The hotel is a mess. The safe in the room does not work, it is scary to go into the bathroom, the breakfasts are terrible, there is no fruit. Complete unsanitary conditions. Don't stay at this "hotel".

We were in Shakespeare at the end of February 2014, our check-in was reminiscent of a video from a program about deceived tourists (((we settled in a different hotel (Gold Coast) for a day because of the resettlement, we lost a day, with whom you can somehow agree there, this guy Edvaldos is not speaks bad Russian / English.

I do not advise you to check into this hotel at all, insects bitten on the first night, the staff does not speak English or Russian, there is a translator and then a Lithuanian, they do not respond to all claims, unsanitary conditions and much more....read the reviews before go there.

From the plane to the bus (it goes just to Jomtien) and at 11 I stand at the reception and imagine - a bummer - there are no free rooms. . . it was Sunday, Thais from Bangkok come to Pattaya for the weekend, and the hotel on the same floor is being renovated. . . The secret receptionists whispered and took me to the next street, and there it turned out to be the "younger brother" of the Shakespeare Hotel - the Shakespeare Tavern. Then I found out that there are only three Shakespeare hotels. Located on three neighboring streets - the owner is one. Rooms in the Shakespeare tavern are about 10, but the establishment is fresh only after renovation. The furniture in the rooms is brand new, everything is ok. The only small inconvenience was having to go to the main Shakespeare for breakfast. But by the way, I don’t understand why such to put it mildly bad reviews on Shakespeare, the breakfasts were very good and varied, I met young guys from Novosibirsk, they lived there, they liked everything so much. I will return to the tavern. The Shakpier-tavern has a cool and very cozy restaurant, very good chefs. There is a discount for tourists from any of the three Sheks-s in the tavern. Staff ok. nice guys all young and cute. The location of the hotel is good. 1 minute to the sea, on the left is an excellent massage parlor, on the right is a PUB with girls "Carrots", 7-ELEVEN is 20 meters away, an exchanger is 30 meters away. If you go to the center in the evening, then 25 minutes in the afternoon, 15 minutes. On your next visit, only to Shakpier !! !

My husband and I rested in early November. Why do we need a hotel in Thailand? In my opinion, only in order to have a place to spend the night, well, and preferably a convenient location. Everything suited us. Of course, we are not the first time in Thailand and have been to hotels with a higher status, but the price tag there was completely different.

The rooms are quite normal, but the furniture is not new, but everything worked and was cleaned quite decently, and towels were changed every day and bed linen twice a week, as promised. We were not often at breakfast, but when we had breakfast, we liked everything. By the way, breakfasts alternate. We were given both scrambled eggs and pilaf and even some kind of soup (very tasty, only spicy). I read the previous reviews and was surprised. Maybe the whole point is that the hotel has a new owner recently (at the reception Thais complained that the new owner is strict). In general, we had a very good rest. I will rate the hotel 4- (minus for the fact that there is no elevator )

Every evening on Skype with my girlfriends is beautiful) It’s better not to be located. Everything is nearby and quiet at night. Breakfast is enough monotonous, alternating American (fried eggs or omelet) and rice with chicken meat. But it didn’t bother us, sometimes we didn’t have breakfast at all, we went to the beach and there we were already treated to fresh shrimp or smoked catfish. And what kind of boiled corn is there, class, and what kind of fruit.....: -)) In the room every morning they left 20 baht and cleaning and fresh towels are all normal. For the money. We went from the Anex tour for 11 nights for two people paid 42.000. I think it’s very budgetary.

We have never experienced such a nightmare before. The room was not changed, the bathroom is rusty, there is water on the floor, water barely runs in the tap. The room itself is so-so. Breakfast is generally a nightmare brought on a dish 2 toasters, a handful of green peas and beans and an omelet. 2 soy sausages.
