Just returned from my second trip to Pattaya. There was not much money - they tested the option - a three-ruble note on Jomtien. The result of the rest - post-holiday stress, I want to go back! In essence: the hotel is located at the beginning of Jomtien (1st street), next to J. Palm Beach. That is, choose routes - to the center (tuk-tuks are crowded), down the promenade - in search of a cleaner sea and new cafes, or along the beach towards the cliff and Pattaya Park (horror and desolation, not a park), but you can go to the beach across the road. This hotel is relatively new, everything is clean, tidy, the staff is happy to see you! The room is successful, spacious with a balcony, only in deluxe rooms, the rest of the balconies look at the unsympathetic surroundings, and okay, the main thing is there is a clothes dryer. The staff at the hotel speak little Russian, knowing a few words in English will help a lot. The pool is small on the 3rd floor - the water is clean and very warm, but a family vacation with children comes into conflict with the European pension by the pool. Helped neighbor - Palm Beach, took us to his pool. Sea water near the hotel is muddy, dirty, hot. But, for 30 baht per person - Tawaen beach every hour from the pier (preferably earlier and there and back), 800 baht - a car to Saikeo beach and back (plus 80 baht per person - for entering the territory). And of course Samet. By the way, the excursion product was taken in "Captain Vrungel", fortunately, do not listen to the hotel guides, they are sitting on a percentage. Breakfasts are excellent for a treshka. Thai dishes (first and second), pasta, soups, continental set, plus pineapple watermelons. A little lower along the embankment there are wonderful Thai eateries with the freshest squid shrimp (grilled, soups, salads). For Russians - NO SPICY by default, menu with photos and Russian translation. The average check we had was 300-400 baht for three and not a hint of poisoning. Fruit everywhere in bulk inexpensively, they didn’t even delve into the cost. Of the minuses - the option to get into Eurostar International, an old unrenovated hotel, such as the 1st building. Conclusion - a good hotel, in a good location for the money.
