share in the business of old women who sit behind the hotel fence and
unsanitary conditions, they prepare food for you for some money, because how
strangely enough, but for some reason I want to eat not once a day, but at least two.

Moreover, all the products were not in containers, but on plates covered with straw caps, despite the fact that the heat was about 30 degrees, flies and midges were flying. Then they brought us a plate of scrambled eggs and bacon. we managed to find out that since there are few tourists, it is unprofitable to serve a buffet for the hotel.
The same situation was in the Sunset Park Hotel (one owner). We were in this position from 19 to 22 April 2011. Everything changed when the Thais stopped by for the weekend. The "buffet" was immediately laid, there were other products besides scrambled eggs. This went on for days. With the departure of the Thais, everything returned to normal. But by this time we had already agreed (with the help of Tez-tour guides, (mind you not our guide from the host Antilles, whom we hadn’t seen in 14 days) that in addition to eggs, they could bring us a cup of rice and soup with seafood. Here so we lived for another 3 days. On Friday, April 29, the arrival of Thais began again and the buffet appeared again. True towels were changed every day, bed every 3 days. Cleaning of the territory of the hotel itself was also leisurely. It felt like the pools weren't cleaned at all. Leaves were lying around, the leaves fell into the water, no one caught it. I watched as the Thai woman was cleaning the shower room near the pool: she took out a towel from the basket, which is given out at the pool, threw it on the floor, rubbed the floor with it, including in the toilet room, then threw it back into the basket. But in the Jomtien area there are other hotels where you can really swim and take a break from work, from worries, and not have a headache where to eat. We visited friends at the See Sun Sad Hotel (behind the Sunset Village Hotel), and at the Pinnacle Hotel. I really liked these hotels. As they say, there are no comrades for taste and color, but maybe my story about this hotel will be useful to someone, and if your goal is to relax on the seashore, swim and sunbathe enough, you are not in this hotel.

We got a room in the garden, but it is in no way inferior to the rooms on the beach. We also liked the view of the beautiful garden. Yes, you may be a little disappointed with the bungalow at first. Everything is not the first freshness, the number bears little resemblance to 5 * in Turkey or Egypt. But literally in a day you stop paying attention to this minus. The room is clean, although old. Clean well and regularly.
The remoteness of "Sunset" from the city allows you to enjoy peace and tranquility, which is so lacking in modern life! And you need adventure - then you get in a taxi and go to Pattaya! There is where to have fun! But to live (as for me) is better outside the noise and din.
The hotel staff is friendly and helpful. At the reception, everyone speaks good English, they try to please and fulfill all reasonable wishes. Overall, I really liked the Thai people. Now I know why Thailand is called the land of smiles. It is worth meeting the gaze of a local resident - as he immediately begins to smile! Sincerely! The sea is clean (compared to the center of Pattaya : ) But still, sometimes the current brought some kind of garbage... In general, you can swim and have fun. The only thing is that at low tide, depth is lost. You feel like a conqueror of the Sea of Azov. . .
Excursions. Traveled a lot. And we advise all tourists - do not sit in your room or on the beach all day long. You don't have to go to Thailand for this. Look at the country, it is very colorful! Bangkok is a city of contrasts, I really liked the tour. Bright, exciting, with excellent food. The Kwai River is also worth a trip, you still need to look for such exotic. We were also on the Flight of the Gibbon, the tour is a flight over the jungle. You are lashed to a rope and sent flying through the trees. The height of the tracks is up to 50 m, the length is up to 300 m, there are 23 tracks in total. I advise people with good health, adrenaline rolls over!
We also visited the crocodile farm and the orchid park. Everywhere is very beautiful, interesting and exciting!
I liked the massage, but we took it on the street. Each time in different salons. The quality has always been good.
