can be tolerated.
Beer is ok. But one for the whole of Tunisia. Of course, I took the Heineken in the dutik, but it quickly ran out. The wines are very worthy: both white, and rose, and red. Strong alcohol, of course, is harsh. But not like in Egypt, where it is absolutely impossible to drink it even in cocktails. And so - more cola in whiskey-cola, more gin in gin and tonic and you can live. Brandy in general can be drunk pure. It tastes like our cheap cognac like Kinovsky or Trophy.
Water. The main disappointment. In the sea - 20 degrees. Legs reduce. But the hotel has nothing to do with it, of course. The pool is a little warmer. But the most offensive: there are two indoor pools on the territory, and the water there is just as cold! Why couldn't it be warmed up a bit? Obviously, the indoor pool is for tourists in April or October. Unclear.
The service is uneven. Many of the waiters are very efficient. But most of them are sooooo imposing, sometimes rude like in Egypt. Tipping almost does not solve the issue. Apparently, it was necessary to be born a German or a Frenchman. The guys spend all their energy on them. Maybe because Europeans spend more money on bookings, maybe our tag handlers are already causing such disgust, I don’t know in general.
In general, I consider the trip successful. In terms of price-quality ratio, it turned out to be very profitable. But I don't think I'll ever come back here.
