CHOICE OF TUNISIA. The choice of country is determined by three interests: a) Carthage, b) the Sahara c) directly a country that is weakly propagated in comparison with Turkey and Egypt, which are colonized by people from the CIS. Therefore, taking into account these interests and appreciate your vacation.
CARTHAGE. Roman Senator Cato said "Carthage must be destroyed" as if cut off - from the real Carthage, which was the capital of a powerful empire, there are several brick artifacts that did not make any impression compared to expectations. There are ruins of Antonina's baths of the Roman period (although the guide for some reason always called it Anthony's Baths) and the children's cemetery is not clear what century.
TUNISIA-CAPITAL. The program of the tour included delivery to the main street of the capital and a hike in the medina of the city.

The medina of Tunisia made a depressing impression - the dirt and lack of logic in the construction of two-three-story huts did not find my understanding - why take tourists to these slums at all? !!
SIDI-BU-SAID. The main tourist feature of the town is the white and blue painting of almost all houses (I found on the Internet that the city authorities forcibly support this standard). Good location (on a hill above the beautiful bay) in combination with dairy houses with blue windows give the impression of a manly paradise.
SAHARA. The most interesting part of the holiday, the filling of two days of impressions and emotions is so strong that some things you think about long after returning home. I will not describe, because the program is standard for everyone, the only thing that can be worth it if you have partners and the opportunity to travel your own route in a rented jeep.
TUNISIA-COUNTRY.
Quite contrasting - cultivated by the French north (although the guide said all the time that during the colonization they suffered greatly) and underdeveloped in some places the wild rest of the country. Olive oil, dates and tourism are the three whales of semi-socialist Tunisia's economy. The population seems a bit lazy - at any time of the day the local teahouses are full of exclusively male companies, which have measured conversations over a cup of coffee / tea and disrupt the rhythm of life.
HOTEL. Price-quality in the budget segment is the main characteristic of this option. European cuisine with local flavor (couscous has always seemed), there was plenty of meat, fish and fruit, you will not be hungry, but do not expect gourmet pleasure. You can get a better room for an additional fee. The room has everything you need: TV (with Russian channel), refrigerator, hair dryer, safe. Absorbed not particularly persistently, regardless of the dollar left. The animators were not particularly tense.

There is a disco in the hotel. The pool is large and comfortable (+ children's). There is a tennis court. In general, the infrastructure of the hotel may and deserves 4 *, but the service would not get 3 *. 80% of vacationers are Poles, no one will understand you in Russian - you can understand English / German. , perfect in French.
