Was in Sara Panwa in October 2009. Liked the hotel. Green well-groomed area, beautiful beach (there is a reef, but it's not the Red Sea - don't be disappointed), almost all rooms have a sea view. In two buildings of the hotel, the ball was being reconstructed, so the sounds of the perforator interfered a little; They say monkeys come to the beach every morning, but I saw only once and then only one.
A very secluded and quiet place, which attracts mostly older people, but this is for the best - everything was quiet and peaceful (there were no drunken Russian aunts). A tuk-tuk goes from the hotel every 10 minutes to Campari Bay (this is a pure pass over the hill behind which the hotel is located) - very convenient and free. You can buy fruits there, and you can eat on the mountain, for example, at James. And there are also scheduled minibuses to Patong, etc.
They rented a motor scooter, near the hotel, fell on the first day, paid the owner money for a scratched wing. Hospitals, by the way, in Thailand are very good (if you have insurance).

From the pier, which is in the hotel, every day a boat rides to the caral islands. They were not there, but they were on Ppi. The tour was ordered from the locals, they come to the hotel and offer to choose the one they like from a dozen offers. Everything was at a good level, as for Europeans, and not for foreigners.
