I think that the Sugar Marina Hotel can be safely called one of the best hotels in Karon. I'll start with the meeting and check-in. It was nice that as soon as we got to the reception, we were met from the road with very tasty ice cream, and cooled down and had a bite. The staff at the reception is very friendly and smiling, they waited for the check-in for about 40 minutes, not long, and earlier than the scheduled time. We were given a room in the new building. The first thing I liked was that everything in the room was thought out for a comfortable and cozy stay. Accordingly, everything is brand new, working. In the room there are bathrobes, slippers, mats and umbrellas (by the way, large ones) for the beach, beach towels, bath towels for the shower, a hairdryer, a TV set with 3 Russian channels, a tea and coffee set with everything that comes with it, a free safe and a mini-bar . You need to know that the mini-bar was replenished only after it was completely empty, well, or if you ask. They put juice, beer, water and chocolates. Shampoo and soap were also topped up every day, towels changed daily, and bed linen every three days. Not in every 3-4 star hotel you will find such service. A few more words about the service in the hotel. The territory and pools (and there are two of them) are always clean, the staff is constantly cleaned. Lots of greenery, everything is beautiful and well maintained. Although the pools are small, it is quite possible to swim, especially at lunchtime, when you are too lazy to go to the beach. Not more than 5 minutes to the beach, very close. The road is pleasant, not in the sun. We did not see any garbage on the beach, it was also cleaned regularly. City beach, sun loungers and umbrellas for a fee of 100 baht, but we did not use them, why, there are also comfortable mats from the hotel, and towels. For us, this option was more suitable. Near the hotel there are many different establishments where you can tasty and inexpensive, and most importantly, a hearty meal. In the evenings, they bought food in macarons, no worse than in a cafe. A couple of times we took lunch at the hotel restaurant, of course a little expensive, but for that there is a rich choice. Speaking of breakfast. The breakfast time itself is well thought out, there was always enough time and food. Breakfasts are simply gorgeous, especially for Tai. A very large selection of fruits, several types of pastries, delicious soups. Especially pleased with the presence of a coffee machine, and very good coffee. We always went to the beach early in the morning, and after it, we always had time for breakfast. At what the choice of dishes was in the end, which could not but rejoice. In the end, I want to say that you can safely go to this hotel, and even more so if you take a room in the new building. We wish everyone to have a great holiday, as we did.
