A good hotel with a large picturesque green area, a swimming pool, access to a private beach with umbrellas and sun loungers. This is a big plus, because. not very crowded. The rooms are good, clean, everything is there - air conditioning, towels, shower accessories, etc. Everything is replenished and changed, cleaned well. The only thing that is tight with the Internet is that it is weak in the lobby. There is also a shop with all sorts of goods for recreation - beer, cocktails, ointments, creams : -), but, of course, more expensive than they can be bought in other places.
The hotel is located in a fairly secluded place, you need to walk or drive to cafes, bars, shops. By the way, taxi drivers and tuk-tukers take pretty well. If you are not in the mood to just relax on the territory of the hotel and the beach, then it is better to be puzzled by transport) - the most common option is a scooter.
I solved this issue in this way, plus I ordered excursions from a local company to make the rest more interesting. I visited the famous Thai islands.

In general, the hotel is more for families, for couples who go alone. For companies with friends, it may be better to choose somewhere closer to the center.
