Firstly, the hotel declares itself as a 5 * - an outright lie, I would give no more than 3 * !! ! The description of the hotel mentions pools with sea water, a gym, a library, golf, entertainment programs, etc. . The pool on the territory of Jasmina Thalassa Hotel Djerba 5 * resembles a small pit lined with cracked old tiles with mold on the sides, the library is naturally not working, but this is not very upsetting - few people go to read books, as for animation, everything is very simple - it is not there.
Resting mostly elderly French and less Germans.
The hotel is very bad and few people speak English, but if you, as I know French, you are still out of luck... ))) No matter how much I asked for the air conditioning to be repaired, this was never done... in short, no service .
The food seemed tolerable at first, but that was until the moment I got poisoned there, it's good that this happened at the end of the vacation.
I remembered! A couple of times after dinner in the restaurant we were not given the correct amount for drinks and each time they made sooo surprised eyes at the request to count the money))) After no words of apology . . as if it were in the order of things !! (
The only thing that was not bad was that the room was quite spacious, though with not very new furniture.

Water is not included anywhere, only tea and coffee for breakfast. The hotel itself has draconian prices, do not be too lazy to walk to the supermarket at the entrance to the hotel, but it is better to walk a hundred meters down the street and buy a 1.5-liter bottle for half a dinar. In the city supermarket you can find even cheaper!
The second minus is not a very clean beach (without garbage, of course, but it is not cleaned from algae, etc. ) and the need to practically beg the beach rangers to bring a sunbed with a mattress. So they are not exhibited, since there are 3 hotels on the territory of the complex and only ***** is supposed to be free, the rest for the money. The sand is white and very fine.
In the hotel, few people speak and understand English, it's good to go there with knowledge of French, German or Italian - everyone speaks these languages! The menu is in French only - be prepared.
Now about the good: the hotel is small and very cozy, the rooms are spacious and bright, most with balconies, although the furniture is slightly shabby! The cleaning is excellent, the maids are friendly and diligent.
The hotel is part of the Jasmina complex, the territory is common, residents of ***** can use any services of other hotels for free.
There is a playground, a club, a thermal pool - on the territory of ***.
In the hotel itself, both pools with sea water, access to the beach directly from the lobby, the pool also has problems with the cleanliness of mattresses and
sun loungers, as sand is constantly applied from the sea. Towels at the reception are issued on a deposit of 10 dinars, sometimes for free.
The weather at the end of May is good, not very hot, although not stable - there was 1 rain and big waves on the sea for 2 days.
The sea is very good, warm and clean (not counting the algae), the entrance to Iore is excellent, sandy. The evening is often strong.
The impression is generally positive, on the island itself you can go shopping in Midoun, there are fixed prices in shopping centers, but they can differ by almost 2 times, so go around several places before you buy something! Taxi is cheap, car rental is quite expensive. Hum Souk has a very beautiful promenade at sunset.
