Hello everybody!! ! Now we are at the Amora Beach Hotel, we went there after Patong on the advice of a friend who works on a tour. business for many years. We were well aware that we were traveling in the low season, but we were assured that there were much less waves in Bang Tao than in the same Karon or Patong, but when we saw what was happening, we were shocked. It's not even that the waves are huge, but everything that happens around on the beach: the dirt that the hotel workers do not clean up on their piece of the beach, a lot of dogs that walk around the hotel, drink water from the pool, go into the children's section of the pool to wet their paws . There are a lot of abandoned huts on the beach, which are called cafes and bars in the high season, thinking that it was only near the Amora hotel, I went around the whole bay for the sake of interest, and didn’t see anything new. There is practically no one on the beach, because there are practically no tourists in hotels. There is practically nowhere to eat outside the hotel, except for a Russian restaurant and several cafes that accept only cash. Now about the hotel itself. The hotel is good, everything is very simple. There is a large swimming pool, and another smaller one, there are enough sunbeds for everyone, mostly Russians with children rest in the hotel. The room is modest, the air conditioner is noisy, the smell of mold in the room is present. Breakfast is simple, you won't leave hungry. Probably, for the price that we paid for 2 rooms, there are no complaints. I think that in the high season there are enough vacationers, but the hotel is not for parties. We really hoped for the beach, but were so disappointed. In Patong, the beach is much cleaner at this time, I really want to go back. Conclusion: in the low season there is nothing to do in Bang Tao, better choose Patong or Karon.
