The sea is dirty, swimming is unpleasant, so we got to the pier, where the ferry is lucky to the island of Koh Lan, there are about 5 beaches, you can take a scooter and go to any beach. There are also two interesting beaches, but on the other side of the hotel, you don’t have to go to the center, the first is a military beach or the Blue Lagoon, or Military and the second Sattahip, the second one is generally super, turquoise water and coniferous trees on the beach. Excursions were taken from local travel agencies and cheaper, and without stopping at the shops that guides from our tour operators love so much). The food at the hotel was the same for all 11 days, the choice is small, but we had breakfast, so we can stand it), we had dinner in a cafe between our hotel and the Ambassador, called Gosha's, yum yum, everything is fresh, tasty and inexpensive, and nearby. The room was cleaned every day, but so purely symbolic, they folded things and made the beds, changed towels for the beach and in the shower. Every morning they put one water per person, there were two of us, two bottles of 0.5 liters for free, a mini bar was paid, we didn’t take anything, shops across the road, and beer and snacks, it makes no sense to overpay for a bar. There is a safe in the room and it is free. The pool is chic, clean, no smell of bleach and open 24 hours a day. Thai massage in the hotel is more expensive than in other places 350 baht, around 300 baht, oil massage for 1 hour, they did it in the center, then on the Kwai River and on Sattahip beach, I liked it on the river and the beach, it’s good in the center, but it’s better there. Exchangers are on every corner, but compare rates, there is a difference. We went to the Night Market near the Tesco store in the center, well, it’s mostly Chinese and expensive, we have the same at home) . We bought home Thai balms, sniffers for colds, coconut oil, bags are good and inexpensive, all this can be bought at the market near the Ambassador, from Botani it takes about 7 minutes to walk along the beach. The prices there are normal, compared in other places the bags were sometimes twice as expensive. You can bargain a little. If you take a few pieces of tea or balm, they will make a little discount. By the way, tea is tasty and healthy from blue flowers of blue, green with milk, from lemongrass. In general, I liked everything, delicious, beautiful, exotic. Regarding tuk-tuks, local buses) the cost from Botany to the center is 30 baht, but in the evening after 22.00 these same tuk-tuks turn into tuk-taxi and cost 300 baht. So expect that if you walk after 22.00 you won’t find less than 300 baht, everyone has the same price! ! )
