The hotel is nice, clean and nicely decorated. It was as if no one had lived in the rooms before us - everything is so clean and tidy!
Pros: delicious breakfasts, good housekeeping, a safe in the room, in which I advise everyone to keep tickets, money, documents, convenient location - the hotel is located at the end of a quiet dead end street, but at the same time all the main attractions of Patong are within walking distance - you just have to go to the main road - near the beach, Bangla road (the main party street), a large shopping center Jung Ceylon. I also advise you to go to Karon Beach, it is a must! After that, in Patong you will no longer want to swim! ; )
Cons: No free wi-fi. Went from Pegasus. The ticket itself was not very expensive, but the hotel guide warmed up to us, selling us an excursion at exorbitant prices. Intimidated not to buy from street agencies, supposedly they are all “one-day”, “they will take the money, the office will be closed and you won’t find it”, frightened that there would be no insurance and stuff like that. Complete nonsense, as it turns out. We bought an excursion to the Similan Islands from our guide for 4000, and in the agency "Hot vacations" near the hotel an absolutely identical excursion costs 2400. Our neighbors turned out to be smarter, they immediately took a tour to the Similans for 2400, compared their impressions - exactly the same excursion, with a Russian guide , insurance, lunch. As a result, we changed our minds about taking other excursions from Pegasus and went to this agency, the girl Stepanida works there, she explained everything in detail, plus she provided us with information about where to go for a massage, where to eat inexpensively and tasty, etc. We bought from her an excursion to 3 islands (Bond, Krabi, Phi Phi with an overnight stay) for 5700 - this is with three meals a day, they fed very tasty and the excursion itself was rich and very interesting! She already gave us discounts on the following excursions - we went to Khao Sok with an overnight stay on Lake Cheolan - as if we were on the set of "Avatar", rode "rafting + quad bikes + elephant riding" and X-show for adults. And as a gift they received a 30% discount in a Thai cosmetics store, which is located next to the "Hot vacation" office. So I advise you not to listen to the hotel guide, just compare prices first, then buy tours. If it were not for the greed and horror stories of the hotel guide, the rest would not have been overshadowed by anything.
