We chose Bella Grand and were not disappointed. The hotel is new and well maintained. The territory is not as picturesque and green as that of the Kabana, but nevertheless everything is clean. Two pools - a large one in the courtyard with a slide is open until late in the evening, the second is located on the roof of the building with the reception, it is quieter there. The hotel has many tourists from India and China. We have already encountered noisy Chinese when we rested earlier. There are many of them everywhere. Sometimes there may not be enough sun loungers by the pool in the yard, because people also come to the pool from the neighboring Bella Express. On the territory there is a gym, barbecue, sauna. It was annoying that many jumped into the pool right after the steam room to wash off their sweat ((We didn’t have “Adventures”, our deposit was returned in full. The breakfasts are excellent. The nearest cafe opposite the hotel next to Memorial Hospital is “Domicil”. In the supermarket "Tops", which is at the intersection of the second and central (2 minutes from the hotel), there is an inexpensive foot court. But fruit in the supermarket is expensive. A small fruit market is located on the main street, if you go from the hotel to the right and across the road. Also, several cafes are located on the road to the sea on the left side. We also ate at the "Festival", which is within walking distance, on the way to the "Festival" - shopping malls - everything for relaxation. Opposite the shopping center is the "Night Bazaar", which is open during the day. The nearest seafood restaurants are "Savoy" immediately at the crossroads, and on the beach street "Mr. 99". Cafes on the beach street are many times more expensive than in the back streets. As planned to swim went to the island. It’s not difficult to get there: on the beach street you need to take a tuk-tuk and get to Walking Street for 10 baht, or if you’re lucky, you can go straight to the pier, if not, you can walk it (or take the Walking and take 2 minutes to get to pier also for 10 baht), ferries run frequently as they fill up, you don’t need to buy tickets - you pay directly at the entrance to the ship, the cost is 30 baht. Already on the pier of the island, you can take a tuk-tuk and go to any of the 5 beaches for 30-40 baht. We were on three Taven, Same, Tien. The latter is the most picturesque, with a good entrance to the sea, though there were low tides. Sun beds are paid 50 baht. The exchange rate of the ruble in Thailand has fallen significantly, now for 1000 rubles you can get about 500 baht, before everything was 1 to 1. We took dollars with us. By the way, do not forget that the exchange rate is more profitable for large banknotes. We changed in the exchanger "T T" - the best rate, you will find them in the city, they are yellow. We didn’t go to the Pegasus tour operator, because the last time our meeting did not bring a positive result, we said that we had already purchased the tours, and we didn’t see the guide anymore, he didn’t have any interests at all. Yes, and what to tell about the hotel, and so everything is clear where the pool is and where the breakfast restaurant is. And you don’t need to do any registration of departure tickets, everything is paid for, insurance works anyway, so if you want to get caught on expensive excursions, come to the meeting. However, I did not deny myself a two-day trip to the picturesque island of Koh Chang. . I recommend everyone to visit this island, full of relaxation, after noisy Pattaya.
