Friendly and helpful staff. The check-in went very quickly.
Good numbers. Cleaning took place daily. There is a kettle, tea and coffee.
Thanks chefs! Excellent varied breakfasts. The food was suitable for both children and adults.
Fun animation by the pool. Well done guys))) The pool with sand is just a godsend))) I didn’t want to leave the hotel territory - everything is just wonderfully arranged !!!
There are small disadvantages: in the bathroom there is no shelf in the shower for personal belongings, I had to put my jars on the floor; paid playroom for children (100 baht / hour - little money, but still... a decent amount has accumulated in 20 days)
A bunch of macaroons nearby, getting to anywhere in Pattaya is a trifling matter.
On our tour, the reservation was on the "City View (new)" room, overlooking the backyard of the hotel, or rather, the garbage disposal and waste disposal from the restaurant). The noise of the huge air conditioners and hoods located on the roof of the restaurant was very disturbing. And since our room was located above the restaurant, it was very noisy. . .
At the hotel, we were quickly issued and settled, despite the fact that it was not yet 14.00. They took a deposit of 100 dollars. There were two Russian girls at the reception, but they came at 9.00.
The food is excellent. Even better than excellent!!! ! Fried bacon, red fish (in abundance), sausages, beef, various meats, vegetables, fruits. Nothing to complain about.
In the room. They cleaned normally (not a fountain, of course), the towels are clean, the bed is a fairy tale! There was a set for tea - tea, coffee, sugar, cream, kettle, water 2 bottles - free of charge; safe, hairdryer. By the way, at the reception you need to take a sheet with a login and password for Wi-Fi (the Internet is free, which is very pleasing). The connection is good, it works throughout the hotel and in the room.
Pool and beach. The pool gives out 2 towels per person, you can go to the beach with them, but you have to return them back on the same day. The beach is across the road (50-100 meters). Approach any sun loungers, a caring Thai woman will immediately run up, cover your sun loungers and offer you drinks (for a fee), the cost of 2 sun loungers and a table is 100 baht. At the pool, of course, all this is free.
Excursions. We were included in the cost of the tour (BAT company), I must say right away - not very much !! ! It would be better if they weren't there... Too much superfluous - shopping, souvenirs, pharmacies, factories (all this is 3 times more expensive, don't buy). Only the Nong Nooch botanical garden was interesting. In general, excursions will be offered to you by your guide at the hotel, and you can choose for yourself.
Meals outside the hotel. Anywhere and anytime! Everything is very cheap!!!!! ! We went to the market on a Tuk-tuk (10 baht per person). You can buy a lot of things and for a penny, you can bargain, but the Thais are not particularly inferior, even sometimes angry...
General information. It takes 5 minutes by tuk-tuk from the hotel to the famous Volkin Street. Approach the road, the tuk-tuk stops, you sit down and eat. When you need to get out, press the bell button, at the exit you give the money to the driver. I warn you: there are no traffic rules for Thais! They do not react to pedestrians and red traffic lights. It was probably funny to look at us when we pressed the traffic light button and, having waited for the "green", boldly stepped onto the roadway... As a result, the Thais continued to drive as they drove)))) No one was going to stop!
Therefore, the road had to be quickly crossed))))
Eviction. There was an incident - our guide (the host) forgot to call us and tell us about the time of the transfer from the hotel. Without waiting for his call, I had to disturb him ourselves... By the way, when you check in at the hotel, they give you a SIM card (for free), which you put in your phone, and throughout the rest you will have a connection with the guide (you can call in Thailand , and beyond). We did not put this SIM card, so I can’t say anything about the tariffs.
In case of early check-out (in the evening), go to the Reception and ask to prepare a lunch box for you in the morning.
Then we went to the island of Koh Chang, to another hotel, of course, so the adventure continued)))))))))
The hotel has a huge number of pluses, but there are also small minuses. The undoubted and main plus is the location of the hotel, it is located on Beach Street and Walking Street is 5 minutes away by tuk tuk, or if you have time to walk, then walk about 20 minutes.
The hotel area is also very good. A lot of greenery and just a huge pool, they say that it seems to be the largest in Pattaya. A rock band from the Hard Rock Cafe, which is located nearby, plays for 1 hour by the people near the pool.
You can’t bring friends to the pool, otherwise you will be required to pay 450 baht for each one you bring, or they will deduct from the deposit left upon check-in (200 bucks per room).
Another big plus is the amazing breakfast. The variety on them is simply amazing, and different types of meat, and red fish and desserts are all very tasty.
The big minus of this hotel is paid internet, I think that in the modern world, where the level of communications is quite high, it is unacceptable to charge 300 baht per day for internet.
Otherwise, they didn’t notice the minuses, the staff is friendly, the rooms are cleaned well, if you have a birthday during your stay at the hotel, they give you a cake. But for the money that it costs to live there, it should be so. There are many cheaper hotels in Pattaya, maybe next time we will settle more modestly, but for those who love service, this hotel is 100% suitable.
There and back flew with Transaero. No complaints. At the hotel we stayed in a simple room. The son was provided with a full single bed. Everything was great. Repair was not even noticeable. They explained to us that they work from 9-13, and work is being carried out on the floors above.
The hotel has the largest pool in Pattaya with a sandy bottom, a varied menu, massage, spa saunas, in general there is not boring! Unobtrusive animation, attentive staff and excellent service - that's what you can say about this hotel.
The guides were great. Attentive and polite. When they called to ask about restaurants nearby, they told me about the Festival, which is 5 minutes from the hotel. Tasty and inexpensive.
Thanks to everyone who made this holiday for us!
