Arrived at 16.00 local time, settled immediately, room overlooking the pool. There are minor shortcomings: there was no curtain on the shower, there was no mini-bar, the hair dryer did not work, but everything was fixed. The food is quite decent, in any case, it is difficult to die of hunger: for breakfast, donuts-pancakes, and for lunch, a full-fledged dinner with fish and meat, vegetables and fruits. Wines, beer, local alcoholic drinks are quite decent, when there were quite a lot of French people, immigrants from Arab countries, towards the end of the holiday, mostly tourists from Russia remained. The hotel has been accepting Russian tourists for the first year, but there were no problems with communication: they try to understand, to meet halfway. A Russian-speaking employee, Adnen, is almost constantly at the reception, if necessary, he will be called. The beach is yours, either on foot for 4-5 minutes, or you can leave by minibus. There are enough sun loungers for everyone, the entry into the sea is gentle, the sand is great for those with children. The sea is clean, there is some algae in the morning, but after 07.00 in the morning everything will be removed. I really liked that none of the staff is trying to extort money, everything is solved just like that, with a smile. The room was cleaned every day, decorated with flowers, but when we tried to thank the maid financially, she was offended. So they just gave me chocolate. Upon arrival, be sure to exchange a small amount for the local currency, the dollar at the entrance, but not everywhere. We were faced with the fact that the taxi driver refused to take the currency. There are quite a lot of ATMs, the main thing is not to forget to activate the "special mode" for Sberbank bank cards. Terminals work in large stores, bank cards are accepted without problems. There are "chain stores" on the island, the nearest Carrefour (in Midun), 3 dinars by taxi. Alcohol is sold only in the Al Jazeera store (5 dinars for a taxi). From excursions, we went to a crocodile farm, quite interesting, there is also a small local museum where you can see traditional dwellings, lifestyle, crafts, and of course the Nile crocodiles themselves. There are also a lot of souvenir shops, shops with adequate prices. The ticket price is 15 dinars ($ 7.5), from the hotel 10 minutes at a leisurely pace, so do not buy an excursion at the hotel, it will cost twice as much. In general, the rest was a success - we went to sunbathe, swim, take a break from the hustle and bustle. The local population is very friendly, always trying to help, very friendly and absolutely not intrusive. No one grabs you by the hand, drags you to his shop. A very worthy people. We liked the rest, we hope to visit Djerba more than once!
