Sunset Village Resort would be more correct to call Grand Service
Collapse Resource. Well, or briefly and to the point: a filthy hole. I sincerely
sorry for the parents that at some point in time they bought into
recommendations of people who visited Thailand for the first time and in the same hotel.
I wanted to show them the city from its best side, but it turned out like
always....
Let's start with a simple one: the hotel is either 3 or 4 stars. Google it and
it becomes clear that he does not have a clear gradation. In fact, he
inferior to the average treshka from Turkey. Judge for yourself:
- in an ordinary three-ruble note in Turkey there is an all-inclusive, but here it is not
- in an ordinary three-ruble note in Turkey there is a sea without a huge amount
inorganic debris floating in the surf (bags, cans, bottles), and
it's complete rubbish here.
- in the usual three-ruble note in Turkey, the staff at least somehow understands Russian, but not here.

- in an ordinary three-ruble note in Turkey there is a pool, but here it is either closed or not cleaned.

A special topic about food. Yes, they didn't let me die of hunger. The breakfast was better
than in the army.
Still, they gave an omelette every day (in the army it is supposed
only 1 egg and then only on Sunday), but the buffet,
relying on breakfast was not. This damn buffet is done
once in 2 weeks - on weekends, when there was a mass check-in at the hotel
Chinese. But on Sunday evening, the Chinese left home and took the Swedish
table with you. And it started again - one omelette and no fruit for you.
Apparently, the hotel staff cares about the weight loss of the guests, or has
share in the business of old women who sit behind the hotel fence and
unsanitary conditions, they prepare food for you for some money, because how
strangely enough, but for some reason I want to eat not once a day, but at least two.
Or preferably three.

Well, about the fact that each sneeze - for separate and considerable money - I suppose
everyone who has been to Thailand knows. In the end, an extraordinary charm
this nice country does not suffer much from the fact that money is pulled for everything.
Actually, it's like that everywhere.
But, dear, you need to know at least somehow
limit! While for many years from Pattaya taxi to the airport
costs 800 baht, fight with hotel visitors for the road to the airport 4000
baht is overkill.

Transport in general is a separate issue of this hotel. It is located half an hour
drive from the city center (with food, massages and other entertainment). Already
which has become traditional, paid (100 baht round trip) shuttle bus runs along
a very convenient schedule for guests: hotel-Festival - 9.00,
13.00, 17.00, 23.00, Festival - hotel - 9.30, 13.30, 17.30, 23.30. Not
like - taxi 400 baht.

About changing bed linen, infrequent cleaning of rooms, rotten boards with
rusty self-tapping screws, a solid sanuk and sabai of personnel, dirt, etc.
read in other reviews of the hotel: why repeat?

In general, summary: in this, so to speak, the hotel is not a foot.
