I'm not picky. flew 1 time with my husband for reconnaissance, we were very pleased with everything that happened there. . . the flight was rescheduled with a bang! everything was great. not scary at all. flew 4 hours from Domodedovo even fed on the plane. When we received our luggage we were met. saying the bus number. we were brought to the hotel. . quickly placed by numbers, everything is clean, everything works 9 though the TV set was not in Russian, but everything was settled right there, though we didn’t fly to watch it. We washed ourselves off the road, and had time for dinner, after dinner at the sea, it's just super (clean and bitterly salty) Animation The boys give all the best to 100. All the staff are very helpful. All are smiling. The rooms are clean. The pool is great, cleaned and tiled every day. nice to walk. Special thanks to the chef. the food is different every day, the choice is huge, the meat was different (rabbit. chicken. turkey, beef, veal))) really liked the tuna, mussels, but I didn’t get much pleasure from the crab, very tasty yogurts, pastries just heaps. We went to aqua aerobics (just a miracle) I want to mention the animators Dido, Mimo, Bingo. not a single evening passed without them))) Thank you guys! I won’t write much, my husband and I were delighted (for 54 thousand for 2) we had a lot of fun, I hope we will come again

The first thing I want to emphasize for Russian tourists is North AFRICA! Do not look for sky-high hotels and services in this country. We traveled from 09/28/2017 to 10/07/2017 via Anekstur, Azureir planes there and Ural Airlines back. The operator did an excellent job, the flight was delayed there for 14 hours, back without delay.

SEA AND BEACH. The most important thing is why you need to go here. Walk 4 minutes to the beach. For those who are especially lazy, every 5 minutes a minibus from the hotel runs back and forth. The sea is simply beautiful, clean, shallow (to swim up to your neck, you have to go far enough) with white soft sand. During the rest, only 4 days it was calm, on the rest of the days the wind from the sea is gusty, it cools directly from the scorching sun (this is even a plus). The beach itself is rough along the entire coast. And this is only from the wool of camels and horses that are walked by locals for riding with tourists. Every morning the beach is cleaned by a tractor - algae are raked, the sand is loosened and leveled. There was always enough space on the sunbeds, unless of course you come after 10. Sunbeds and umbrellas are naturally free from the hotel.
HOTEL.
An old building, but quite a beautiful facade, everything is as in the picture. The rooms are good, free, the beds throughout the hotel are separate-double! keep this in mind when you move in. Cleaned up every day. Hot water, shower, bidet. The tap water itself is brackish (this is always a problem on Djerba). Drinking water can be taken from the bar in bottles as much as you want. Animation is, but weak. I never need her at all. But the animators themselves are very funny and cool.
NUTRITION.
Big buffet. They ate to the stomach. Once we fried 3 large 30kg tuna on the grill, crabs, well, in general, every 2-3 days there was some kind of variety.
The dining room is large, but the queues for food are just terrible)) Do not stand in lines like sheep - come and take what you need, otherwise the crowd sometimes stands only for one dish, and they block the passage to others))))
CHIPS.
1) You can visit the free restaurant by the pool once - sign up in the lobby opposite the reception at the girl at the table. The free menu included two salads, lasagna, pasta, pizza and a bottle of wine ; ))
2) Do not get fooled by the local dealers' divorce! Seeing your bracelets, they break prices 2-3 times more expensive. For reference, we took a kilogram of the cheapest and freshest dates on excursions in the Sahara for 7 dinars, and in Medun they wanted to breed us for 25 dinars per kilogram of dry dates!
3) Medun - the town closest to you with merchants. Go there only on weekdays - on Sat, Sun no one works there. Here you can buy fruit and go to a small supermarket. By taxi from the hotel round trip exactly 6 dinars.
4) After the revolution and the terrorist attack in Tunisia in the past, the beach and the hotel are guarded day and night, there are a lot of guards everywhere, so no incidents happen here. We met the locals on the beach and they reassured us, Tunisia values u200bu200bsafety very much - don't worry))
5) The crocodile farm is located 10 minutes from the hotel (exit from the main entrance and to the left). Entrance costs 18-20 dinars per person. Crocodile feeding takes place twice a week (Wed, Fri) at 17:00, people gather for this spectacle from all hotels, so come early, at least at 16:30, and better by 15:00, because there are besides crocodiles on the territory there is also a clay master and a mini-museum. The master sculpts clay vases and takes cool pictures. And you can also ask to take a picture with a small crocodile. It's all free, if anything - pay only for the entrance))
6) A two-day excursion to the Sahara is just a bomb! Be sure to go! Without it, the rest will seem boring. First, you will get to the mainland by ferry, then by buses for sugar, then you will go to the hotel, swim in the waterfall in the oasis if you wish, you will ride in jeeps on the sands, you will arrive in Tatooine (artificial buildings of the town for filming the Star Wars movie), spend the night in a cool hotel in an oasis, look at the salt lake, buy fresh dates, just picked in the morning for 20 dinars 3kg! Guide all two days about everything was very interesting, a lot of emotions! And we were also "lucky"... here it rains once or twice a year somewhere. According to the forecast, they were supposed to be in November, but they went a month earlier. We saw showers in the Sahara =)) Of course, this didn’t brighten up the tour, but there was no sultry heat and you don’t often see such joy of the locals either)))
7) WiFi at the reception does not work well. But from morning to evening there is Wi-Fi by the pool, which few people know about, it is password-protected - and you can find the password in the room under glass or ask the animators))
In general, the holiday was a success. On the first day or two, I could not get used to the hotel, but in the end I did not want to leave! ) In general, we noticed that there was almost no one on the beach. The feeling that everyone came to the pool! People! It's the sea! How can you come to the resort and sit in the hotel! In which, by the way, there were many indignant tourists who did not like anything. But it was these dissatisfied that I saw at the end of the rest drunk and cheerful at the bar =)))) So, for them, the rest was a success =)))))
Go to rest not with thoughts about service, but with thoughts about the sea. Do not sit by the pool, do not sit in the rooms, then you will remember your vacation and want to return! Good luck!

Good day and time to all! I must say right away that the review is deliberate and I really want to be objective ...I don’t know if it will work.
I'll start in order, the three of us rested in mid-July, my husband, son and I. Our flight was delayed for 3 hours, we flew with AZUR air, though they warned us 4 hours before departure - SMS and email sent a letter, a very worthy crew and quite decent feeding.
We arrived in Djerba at 21.30, we were met and put on the bus by the tour operator Anextour, we were accompanied by a guide named Samir, a professional and plus a wonderful person, special thanks to him, he never refused help during the entire stay and did not impose an excursion program. By coincidence, we arrived at the hotel alone, we were told that they would even feed us in this hotel ...we were very pleased with this fact, but we were more thirsty! We went to the reception, there we were met by a middle-aged man ...
They greeted each other in gibberish-French (it was lucky that they taught it at school, I had to strain my brain and remember the basics of French speech). The receptionist handed us papers to fill out and began to say something, to be honest from the whole speech we only understood - the pool, having long explanations with each other, prepared $ 10 and a room overlooking the "sea" and our pool. We did not become greedy and let the person earn. They settled us on the 4th floor overlooking the pool and conditionally "sea", why conditionally, but because you still need to walk 500 meters to the sea. . but more on that later.
About the room: clean, bed linen is fresh, but not new, washed towels and not very presentable, furniture leaves much to be desired, very old, but generally tolerable, if not capricious. On the table there is a bowl of fruit (2 oranges, 2 nectarines and 2 plums) - this was our dinner, my men who were going to have a bite to eat were disappointed.
True, there was a bottle of water and it was already good ! ! !
We decided to go downstairs, look for a bar, found one paid, the second until 23.00, managed to drink a glass of red wine and pour a sprite for the child (drinks of quite decent quality), our service was over, which is actually logical ...23 hours. Yes, I’ll digress a little, before I forget, I’ll tell you about drinks: gin, rum, booze (local vodka), wine (pink, white, red), all of very decent quality. Sprite, Fanta, Coca-Cola are also normal, juices leave much to be desired, similar to powdered drinks, tea, coffee, cocoa in the dining room are soluble, but of tolerable quality, chocolate and coffee in the bar are quite decent, this is for understanding!
She suggested that her men take a walk to the sea, as it was on the first day and not touch it ...We went beyond the territory and then a surprise awaited us, in fact, everything that crosses out all the pluses.
The road, near an incomprehensible wasteland on which a couple of camels graze, but the shock from the fence that runs parallel to the road, you must see it, the walls are all studded with fragments of bottles. The spectacle is terrifying! ! ! Seeing all this, my family said that there was nothing to wander around unfamiliar places with such "stunning landscapes" at night, it was necessary to postpone a walk to get acquainted with the beach until the morning.
In the morning we woke up at 6.30, went to breakfast, was a little disappointed, but later I realized that the cooks who fry something tasty start working later, if you want to have a full breakfast, come no earlier than 7.30. For breakfast, the assortment is average, but you will not stay hungry, there are almost dishes for all categories.
Having refreshed ourselves, we went outside the hotel, it should be noted that the guards are very polite and friendly, they always smile and say hello.
Outside the territory, they saw yesterday's nightmare, in daylight the sight is even more unpleasant, heaps of garbage, an excavated wasteland and a fence of a neighboring hotel with broken glass. If you don’t want to go through this horror, you can wait for the minibus, which starts running at 9.00, but I want to warn you right away that it’s very late for July, we were already leaving at 10.30, it’s impossible to sit on the beach - it’s hot. Even the shadow of the fence behind which we tried to contact will not save.
The beach appeared before us during cleaning work, we arrived very early by local standards, noticed that Tunisians are in no hurry, unlike the Egyptians, who start their working day at 5 in the morning, here people prefer to sleep and then get to work, well done ! But they are not lazy, they work all day. (Tunisians are completely different, unobtrusive, not grabbing hands, I really liked them, well-mannered people!
French upbringing is felt) I was a little distracted, but we will continue further, the beach is sandy, the sand is white, but there are a lot of dried algae and cigarette butts in it, sometimes small thorns come across, the beach staff try to clean it up, but as you know - it’s clean where they don’t litter! The tractor starts working around 8:00 o'clock. A strange picture, the entire coast is strewn with algae, and the tractor, instead of removing them, rakes them back into the sea ...well, maybe right, so as not to disturb the marine flora and fauna. To be honest, swimming in the seaweed is unpleasant, so we went to the line of the neighboring hotel, where the sea was much cleaner (not sure why). Within about an hour, the water cleared up, it became very comfortable and pleasant to swim. The beautiful sea plays with multi-color colors from azure to dark blue, the bottom is very transparent, you stand up to your neck and see your toes, which is extremely rare in a sea with a sandy bottom.
I can immediately say that out of the 10 days of our stay there were a lot of algae, of which only 4 days were bliss, the sea was gorgeous. About living creatures, there are very few fish, practically none, BUT going into the water one day someone stung me on the hand. It was painful and a little scary, the hand was covered with blisters and a little reddened at the site of the bite. We immediately went to the reception, unfortunately there were no Russian speakers there, so we went up to the room, treated the bite site with peroxide and boneacin, and took a suprastin tablet to all of the above ...Later I learned from my guide that these are small fish, they are not poisonous, they sting someone very rarely, but it was I who was among those "lucky ones", and then I found another colleague in misfortune, she was stung in the leg. Sameer said that to relieve the pain, you can apply a cut tomato or spread toothpaste on the bite. Well, this is so for information, but suddenly you have to face it.
We continue about the sea, it’s good to come here with children who cannot swim, a very large area of shallow water, just right for children. The water was 28-29 degrees. The first days we were saved by the wind that blew from the sea, the monsoon, the heat of 39-40 degrees was not strongly felt, but advice, take protective creams at 50! In the next three days, the wind blew from the Sahara ...khamsin, here we felt all the delights of the African summer. Even the air conditioner, which worked properly, did not save us from the heat and stuffiness, on one of these days we didn’t go to the beach in the morning, there was really nothing to breathe, we went out on the sun loungers by the pool, where you can even hide behind a palm tree and shade from the hotel. There is a continuation about the beach, there is a bar, it starts its work from 10.00-17.30, so for those who used to go to the sea before, be sure to take a small bottle of water. The bar on the beach is very friendly staff, however, as in the rest of the hotel. Soft drinks and water only. Don't count on a snack!
There is a shower and a bathroom, but they leave much to be desired, not very clean. Garbage bags are lying next to the shower, rinsing is not very pleasant, a construction pallet is used as a footrest, it is necessary to wear slates. There is a booth near the beach, which has everything for sports and water activities, by the way, the prices are quite humane compared to other countries. For example, water skiing (20 minutes of skiing) is only $20, a jet ski is $30, a parachute for 2 people is $35-40 as agreed ...quite acceptable and, which is very pleasing, security measures are observed, everything is very strict! About sun loungers on the beach: just umbrellas and sun loungers without mattresses, they come for free, there are very beautiful gazebos, I naively thought that they were for general use, but later it turned out they cost 20 dinars! Everything about the beach...
About the pool: there are always enough places near it, umbrellas, sunbeds, mattresses (which you need to take on your own near the shower on the way to the kids club). The pool itself is large with a division into children's and adult areas, well thought out, there are places. where you can reach the bottom, there is a place where you can swim, there is a small, green island in the middle of the pool, where you can take beautiful photos. The pool is clean and cleaned every morning by the hotel staff. As for me, I do not like to swim in them, but I had to spend a lot of time, because it was impossible to be on the beach in the heat, I can say one thing - the pool is very pleasant. There are showers on the territory, there are quite enough of them, Animators work on this territory all the time, at 11.00 they start playing water polo, then aqua aerobics, various games, sports activities and dancing ...in general, if you want an active holiday - for every taste.
About the bar: it is in the pool area, or rather there are 2 (the second paid) drinks for every taste, cocktails (we didn’t like them, but it’s an amateur) just keep in mind that even though it’s near the pool, no one will serve you in a swimsuit , we must take this into account, I'm not offended, still a Muslim country. The staff at the bar is very friendly, trying their best, even trying to learn Russian, some words. Yes, I almost forgot, in the evening, be sure to take water to the room at the bar, drink, brush your teeth, after 23 hours it is also paid!
About the market: you can get there by taxi, the cost is 2.5-3 dinars, the ride is about 15 minutes. I want to warn you right away: be sure to bargain, the prices are set very high, everything that we bought from gifts cost 2 times upon purchase, otherwise and 3 is cheaper! I highly recommend buying fruits on the market, they are amazing, especially figs (its price is from 4.5-5.5 dinars per kg) and grapes (the price is from 3.5-4.5 dinars per kg) we don’t have such!
About the restaurant: well, it rather resembles a dining room, the interior of course leaves much to be desired, so we preferred to eat at the tables. standing on the street, I want to warn you right away, it’s worth borrowing them for dinner in advance, it is advisable to be among the first.
As for the assortment ...it is quite rich and I don’t know about other vacationers, but we were lucky, we were fed, as they say, for slaughter. There was always fish, meat (beef, turkey, chicken), different types of pilaf, couscous, pasta to choose from, baked vegetables, pizza, fresh vegetables, fruits (watermelons and melons every day), desserts, ice cream (2 times a day, very tasty and different) without limitation. Every evening a barbecue, the assortment of which was also varied: sheep, geese on a spit, huge tuna, crabs on a fire, mussels ...in general, they were satisfied with the food. Well done, the staff is trying ...True, it was necessary to stand up for all the yummy, but in general, as elsewhere.
About animation: senior animator Dido, he is certainly well done, ubiquitous. He manages to build his subordinates, manages to do gymnastics (which is not just waving his hands, but really 40 minutes of exhausting exercises). manages to show the ladies a master class in dancing, manages to get you to a paid restaurant (by the way, I’ll immediately digress and say ...it’s not worth the money, we didn’t go ourselves, we heard a lot of negative reviews from compatriots who had the imprudence to subscribe to all this, for the most part people were disappointed, so draw conclusions, some then went to finish eating in the dining room), I got distracted, I’ll return to the animation, of course it’s not bad, it won’t be boring, but my child grew up and refused to go to the evening show, and I saw a lot of things in my life, so To be honest, we were not interested!
As for daytime activities, I enjoyed attending water aerobics, my son played volleyball and took an active part in sports. To be honest, yes, the guys are trying, but not the highest class, still grow, grow. .
Yes, I almost forgot, from 11.30 am a mini restaurant by the pool starts working, you can have a bite to eat. who is hungry, the assortment is not rich, BUT - very tasty french fries, a burger (with sausage, I don’t eat it, so I didn’t try it, my son liked it, he took it several times) and pizza (quite acceptable, also from his words). You definitely won't leave hungry. Yes, sometimes after breakfast all sorts of sweets and fruits are brought to the bar, this is around 10 o'clock, we were usually at that time at sea. . so I can't say anything.
Perhaps this is all. In general about the hotel. . not bad, the territory is of course small, but well-groomed, clean, guarded. There is a mini-zoo and a mini-city.
The rest, as practice shows, are useless and not interesting (especially a pirate ship, our friends went, they were very disappointed) do not waste money, it’s better to spend more time at sea ...Well, and there, to whom. what do you like.
About cleaning the room: they left 1-2 Dinars, the cleaners are not heard, not seen, they clean them efficiently, they try, they even make compositions from towels and flowers. How the Egyptians do not beg for money for cleaning and do not get bored! I want to warn you, towels are taken at 11 o'clock and until 14 o'clock you will not see them, if you need a towel, put it on the balcony.
In general, I want to say the hotel is good, but it doesn’t pull perfectly, it has its drawbacks. I don’t know if I will return there, but I’ll definitely come to Djerba again, the sea and sand are gorgeous!
All in all, the 10 days of rest were enjoyable. Thank you Sidi Mansour!

Good day! We chose the hotel based on reviews on many sites. In principle, everything was justified. The hotel with its well-groomed territory, very green, lots of flowers, date palms.... Arrived at 16.00 local time, settled immediately, room overlooking the pool. There are minor shortcomings: there was no curtain on the shower, there was no mini-bar, the hair dryer did not work, but everything was fixed.

The food is quite decent, in any case, it is difficult to die of hunger: for breakfast, donuts-pancakes, and for lunch, a full-fledged dinner with fish and meat, vegetables and fruits. Wines, beer, local alcoholic drinks are quite decent, when there were quite a lot of French people, immigrants from Arab countries, towards the end of the holiday, mostly tourists from Russia remained. The hotel has been accepting Russian tourists for the first year, but there were no problems with communication: they try to understand, to meet halfway. A Russian-speaking employee, Adnen, is almost constantly at the reception, if necessary, he will be called. The beach is yours, either on foot for 4-5 minutes, or you can leave by minibus. There are enough sun loungers for everyone, the entry into the sea is gentle, the sand is great for those with children. The sea is clean, there is some algae in the morning, but after 07.00 in the morning everything will be removed. I really liked that none of the staff is trying to extort money, everything is solved just like that, with a smile. The room was cleaned every day, decorated with flowers, but when we tried to thank the maid financially, she was offended. So they just gave me chocolate. Upon arrival, be sure to exchange a small amount for the local currency, the dollar at the entrance, but not everywhere. We were faced with the fact that the taxi driver refused to take the currency. There are quite a lot of ATMs, the main thing is not to forget to activate the "special mode" for Sberbank bank cards. Terminals work in large stores, bank cards are accepted without problems. There are "chain stores" on the island, the nearest Carrefour (in Midun), 3 dinars by taxi. Alcohol is sold only in the Al Jazeera store (5 dinars for a taxi). From excursions, we went to a crocodile farm, quite interesting, there is also a small local museum where you can see traditional dwellings, lifestyle, crafts, and of course the Nile crocodiles themselves. There are also a lot of souvenir shops, shops with adequate prices. The ticket price is 15 dinars ($ 7.5), from the hotel 10 minutes at a leisurely pace, so do not buy an excursion at the hotel, it will cost twice as much. In general, the rest was a success - we went to sunbathe, swim, take a break from the hustle and bustle. The local population is very friendly, always trying to help, very friendly and absolutely not intrusive. No one grabs you by the hand, drags you to his shop. A very worthy people. We liked the rest, we hope to visit Djerba more than once!

The hotel is absolutely autonomous, you can generally just be in the hotel, just on the territory, just in the pool (even don’t go to the sea... ))) Very cozy rooms with an oriental-style balcony. Large landscaped area with a place for entertainment for children and adults. Nice big pool. The animation team didn't let me get bored.

In the morning - exercises at the sea, in the afternoon - classes in the pool, games and classes to incendiary music. In the evening - performances by the artists themselves, entertainment for children. And, of course, dance-shmantsy for adults! Breakfast - sea - lunch - swimming pool - games - sports - evening entertainment with music. Without the animation team, it would have been much more boring. You need to be able to light yourself and convey your mood to others !! ! Oriental-style rooms where clean, fresh, everything is changed and cleaned on time. I never had to ask to change towels, bed linen, or wash the floor... )))
Everything seemed to be done by itself, as it should be in an oriental fairy tale!
