the hotel is far from everything, shops, restaurants, etc. , only the Holiday Inn hotel is nearby, it is unlikely that anyone will have a desire to ride for an hour every day to have lunch or dinner in some normal place. the hotel restaurant in this regard is just awful, what they cook is a nightmare! ! breakfasts are extremely poor and monotonous. if you go with a child, then what to feed him is not clear. Shops are also a 30-40 minute drive from the hotel. there are a couple more places on one and the other side of the hotel near the beach, but the one on the left side, between Piraya and Holiday Inn, doesn’t always work, we didn’t get there, because outwardly the establishment didn’t make us want to have dinner there. on the right side in the direction of the beach there is a small restaurant, we called it "at the Englishman", we must give him credit, he turned out to be the only alternative, they cook there medium-stably-normally, I would say this is his advantage. but there is also a drawback - it cannot accommodate all the unfortunates who have managed to settle in our hotel. to which we also belonged. in the same place every evening from about 18 o'clock it was possible to observe a continuously stretching chain of hotel neighbors, who could no longer accommodate this small establishment. In general, this is the main problem of this hotel.
about the beach, before the trip I read different reviews, and that it was dirty and that it was clean, not true, the beach turned out to be clean, but "wild", it's just a beach, without sunbeds, service and other joys that most tourists want. this fact did not upset us very much, because the absence of crowds of tourists and the shady beach with its trees suited us completely. the hotel also has 3 swimming pools, also almost always empty.
about the room and the cleaning in it, we got the room of average wear and tear, so to speak, in the second building, on the third floor. there were no special complaints about the room, we basically only spent the night there. cleaners were left 100 baht daily, but at the same time they often forgot to put something in, from shampoo to toilet paper)) all rooms overlook the pool, but it seems to me a dubious pleasure to live on the 1st floor with access to the pool, otherwise we would Every evening was entertained by bored guests of this hotel.
