We stayed there for one night on September 28th, 2009, we were shown the price - the cheapest room was 2.750 baht. But since it was almost night in the yard and we were just off the bus from Cambodia, a rather difficult and long journey, we decided to stay and we'll see.
For some reason, the prices here are 1428-1500 and above. The conclusion suggests itself impartial for the staff : (
I didn’t like the hotel precisely because of the value for money, and then the rest of the shortcomings were added.
1) The declared "free" Internet once barely worked, the rest of the time it did not work at all. Strange for such a price and such a respected institution.
2) the huge pool is so chlorinated that I had to wash my swimsuit several times - I have never seen such a concentration in any hotel.

3) it’s far from the center and it doesn’t really give any pluses, it seems that the charm of Pattaya is that it’s cheap and interesting evening life, why live on the outskirts for such a price? nor the purity of the sea (disgusting, with huge dead jellyfish lazily nailed to the beach)
3) the general situation strongly resembles the Black Sea resorts of the transitional period - both in service and prices (how to grab more), I didn’t see foreigners there at all - only Russians who apparently don’t know that there are places much better and cheaper.
The only thing I liked there was a very pleasant middle-aged Thai woman at the reception, who asked about our plans and made every effort to find out about the flights we needed to Phuket, spoke with her in English, a very pleasant and sympathetic employee, unlike the others, who were very Russified, in the bad sense of the word.
Dropped off before noon. We fought back from the annoyingly offered taxi to Bangkok airport for 2400 baht, for 200 baht (per car) we got to the bus station, from there for 200 per person to the airport. Total as much as 600 baht. Fast and cheap.
Well, the price that I looked at on arrival on the Fargo website finally finished me off. Very strange prices at the reception? Or is the hotel so packed during the rainy season that there are only rooms left for that price? (In Phuket, we lived in a hotel (not the first time in it) better for 1200 baht, like Phuket is considered expensive... )
For all of the above, a solid two.
