In general, the price of a trip to this hotel corresponded to the quality: we took a package for 37k in a "deluxe" for two for a week, which is very cheap, especially in comparison with other offers, especially considering the long flight.

What can I say: if you do not spend around the clock only in a hotel, then you can live.

1) The contingent of tourists: mostly Russian and Ukrainian families below the middle class, there are almost no young people, there are also Kazakhs (funny comrades without complexes) and rare Chinese (I don’t know if it’s worth commenting), in percentage terms, a large mass of large aunts, to which, in addition to as a "woman" language does not turn to address.

2) Territory: large, and this is the main plus of the hotel: there is space, several restaurants and pools to choose from, and most importantly, a large market near the hotel (where prices are often lower than in the city, and the choice is excellent, just remember to bargain).

The sunbeds are mostly uncomfortable (fabric), there are also normal ones, but the aforementioned “women”, apparently, get up at 5 in the morning just to take them with their towels, and then go on to sleep. Therefore, normal sun loungers on the beach are actually empty for half a day, but they are full, God forbid you encroach - you will probably be quartered))) except that they can be found vacant by the large square pool. What to do, what vacationers, such a level of culture. Therefore, we only went to the sea to swim (by the way, the water is quite clean, we were very surprised and amused by some comments of compatriots floundering near the shore; people, do not expect crystal clearness where the sandy bottom is for you - this is not pebbles in Turkey! ), but sunbathed / we were already resting by the pool, where there are a lot of advantages: the shade of numerous trees, the singing of birds, cool water in the pool and the absence of “women”.
3) Accommodation: Tower Wing is in a rather deplorable state: the hotel itself is not bad and even a glass elevator was thought out during the construction (but for some reason not from the sea side) and a huge last floor - almost an observation deck, but all this is terribly neglected and therefore looks unsightly . The rooms are below average, it’s better to pay a couple of thousand extra for a deluxe - there will be fewer people on the floor, and the rooms are higher (better view) and the area of u200bu200bthe room is larger (we lived in one). The furniture and decoration are as old as the rest of the hotel, the only thing is that the wardrobes and beds, along the way, are the same in all Thai hotels, differ only in the year of manufacture. The mattresses are very comfortable, especially for young couples; ) we want the same home))) They clean up badly, tips do not affect it in any way, but if there is an obvious jamb (such as a torn mattress or breakage) and politely explain at the reception to the only responsible and fortunately English-speaking employee, they will help.
The staff, of course, leaves much to be desired, except for that very English-speaking young man - he is just a godsend, with such and such English)) It is depressing that the windows were never washed at the hotel, so the beautiful view is blocked by a thick layer of dirt, which is why - something is not visible only on the pictures ...The windows open from below and 15 cm, you can’t smoke in the hotel (in Thailand, smoking is prohibited everywhere in buildings, only on the street) and probably impossible, so it’s better for smokers to take rooms in another building, with a balcony . Keep in mind that ants in Thailand are man's best friends, it doesn't really depend on the hotel, so don't leave sweets and alcohol glasses unattended or dirty - you'll understand why) If you don't leave them, you won't see them. The air conditioning is individual, it works great, I was freezing in the room all the time.
4) Meals: for breakfast (and we took only them) the variety is quite normal, especially compared to European hotels. You won't go hungry, you can also eat fruit. The names of the dishes are in English, so don't torment the cooks and take a dictionary, the cooks don't speak Russian anyway. Do not expect again the Turkish variety of dishes! It is nowhere else in the world noooo! ! It's like comparing a paraglider and a kayak - zero sense, useless and terribly tired of listening. We dined across the road, in a restaurant with three plastic tables and oilcloth, without Russian flags, but with very affordable prices: lunch for two 150-300 baht. The first time is scary, then it's normal, because it's tasty, safe and budget. We ate at the restaurants of the hotel or in the city.

5) Transport accessibility: far from the center of Pattaya, so if you are traveling for massages and other services, it is better to settle in the city.
But the sea is better here, and you don’t see all this disgrace. You can get to the city either by sangteo (in common tuk-tuk) with transfers, or hire them as a taxi. 150-250 baht is a red price, but the Thais are getting more and more impudent in the season, and it is not always possible to agree. The main thing is to bargain and always say “oooooo” to their offer - they only understand this well =) it’s even better to learn a couple of words and numbers in Thai, it helps in the market and with taxi drivers, like finger language.

6) A couple of tips for vacationers: smile at the Thais! You will immediately feel the return in the form of simplification of communications and resolving issues. Only if you are being blackmailed by a sangteo driver who travels along a standard route (what happens: they say either pay extra or I won’t go further), tell him about the Tourist Police - this should immediately sober him up. Don't raise your voice to them!

Thais are not Arabs, they don’t understand this, since it’s not accepted in principle, and they really turn off, that is, they don’t perceive everything that you tell them. Very funny) Conclusion: swear or argue calmly and with a smile. And of course, in no case do not raise your hand to the Thai, do not push him, and in general it is better not to touch him, just put your hand in front of you in the air if anything; otherwise, you will have two alternatives: either a court and prison, or a bribe to the injured party. The punishment for insulting a person, unlike in Russia, in Thailand exists not only in words. And, well, be more careful and attentive in the center and in busy places, as well as near roads: there are thieves, rummaging through pockets, removing jewelry and watches so that you don’t notice, or motorcyclists tear off bags and chains. Leave it all at home (jewelry, watches, etc. ), there is no one to show it to! !
The more modest and decent (not in shorts and flip flops, but in jeans and sneakers) you are dressed, the less extra attention to you. Check and control pockets, especially if someone approaches you or behaves strangely with you (for example, trannies on a walking street) - put your hand on / in a pocket with money.

7) We will definitely not go to this hotel again, but if there is not enough money, you can relax once. Everything is cheap, and for the whole vacation we spent $ 500 pocket money, without denying ourselves anything. Good luck!
