Rested with my husband in early March 2011 (age 35-40 years).
LOCATION: The hotel is in the northern part of Pattaya, located right on Naklua Road, from there “direct” tuk-tuks go to the center, back as lucky... There are no clear routes, and if there are few passengers, they go straight from the second street directly to the first. This is not a big problem, walk a few meters and change to another tuk-tuk, that one will definitely take you home! The issue price is 10 rubles (butt) from the nose (one trip). By the time of 10 minutes drive, if there are no traffic jams on the first street. In my opinion, getting there is convenient!
Walking to the sea for 15-20 minutes, we swam on the beach of the Garden Sea View Resort 4, the beaches are municipal, so there is no problem to get to the beach. On the beach sunbeds (free of charge), shower, swimming pool, cafe. The sea is quite clean, the bottom is flat, sandy. Near the "Russian" area, many restaurants, tour agencies, etc. , focused on Russians (in the direction of Garden Sea View). A five-minute walk "Seven Eleven", mini-market.

ROOMS: the hotel consists of three buildings, 1st and 2nd - old, renovated, 3rd - new. Standard rooms, as I understand it, are located in old buildings, in the new superior and deluxe rooms. It seems to me that it is better to book them, then they will be like in the pictures on the hotel website (they can face the road, but the sea is in the same direction). The standard is simpler, plus there were problems with the sewerage (not critical, but the water from the sink did not leave well), as the guide said, this is the problem of the entire hotel. We were settled on the first floor (they could move, but bribed their own "garden" of palm trees, there were no balconies in other rooms of the old buildings). Linen and towels were changed and cleaned daily.
HOTEL in general: Reception staff very pleasant. Very affordable laundry. The breakfasts are delicious, if you wish, you can find some variety, there is everything, up to soups; with baking only tight. Massage is very inexpensive, 200 baht per hour (2 hours - 320), but in the city (towards Garden Sea View), you can find 150 per hour. There is a nice swimming pool on the roof of the new building.
IMPRESSIONS: I probably would not go to Pattaya for the second time... Smells, fuss, and general disorder. The neighborhood of expensive hotels with shacks and garbage dumps. City of contrasts!
But most excursions are from there. The CROCODILES and the rock garden were a gift from the Biblio-Globus. Interesting, you can take beautiful pictures. NONNG NOCH: also beautiful, but, it seems to me, also for photographs mainly; perhaps we were not very lucky with the guide (the tour was taken on the street). AYUTTHAYA + KWAY: also taken on the street, 3400 per person (elephant riding included). Much cheaper than the tour operator, in addition, the combination of Kwai and Ayutthaya, in my opinion, is very successful, because. Ayutthaya is on the road to Kwai. As a result, the transfer is not so tiring, the tour is very eventful. Two-day tour, includes Ayutthaya (3 temples), lunch, elephant village + rafting on small rafts, radon springs, dinner, overnight at a hotel on the river (the hotel, however, looks more like a summer house, very, very budgetary))), but in terms of functionality not so bad, clean bed, working plumbing, hot shower, fan. There was even a TV, but they didn’t check whether it works or not, because they only came to spend the night. Then breakfast, rafting on a large raft with waterfalls, then Erawan - a seven-stage waterfall. Dinner. Well, plus there are three stores, but very unobtrusively. Here the guide, Ivan, was very much in the subject! We also went to KO SAMET on our own, with an overnight stay. We also bought a transfer in a street (not Russian-speaking, almost opposite the hotel) agency (in Russian it was more expensive). 1400 for two round trip. They took a room there for 1300 (for two, it could have been cheaper, but this hotel sunk into the soul). All night the sea was noisy right under the window, and the air conditioner in the room was + taystyle + deserted beach (the sea is clean and warm, fine, almost white sand) . . and they cooked delicious food nearby! This is where I would love to go back!

RESULT: The combination of price and quality of the Crystal suited us perfectly. As well as its location (which is the most important in Pattaya, in my opinion. )
